The food and drinks were great! I loved the atmosphere
My boyfriend and I really did not enjoy this place. The service was extremely slow. The complementary champagne for his birthday came out really fast. Everything else (appetizers, cocktails, and dinner) took forever. It was definitely packed for a Monday, but we didn’t notice our waitress being slammed. Just more so steady, so we couldn’t understand why it took so long for everything. She was very polite from what I could see but just on her own time I guess. We both ordered the 60 second ribeye (which isn’t a process they use anymore but it’s still on the menu). He ordered 14 oz and I 10. I ordered mine medium and he ordered his medium rare. They cut them into two pieces. One of mine was definitely medium well. There was no pink at all. The other had a little bit of pink but both pieces were tough. My boyfriend wasn’t impressed with his steak either. They both just didn’t have flavor. The Brussel sprouts weren’t terrible, but nothing to rave about. The Mac and cheese is what did it for both of us. It was not cooked all the way and taste tough and chewy. My boyfriend is pretty easy to please and barely complains but he sent it back and was very vocal about not liking this place, which confirmed to me that it wasn’t a good experience. I will say it was packed for a Monday and is a very trendy place. If you’re looking for a “vibe” in the city, then this will be the place, but just don’t get your hopes up or come hungry. Oh and I had the Viper drink. Nothing to write home about. We won’t be back which is sad because I was excited about it. People have been begging them for a buckhead location which has left me shocked!
Great experience all the staff were friendly and helped when needed.
I absolutely love 5Church! The food is to die for and the service is amazing! I made a reservation and was seated right away with no problem even with an almost packed house. I will definitely always come back when I visit Atlanta.
This was my first time visiting 5Church for brunch, and it was an absolute delight. The food, service and environment was amazing. I can’t wait to do back to try the dinner menu and cocktails.
Went there with a party of 6 on the way to the Fox. Initially I was turned off because the hostess refused to seat us until the last person from our group of 6 arrived. Then, our server refused a request from the vegetarian in our group for a veggie omlet.
There is already a seafood omlet on the menu. And our vegan person was told to just eat sides. That meant potatoes only.
Then our server asked the chef who made a yummy veggie omlet and a beautiful vegetable and potato bowl for our veggie ppl.
We all enjoyed our food and our time.
They need a few veggie friendly menu items and to lighten up on the seating rules.
We went for brunch, and the food had problems. I had the short rib hash which wasn't hot and didn't include the peppers listed on the menu. My husband had chicken and waffles. He got 1.5 chicken breasts that were stringy and dry. We were the first customers of the morning so this was surprising. When we told the waiter, he said, "Do you still want to take it home?" instead of offering to remove it from our bill. (I took it home to make chicken salad.)
My husband and I went for brunch. Food was okay. Chicken and waffles the waffles were good, chicken was overcooked and tough to cut. Seafood omelette was good but there was a lot of egg and not as much seafood or peppers.
When we got here we were the second table seated. Open Table mentioned there was an hour and half limit for your table. Not that it’s a limit, but it will take that long for your server to come back. I get most restaurants have staffing issues, but we could see our server checking on every other table but not ours. We waited at least 10 minutes before we were greeted (again we were the second table seated) and we already looked at the menu and knew what we wanted to order. 15 minutes front the end of eating before he came to check on us.
It’s definitely a vibe in there food was great. The customer service was outstanding. Highly recommended!
Imani our server was wonderful. The food, especially the sushi tots, were delicious!!!
Definitely would go again!
The manager on duty, Valerie, was less than kind in addressing a food issue. Our server was very courteous and accommodating, however, I will not return based on our overall experience. The quality of food for the price was poor. Overcooked bacon and bad fruit at at high dining establishment is not acceptable. Quality food AND service go hand in hand. They failed at both, so I would not recommend to future guests.
Mitch was our waiter & he was amazing! Great personality, great service, great recommendations.. overall just a great experience!! The food & drinks were amazing!!
Cute little date night place. I wish the upstairs deck was open during lunch as well so you could see the city views any time of day. We were traveling from out of state and was told only after getting there that the outdoor seating was available after 5pm. Our server was great and went above and beyond during our visit. The food was delicious especially the lamb burger.
Food was horrible. I was very disappointed with the dinner menu options.
waited for a while for our server but he was clearly not that busy. the food there was alright. the crab cake has a very fishy taste to it, not pleasant. would not come again for brunch.
