Mother's Day Menus & Specials
Join us for Mother's Day at 5Church Charleston! We will be offering a special Mother's Day brunch menu. More details to come soon.
My daughter had the most wonderful time dining here. We did experience a few delays in seating and being waited on, however, the Manager and waitstaff were quick to resolve this. We appreciated it so much. We will definitely come back for another visit when we are in Charleston. PS: Many thanks for the complimentary bottle of wine.
The ramen was amazing
Wonderful ambiance and fabulous food. We were thrilled to have such a wonderful place to celebrate with friends. Definitely give it a go while in town.
Our server, Bailey was EXCELLENT! He knew all about the art, ceiling and especially the food.
AMAZING food, super cool ambiance. Get the pimento’
We had a great time at 5 Church. We celebrated a birthday and our waiter brought out a delicious chocolate dessert with a candle for the birthday girl! So sweet! She was surprised and it topped off a nice meal.
Bartender was rude, but manager intervened and made up for his bad behavior! Food was excellent and our waiter Sam was terrific!
Fantastic place for a meal and some history. The server was great about telling us all about the building and what it was used for over the years. The food was excellent.
We had a private outside room near front entrance at 10:45 for brunch. It was a perfect private room for 4. The meal was outstanding. Loved the regular breakfast items and the French toast was awesome. The pineapple mimosas were great as well as the Bloody Mary’s.
Amazing- loved it- such a cool spot and the food and drinks were delicious.
If you are in town and looking for a nice place to wine and dine then check this place out. Make sure to make a reservation!
This restaurant was our favorite of the trip- the ambience and interior are unique and added to our dining experience. We appreciated the level of service from our Server, who was kind enough to speak to the kitchen about creating a Vegan dish for our daughter. Overall, the food was very good and we will definitely return the next time we're in Charleston.
The food was delectable and the atmosphere was great.
Overall great experience, especially ambiance and decor. drinks were good and steak was good. Salad was interesting and a bit too salty.
We booked a table for 8 to celebrate my dad’s 80th birthday. We had outdoor seating, and the back patio was gorgeous. The food was excellent- every thing we ordered was cooked to perfection. I am glad we had outdoor seating, because I think indoors may have been a little too loud for our group. But it seemed like a fun vibe indoors as well, and the building was beautiful. I highly recommend this place!
The ambience was absolutely amazing!!! We had the charcuterie board, sushi tots, and some drinks during happy hour
Visited two times in two days. Very cool place. Ambiance is incredible. Waitstaff is very knowledgeable and prompt. Drinks are well made, charcuterie, pimento dip were excellent. Burger may have been one of the best I have ever had. I love a restaurant that has energy and this place has it, may be to loud for some. Overall great experience.
Our favorite place we visited in Charleston. The restaurant was so cool and the service was amazing!!
Great food in an interesting setting.
Such a cool place. The food was excellent and so was the service.
The reservation was late and they were out of 3 dishes , one being what most at the table wanted. We heard this was typical at this hour.
Our experience was horrible. It came highly recommended by locals. Got seated in only outdoor table. Out of chicken and ravioli. Forced to choose something we didn’t want. Food came cold. Will not recommend to anyone.
Great atmosphere. Enjoyed the food. Good bar scene. Good ambience. Would come back.
Took forever to get food but it was tasty once they finally brought it out
Great meal and ambiance.
Service and food were outstanding! Our party ate scallops and the crab leg boil and would highly recommend both. We did not feel hurried and thoroughly enjoyed the experience.
I now want to read the book that is printed on the ceiling!
Great service! Very cool location
Ambiance and service were top notch. Drink was excellent and food was good. We will be back!
The food was good, but we definitely had better food on our visit to Charleston.
Eight main courses on the menu, and they ran out of two of them. If your options are limited and exclusive, and your business is upscale and operates on reservations, then you can ensure you have enough food. Though we didn’t get our first choices, the food, service and ambiance were very nice.
Service was excellent. Food was excellent. Wine and cocktails are expensive. The atmosphere is very loud. It's a little too dark.
Was excited to eat here and was seated in the back room, with no view of the actual church space in the bar. No where did it indicate that we needed to request to be seated in a specific space. We proceeded to order the “all you can eat crab bowl”, only to be told it wasn’t actually all you can eat. Then we proceeded to order the ravioli, only to be told it was sold out (at 6:45 on a Tuesday night). Overall, the menu was unimpressive, poorly executed and we ended up leaving. Before leaving we spoke with a few patrons who were seated at 5:00 with small children for dinner, who’s meals still hadn’t arrived at 7:00. This was the only unimpressive restaurant we experienced in all of Charleston and we’ve been twice in the past 6 months. Not worth the price or the time.
Food and service were great. Friendly atmosphere!!
Greeting at the door to get him to check the staff was absolutely wonderful. The food was delicious, and some different dishes!
Sushi tots for the win!
They don’t have a big menu and literally the 2 appetizers we chose were not available. Then my daughter who is a vegetarian ordered the ravioli (only veg option) and it was their very last serving? Food tasted ok, but some of the food came out Luke warm temperature which was a bummer. The best part of the experience was the waitress who was very nice and the ambiance/decor. But we would not recommend nor go back.
Had the hand braided ravioli and the wife had the fried chicken. Both were excellent. I could have used a little more of a portion but it was great. The homemade crackers and hummus were a nice touch. Overall a great experience.
We had the most waiter - he checked on us throughout the meal. Also loved the hummus and crackers instead of the usual bread & butter
Such a cool destination! We had enjoyed the previous restaurant in this location and are even more pleased with 5Church! The atmosphere and decor have this great vibe and being in a former church with the great windows is awesome! The staff were friendly, professional and efficient even though the restaurant was packed. Our food was delicious - we especially liked the Lamb Burger and the Fried Chicken BLT. Can't wait to dine there again!
The overall experience was lackluster at best. The food took FOREVER to arrive to the table and when it did it was bland and flavorless. The highlight of the meal were the cocktails. Don’t waste your money. Go someplace else.
