Everything was outstanding! My wife and I each had the Valentine's Day menu with the Prime Filet, as well as the roe and duck confit appetizers. The wine was fantastic and the service was incredible. We look forward to coming back very soon.

I made a reservation but was seated at a hightop near the bar which would have been fine but the bar overflow kept bumping into me. We asked to be moved and they put us in the other dining room and we got lost in the shuffle so it took some time for our server to come. However, after that, everything was great! Service was excellent as well as food. My only complaint overall is that it was extremely loud and difficult to hear eachother. I would go again without hesitation!

There’s no question that this is a fascinating venue for a restaurant. However, the old church also makes it loud and drafty. Our server was friendly and attentive, but the food was sent out at a snail’s pace. All three entrees were bland and uninspired.

The venue was beautiful. The service was spot on. The grits, however, were more of a soup, and basically non edible. The Bloody Mary was perfect. 😊

Excellent steak but our table was on the bathroom side - too close to other tables and not a nice atmosphere compared to the church area. Worse was the filthy wine glass they gave me. It was clearly unwashed. The waitress apologized but nothing was done to make us feel they actually cared that this mistake was made. Filet was excellent. But Food was otherwise too salty.

The whole experience at 5Church was terrific. We loved the decor, food and service. The waiter was very knowledgable and friendly. He gave us the history of the restaurant and explained the menu, offering his favorites. They had a special 50 oz. Tomahawk Rib Eye that the 4 of us split. It was delicious. The drinks were delicious and the carrot cake was perfect and just the right size. We will be back and soon!

We dined here on valentines evening. First, The server “when” he was at our table was great however he rarely came to our table. Never once asked if we wanted another drink. I had to get his attention to ask for our check. Second, It was completely obvious that you were just taking advantage of people due to the day it was because the price was a ridiculous. I get that it was a 3 course so the price would be higher than normal but the average price that day was over double what the normal menu is and not at all worth it. my entree was great. However my starter was three oysters that were each about the size of half a teaspoon and my dessert was a red velvet donut. Yep, just a donut with some chocolate drizzle to make it look fancy. I only ate two bites of it. So absolutely not worth $90. Definitely not recommended, especially not on Valentine’s Day.

the food was excellent however we feel like we were almost price gouged because it was Valentine's Day. I also know we weren't the only ones feeling this way as we spoke to several other couples who were sitting nearby and felt the exact same way. When I asked about wine I was referred to the most expensive bottle they had to offer. Also, was kind of hard to hear because of the noise level. We were also very close and our table was tilted slightly. I would be willing to give a second chance however not on Valentine's Day.

The atmosphere was outstanding. We were seated in "the stables" which was quaint and special.
Had drinks at the bar which was great. The preservation of the "church" atmosphere was outstanding.

Our first time to Charleston and on Valentines Day so there was a set menu. First the place is amazing. Loved the look and feel of this place. Our waitress Cassie was awesome. Even being a set menu the food was excellent. A bit pricey but excellent! Drinks were also good. A must try!

The 3 course dinner menu for Valentine’s Day was low quality, extremely limited choices and overpriced. We dined there 4 times in the past and the quality was never as bad as on Valentine’s Day. We won’t return.
