   We had a second awesome experience at 5 Church. After not coming her for a while we decided to return for a birthday dinner and our server, Staldrick, couldn't have been better. He was kind, helpful and very attentive. We had the burnt ends appetizer, wedge salad, two flatbreads and two of the filets with sides of whipped potatoes and carrots and the food was fantastic. There were four of us and the staff went above and beyond to make sure everything was great multiple times. The manager even came over to check on us and when she saw that we needed more water brought it right over to us. I can't recommend this place enough. If you go to the Midtown Atlanta location, ask for Staldrick and you won't be disappointed. Great person and waiter.

   For the location and atmosphere to be as great as it is…the food is not good. Went for brunch with 4 other people. No one was satisfied with the food. Drinks were okay. Beef was over cooked, grits and hash brown was dry, mussels were just ok. However, service was awesome! It’s a shame food didn’t match.

   The food was awful and overpriced. The service was great along with the ambiance. If you go here just save your time and money and go straight to the rooftop bar for drinks. The drink and food menu is also very limited —not too many options available. I probably won’t visit again.

   Very comfortable, good vibe, surprised how vacant it was but maybe just due to the memorial day weekend. Disappointed we couldn’t get a later reservation as the place was empty. Would recommend

   Its a big difference from the pictures. I thought it was very upscale, it was not. There was a guy that had sweats and a t-shirt on and my date was dress nice with a cap on. After we finished eating, they asked my date to remove his hat. Its too late to remove a hat when we are waiting for the check. The greens were full of stems, no actual leafs. The salmon was very bland. They bring the silverware and sit it on the bare table. The hightop table was unstable. The tables were very close to each other. I will not be returning.

    I went for brunch and the food was very tasty. The ambience is great. Pineapple mimosas highly recommended. The only reason I didn't give a full 5 stars is because we were placed right next to an air conditioner that was dripping liquid. I had to make sure I didn't get splashed. However I would still come back again and hopefully that will be fixed.

    I cannot speak highly enough about the brunch at 5Church - Midtown. The ambiance was lively, our server was attentive and the food was amazing. My group and I tried both the red and white sangria and loved them both. I will for sure return during future trips to Atlanta.

    We love brunch at 5Church, and this time was no different. We did get profiled at the door (we'll let the hostess explain that), but that aside, we had a fabulous all-around experience as usual!

    Great spot for business meal. Too bad the food wasn’t at the same level. Ordered shrimp and grits and shrimps wasn’t cooked nearly long enough. Grits were runny and oily.

    Great food and excellent service! The manager was super friendly. He came over to check on us and he ended up sitting and talking with myself and my wife for about 30-40 minutes. We were looking forward to sitting on the patio but the weather didn't permit. Sitting downstairs inside bothered me a tiny bit because it did get a little loud and the lighting was a bit low. But other than that, we would definitely go back! Highly recommend it!

    I went to dinner for the Mother's Day buffet. It was just ok and there was nothing memorable on the buffet that got me excited. It was our first time at the restaurant and my Mom said she didn't have to come back. Our waitress was nice and attentive.

    Went for their Mother’s Day, brunch experience. Our reservation was at 6:45, and as we arrived early, we were pleased to find that we were seated, almost immediately. But that’s where the pleasure ended. We sat at the table a good, seven or eight minutes before even being acknowledged. At that point, we were greeted by someone for management, and told the server would be with us immediately. One did arrive shortly there after, but clearly it was not her station. She took our drink orders and sent us off to the Buffet. What a disappointment that was. A good, 35 to 40% of the trees were empty or very near empty, and that those that had food in them were certainly not kept fresh. The carving table amounted to a hunk of what appeared to be processed, turkey breast, and some beef that was more fat than meat. We live in the area and I was I was intrigued by the looks of the restaurant as I walked or drove by. This seemed like a good opportunity to give it a try. It certainly didn’t turn out as I expected. The good news is that the mother in our crowd was not disappointing at all because it was the company of her family that she was interested in more than the food that was served. We all had just hoped that the food served would be as special as she is to us

    We did not enjoy any food options for the Mother's Day brunch. The buffet was split across the restaurant which was inconvenient and clumsy. We would have had a better experience at Golden Corral.

    Most of the food looked better than it tasted. Some things were downright stale and the service was lackluster at best. The bartender clearly resented being asked to pick up the slack and rolled his eyes when I asked for 4 coffees when it was "Hot as hell" outside. I'll certainly never go back but can appreciate that the Mother's Day Buffet was something outside their typical schedule so maybe they were just off their game.

    Was sat at a broken table, when asked to switch the waitress had an attitude and stated ALL the tables were as wobbly as our current table and tried to blame the kids for causing the issue. Our next table didn’t wobble at all so this wasn’t the case. Took us about 70 minutes to eat Mothers Day brunch and the waiter came around ONCE to refill our water. The glasses are very small so it doesn’t take long to go through it. Food was mediocre, salmon was bone dry. Tasted like it had been sitting in the warming tray since last night. Nothing was actually good, just edible.

    This is specifically about the Mother's Day Brunch. The food felt heartless and flavorless. I'm sure part of that was needing to make large quantities of a set menu, but for instance the Shepard's pie (which I love and was excited about) tasted like unflavored meet and unflavored vegetables. Most of the food was like that. Would go back to try dinner in a non buffet setting though.

    Super place to go before show at Symphony Hall. Wow, foot was great - better than expected. Servers were very friendly and solicitous - plenty of suggestions (too many?). The ambiance is fun but awfully casual for the menu and prices; all open, hard surfaces, big bar. Made it VERY noisy and hard to hear one another. If we weren’t hustling through to get to show, I’d have liked it less and probably rated a 4 vs 5.

    Three of us and poor service. Got the bill and an automatic 20% added. Also, the additional tip slot on the bill was left open. If I hadn’t paid attention it would have been easy to add even more. Don’t appreciate being forced to leave 20% when server did not earn it. Prob would have given anyway bcs I support the dining industry and their servers. But let me decide for myself. Won’t be back.

    Seated our party of 9 fairly quick -7:15 reservation, sat 7 minutes later. OK Server came back in 10 minutes, took our drink order. Ehhhh, not that OK We did not see any cocktails until 8:15, then only 4 out of 5 arrived. Not OK Asked manager where was glass of wine, that was ordered & that took another 10 minutes. SO NOT OK - frustration overload. They did comp us 2 apps - nice, BUT because the one we ordered was out ! Honestly, food was good - 5 Church mussels were outstanding and food done well. But, because of service I would highly rethink this restaurant. And I don’t want to hear any BS because we were a large party. If you take the reservation - Respect the reservation, its your job.     Taylor Swift concert weekend with my daughter. We loved the restaurant and will try the one in Charlotte, NC where we live!!!
