Overall great experience- one note: would have preferred no tails on the shrimp in the Shrimp & Grits- it was not great having to take them off myself.
This is my second time dining at 5Church and it is a hit with friends and family every time. The menu has a broad range of selections so anyone can find something they enjoy. Both times I got the romaine lettuce salad and have enjoyed every bite of it. The mussels were also cooked well but wasn’t a huge fan of the tomato sauce. The steaks were cooked very well and a good portion size. The scallops were also great but a little spicy so be prepared for a kick! The overall atmosphere was very lively and would love to bring my friends here for a fun night. I would not recommend having a family dinner here as the lighting is very dim and the noise level is very loud. However, for a date night or night with friends it is a very fun place and a fun bar too!
I really enjoyed my overall brunch experience. The brunch mimosas were very responsibility priced and were tasty. The food is great and our service was very good! I plan to return for brunch/lunch.
Food was not as hot as we would have like but it was really good we didn't even want to send it back. However, I will be going back really enjoyed everything about the restaurant.
1) the music is really loud. Don’t go here if you want an intimate evening or anything. 2) everything on the menu is okay to pretty good. Nothingness was outstanding or fantastic, not even the cocktails.
Disinterested waiter, food was ok but nothing special...as you’d expect for the area/price.
Wonderful staff. So friendly. Fun evening out!
I love the food and customer service at 5Church! Definitely my favourite lunch place. ;-)
It was great! Our waitress was phenomenal and the food was delicious. I will be back!
Good food but it was noisy and our server was not observant. Thank goodness others picked up the slack
Enjoyed 5Church in Charleston, had to experience 5Church in Atlanta. Was not disappointed. The Watermelon and Lump Crab Salad was perfection!
Awesome food. Service was decent but nothing exceptional. Decor is definitely worth a first visit. Cocktails were worth the try but wouldn’t re-order any of the drinks we tried. Wine selection is on point (Duckhorn, Caymus, Opus One).
We love this place, the food and drinks are excellent. It definitely makes a difference depending on who your server is. We had an awful experience last night, I can’t believe this person is even allowed to serve. No knowledge of the menu, never brought our hummus, never asked to refill our drinks, tacky mannerisms. We will come back but only if certain servers are available. Very disappointed.
Was in town for a conference and met my sister in law - this was an awesome place, great service and very nice hostess and manager!! Loved the art work and the whole book written on the wall and ceilings! Delicious octopus appetizer and salmon main course!!!
Food was good, but environment was too loud...
Very good !! One of my favorite places to eat !!
My family and I enjoyed ourselves for Easter brunch. The food was excellent and the staff were great! I will return very soon with friends!
Eat at 5Church for Easter Brunch / my wife's birthday. The food was great, and the service was excellent. Even though the patio wasn't open (Easter Brunch) we hung out there after we ate. Definitely a spot to have "Social Hour".
This was my first time here for Easter Bunch and it was very loud and the tables were tight together hard to get out of your seat without bumping the table next to you. The service was ok, I think I would go back for lunch but not for a brunch. The food was ok, nothing that I would say I would go back to eat. I would try it one more time when it is not a holiday, and order from the regular menu.
We did not get to try the full menu, because we went to East Sunday Brunch. However, the brunch was very good a with attentive service for drinks. The ambiance was modern and the wait staff, hostesses and Valet's were very nice.
The Easter Buffet was plentiful, but the food, almost all of it, lacked seasoning. I might try eating there another time when we can just order off the menu, and when they aren't trying to prepare such large quantities of food.
I, along with 7 of my Girlfriends had Brunch for my Birthday at 5 Church and it was a Great Experience! Beautiful and Live scenery inside the restaurant. Very Neat and Spacious. Friendly and helpful staff. Waitress were very Good! Enjoyed my Experience. Looking to come back again
5Church is my new favorite place to visit in Atlanta!! The food is amazing, the vibe is great, and Chef Innis is always so professional!! It also doesn't hurt that he's easy on the eyes!!! I will drive all the from Nashville for those chicken and waffles ANY TIME!!