We ate brunch at an outdoor table and thoroughly enjoyed the experience. The ‘sushi tots’ were a great crispy rice take on potato tots with a tuna carpaccio topping. I had the ‘short rib hash’ and it was both delicious and filling - tasty sauce with perfectly poached eggs on top. My wife had crab cake Benedict which was also perfectly cooked and delicious. We will definitely be back.
I should add the indoor eating area is quite large and the noise level “energetic” for those contemplating it.
Amazing food and outstanding service! Favorite restaurant in ATL!!
Much more to be seem crowd than foodies. Wait staff was very good but food
was just OK.. Location was close to the Theater. Best feature of the restaurant.
Birthday celebration was great!
Maybe due to the pandemic..the food and drinks were not tasteful, our GNO was disappointing The service was outstanding our waitress Ashley was great! The rooftop didn't hv any music nor a DJ. Prices outrageous..
The food was just ok nothing to brag about I had the chicken and waffles my husband has the lamb burger. My waffles were brought out cold I didn’t complain I just didn’t feel like it that day. My husband enjoyed his food.
this place was amazing! our server was so nice and awesome. the food came quick. and the food was amazing! the crab cake egg benedict was SOOOOOOOO GOOD!
My husband and I had a great experience for his birthday. The staff was polite and attentive. Our waitress made sure we never wanted for anything. After dinner we went to the rooftop and enjoyed even more.
Salmon dish the rice taste like movie theater popcorn, the lamb burger is horrible and taste burnt. It’s been over an hour since we ran out and I can’t get the taste out of
My mouth not the smell of popcorn- don’t go there it’s nasty and not worth the money
Service was excellent
Food was cold. Ordered the Beef Short Rib hash for brunch and the short rib meat was cold in the dish. It was not properly warmed up! Had great taste but I was disappointed with execution of the meal.
Hostess was amazing and friendly.
Food was disgusting. They definitely don’t know how to cook steak or season food. I sent everything back, only thing good were the drinks.
It isn’t really the most ideal place for a day night, the food portions are very small, I didn’t understand how I couldn’t wear a baseball cap outside but they allow people to be sloppy drunk in front of the restaurant, service wasn’t the best but I’ll blame it on being a Friday night. Overall I would give it a 2/5 stars
Wonderful flavor combinations! Great local art on the walls!
The service was fine. Overall the ambiance was lacking and the food was mediocre at best. The cocktails were delicious, but for $14 a drink they were small. I ordered a filet, whipped potatoes, and roasted Brussel sprouts. The filet was just average. I could have ordered an equivalent quality steak at longhorns or outback. The whipped potatoes were so whipped it had me questioning if they were flake potatoes or at least pre-packaged and warmed. Nothing about them screamed fresh potatoes. The Brussel sprouts were the ultimate disappointment. Nothing about them was roasted. They seemed over-boiled and mushy so much so I asked myself if they were canned and not fresh. Neither my husband and I took more than one bite. We also ordered the sushi tots and they were just fine although definitely not worth $18. I was thoroughly disappointed with the quality of the food and the high cost for such low-quality products. We spent $160 for drinks, an app, and two steak entrees for which I could have spent $80 at Longhorns for a better meal. I will gladly pay high dollars for a meal when that cost corresponds with the quality.
I'd highly recommend for lunch or business meetings!
The food was a great, the service was exceptional.
Great place for our anniversary dinner.
Didn’t have 3 of their main lunch dishes available. Sandwich was not as described.
We went early on Sunday night and felt safe dining indoors. Our service was excellent! We had delicious specialty cocktails, appetizer and entrees and everything was delicious. We will be back!
Drinks were nice and the vallet was also super courteous considering how packed and long the waits were outside. Seems like you have to catch this place on a good night though.
The service was disappointing. Nothing like spending $150+ on a meal for you and your lady just to be ignored all night. Server/bartender waited 35 mins after we order to tell us they ran out of ny strip so order something else. When that food finally came our sides and steak add ons were missing.... To top it all off after she handed the check to me, she stood there and hovered over the table until I reviewed/handed my card to her. Where was this level of attention earlier in the night? We felt rushed and unwelcome here on this visit
Great food and excellent service!!
Visited the Charleston & Charlotte locations first visit here.
Everything about this location is a SEXY SITUATION!
Thanks Anthony! We're glad you loved our spot! - Stay tuned for the opening of our newest location in Buckhead!
Our food never came out and we were there for two hours :( we ended up having to leave to catch a show.
