With so many places to chose from this is not a place worth visiting. Service was awful and the food was fine but nothing special.
Photos seen on open table seem a bit out dated. Looks more upscale then what it is. More a midtown dive bar then a place for a business lunch
We really enjoyed everything about 5th & Mad. The one thing I would recommend is to make the music lower, so diners can hear each other better.
Good food but really loud. The food was good but the bar was very loud and overwhelmed the booths. We were there early (6pm). I shudder to think what dinner would have like later in the evening.
Not great. The food is mediocre, the service was poor and the place was way too hot and noisy. Wouldn’t go back or recommend.
Love this place! The happy hour specials are great, and the best thing is that the drinks are strong so you're getting a lot more than what your technically paying for. The times I've been there's been a live DJ playing great music. It does get pretty loud so not the best place to hold a deep hearted conversation, but it's definitely worth it! Can't wait to go again!
Enjoyed it thoroughly! Had a lively crowd with great food and drinks. We will definitely return!
Too noisy. Waitress barely showed up.
This would have been a one star overall experience if not for our server, who was great. We made a reservation and upon arrival was greeted with someone shouting at us from the bar to "sit wherever!". When I told them we had a reservation (and I wanted to be sure it showed up as we had come) he looked at me like I was on crack and said, "Reservation?!". We found a booth where the table was clean but the upholstery of the booth seats were horribly - I mean horribly - stained. We stared at that option a little horrified before searching the rest of the location for a better spot, but could not find one so sat in the icky booth. I ordered a Laugunitas IPA which when it arrived tasted so stale I almost (almost) couldn't drink it. Food took a while to come and when it did it was unspectacular. My turkey burger was a frozen thing up until it was cooked (microwaved?) and served to me. My wife's food also underwhelming. We left a location nearby to come here to eat, and I regret that decision. I would not come here again, nor can I recommend it.
The music was too loud!! Couldn't hear the waitress or the person sitting across at my table.
Went for pre concert dinner and drinks. Really loud. Waited 15 mins before we had to ask for a server. Food came out quickly and was good quality. Loud due to happy hour crowd. Would go back just not during happy hour.
Friendly staff. Mac n cheese was awesome!!Chicken tacos tasty with just the right kick to them.
Great staff. Service was spectacular and accommodating. Good place to watch sports
Great service. Waitress was very polite and attentive. Food was good don't usually have a bad experience there. I ordered the lobster ravioli and it was a little salty. Otherwise, food was good.
Unfortunately restaurant was closed at this time. I don't unstated why they took reservation. We had to looming for different place. We were very disappointed
Stopped by for a late lunch on a weekday with my family who was visiting from out of town. Very few people in restaurant/bar but service was super slow and not friendly. Tables were sticky and felt like nobody bothered to clean them after bar patrons from night before. Gross.
Soda was flat and undrinkable. The server's response when we told her the Diet Pepsi didn't taste right- 'Oh, we get that a lot. It's just the way it's mixed here." Really?
The chili looked and tasted like it was sitting in a crock pot for several days. Server never bothered to check on us after the food came out- not even to refill water. Some of the worst service I've experienced in my ten years in NYC.
Maybe the bar scene is good there at night but would skip the food at this 'gastropub'.
Food was good, typical pub stuff, beers were cheap. Server was super nice once we found her, had to go to the bar to ask for the server after waiting 15 mins or so sitting down. Place has comfy booths and great TV screens for sports.
This is basically a pub, with good burgers and salads. Crazy loud that I could barely hear my companions during our dinner. The attentive service was great.