I made a reservation and there were no tables available when I arrived, ON TIME! I ended up sitting at the bar with my guest until they came to grab us for an open table. Once we were seated a “training” server greeted us and told us that she was waiting on the server she was shadowing. Maybe 15 minutes go by and nothing. Another server came and said “I’ll just go ahead and take care of you guys”.
Food was delish! There were no apologies. Maybe they shouldn’t overbook. It’s not like Delta and you get a free voucher.
Food was ok. Steaks were a temperate more done than we asked for. Similar price to much better steak places in Atlanta. But amazing cocktails. Great place for a drink before a show at Alliance theater. For the price, I would only recommend the apps.
I don't consider myself a drinker by no means, but, they really need to do better with cocktails. Food was mediocre and the ambiance was decent. Will I return? I don't know....
As usual the service was outstanding and the food excellent. It was a birthday and they went out of their way to make it special
We enjoyed our dinner. Great drinks. Needs a better by the glass wine selection. Excellent steak!!
I had a 1:00 reservation and still had to wait 30 min. Well worth the wait.
Awesome experience today! Food was great and vibe was very infectious. You can tell everyone loves the space. An amazing weekly brunch location.
Great food and ambiance! Would highly recommend this place for any occasion.
Fun spot for a group.
This was a great surprise. We just picked it off the open table list and the food was superior. I would definitely come back to this place when we visit Atlanta
Great spot for pre/post theatre or Symphony. 2 min walk to woodruff arts ctr. Good service, good food, we had beef carpaccio and lamb burger with Mac n cheese...delicious! Highly recommend. Will visit again.
I've eaten here a few times and the food is excellent. The steaks are perfectly cooked to order, the seafood is fresh and delicious, the halibut and scallops with the Asian influences were exceptional.
We used this convenient location for our business meal celebration (for a recent project completion) due to previous good experiences by others. The service was quick and polite and the food was quite good. The meal was also completed well within our lunch hour. thanks.
This was a fun place to eat at . While overall the experience was fun and laid back, I had to send my steak back when it came to me well done instead of medium rare. The second time around it was cooked medium rare, yet tasted off. As an appetizer I ordered the beet salad, which needed something to balance the acidity and saltiness of the beets. Desert was okay. Overall, it was a fun experience. The server was fun and atmosphere lively.
The restaurant is located in Colony Square and we had a hard time finding the restaurant as Colony Square is under construction. We did find that there is valet parking available on Peachtree St and the restaurant also validates your parking, so either way you car is handled.
The restaurant has a very unusual decor, not sure how to describe it but it is certainly modern.
The food and service we very good. We had a bottle of the Malbec wine from Argentina along with the cheese and meat plate. We cleaned the cutting board. The restaurant also provide a great hummus dip with crisp bread.
Dinner was the house special lamb burger and the short ribs. Both were excellent. We finished the meal with the chocolate candy bar desert and coffee. Altogether a great meal.
I love the food here! Chef Scotley is everything and normally the service is amazing. I tried making a phone reservation but was told by Dan we needed to be there. So I went to Open Table and made it with no problem, especially since we got there I’m 5 minutes. The reservation was for 2 at 1:45 today. It’s almost 2 and we succumbed to sitting at the bar. Again, what was the point of the reservation? Aside from this Customer Service issue, I do love the place but would be remised not to actually mention this. One waitress later cam e to check on us, she was super empathetic.
Dan, one of the managers, came over and was very sympathetic toward our complaint and was sincerely apologetic. That meant a lot. Again, the food is always amazing and now I see that the staff is just as amazing. Thank you Dan. Also, bartender Jonathan: awesome!
This was a great Sunday brunch experience. Kevin our waiter was very attentive. Food was delicious but only one of my poached eggs was cooked thoroughly. Drinks are awesome!! Will definitely return.
