Phenomenal server and great drink recommendations
Loved the Virtue bar upstairs and the restaurant downstairs. Waitress was awesome as was the food. It does get a little loud which makes it a bit hard to hear to everyone talking at your table. Only issue we had was that one person in our party ordered the pork chops which we were then told they didn't have. He switched to the scallops (which I had and they were AWESOME) but they arrived so late the rest of the group had already finished eating. The Holy Water Drink was also amazing!!
Loved everything. Our server was so knowledgeable. I wish she was more attentive however my party was late.
Great food and service. I placed a reservation for brunch and everything flowed smoothly from the moment my family was seated. Our food arrived quickly.
The service & food was very good but the noise level took away from the ambience and romance. No privacy of conversation or individuality of parties. Noise pads would definitely help balance out the sound.
Half a great time celebrating an early Father's Day brunch with my hubby and daughters. The service was excellent and the food was great.
The food is great but if you have a large party be ready to be nickeled and dimed. They will not separate the check which is not written in their plethora of rules and then if you bring your own cake they will charge a $25 cake fee to cut your cake and put a $5 sparkler on it. I would never do a group event there again but would for just a normal dinner with my husband.
Janice was our server and she was great! We enjoyed the atmosphere and carafe of mimosa! Would definitely go back.
The food was decent the portions were small for the price.
Meh. Not memorable.
Very slow service by kitchen
Great service, halibut was excellent!
Great service, love the vibe, very good food
We came a little early and had to wait an hour to have drinks. I think what was odd was that no one was in the restaurant at the time we arrived and the staff was adamant that all party members had to arrive. The food was okay; nothing to write a spectacular review about and not enough for the prices. Parking was supposed to be comped, but I wound up paying $22 when I left the parking deck anyway. Our server was nice. That's probably the one thing I could say was generally positive.
Took my Fiancée here on a Saturday night for a dinner date. The ambiance was nice, our server was really nice. Although the setting was nice, my experience was not that great. Especially not for the money spent. Our date night ended up being more of an expensive take out night. We ordered the Artisan appetizer which was good, and we did get to enjoy at the restaurant, and the drinks were good, especially the viper. The problem was we didn't get to enjoy our entrées, we ordered the cowboy steak and the filet mignon. Our order was put in maybe 10:15, ended up getting our food after closing time, at about 11:15. Server, and manager both were apologetic Manager offered me 20% off of "next visit," which I'm not sure will be a thing, as I was dissapointed with my first experience. $300+, to get dressed, drive into the city, only to end up eating at home. The cherry on top was not having everything I paid for in the bag once I got home. I won't grade the food, as I didn't get to experience it fresh out of the kitchen, it was still decent once I got home, and I don't want my disappointment with the experience to taint my critique of the food. They were out of several drink and sauce options, which I don't find to be totally unreasonable for post 9pm on a busy Saturday night, but since this is a review, I thought it worth making mention. I Want to be clear, both the server and Manager were very apologetic and both very polite, but the value of the dinner did not live up to the associated cost. And a coupon (20% off next visit) doesn't add value to the experience that I was currently having while still in the restaurant, we had drink glasses on our table, something as simple as offering drinks on the house, which would have added value to the experience, would have been better than handing me a coupon.
I have to 5Church before and it was very nice. This was not anything like that. There were 5 of us that went for my birthday and we were very disappointed. We had to send 3 dishes back because they were not good at all. Our waiter couldn’t pronounce things like cayenne pepper or caramelized. We asked for tajin for our drinks and we purposely brought us smoked paprika because he said he couldn’t find it. We had to keep asking for our food after having our drinks for over an hour. There were so many things that were wrong with this birthday dinner. I won’t be going back.
Great food, great view, great service!!!
Good was great but service was horrible. Bartender had an attitude and totally disrespectful
My new favorite restaurant! Perfect for date night to a swanky restaurant full of beautiful people, but not so high brow that you'd feel bad if you had to bring the kids. Everything we ordered was on point... scallops, steak, octopus, drinks.
Service and food were fantastic as usual. My only recommendation is that when someone orders a salad, it should be served before the meal arrives, and not served with the meal.
We had a great time for brunch and the environment was wonderful. Tyler our server was absolutely great and didn't steer us wrong in any choice.
The food was a disappointment. Very under seasoned The restaurant is too loud The server was great but they need additional staff to support.
We live near the restaurant. Pre-Covid, we went every week or two and were really looking forward to returning. The service, especially the managers on the floor, always made sure we had a great experience. Not this time. I had a couple of bites of my entree and asked for salt. The server brought a combo salt shaker/pepper grinder. When I salted my food, the peppercorns fell out and the salt did not. Our server was lovely and apologetic. I did not want to pick the peppercorns out of my food and instead suggested that if they’d take half off the entree, that would be fine. I did not continue eating but had a bite of my partner’s lamb burger. That burger was supposed to be medium; it was rare.
The reason we won’t be returning, however, is not because of the food or table service. It’s the management. I watched our server take the faulty salt/pepper to the manager. He never approached our table or any other table. He stood in the middle of the the floor chatting with someone. Our server said the manager had “agreed” to take half off my entree. I didn’t realize I was negotiating. And then we also realized that a top shelf martini was $20. We tipped generously and left.
I know things are shaky as we all start to return to social settings. A few glitches are to be expected. But a manger should be experienced enough to do their job, especially when we all know those glitches are coming.
Had an excellent dinner! Our server, Guillermo was great and so was the food!
The place nice, food was amazing & I had a really good time.
Food was amazing, Great location! Would recommend...
Restaurant was hot, the service was subpar.
Both of our steaks were over cooked. No pink at all - both of us ordered medium rare.
Food was good and service too
The restaurant is nicely decorated but the A/C seemed to be broken or not on. Food lacked taste and the drinks were just okay. It’s a bit pretentious for the food and drinks it offers. Service was good except the server made it seem like they only offered bottled water although that wasn’t the case.
Great Atmosphere, wish waiter was more attentive.
Open space, great food.
Went to 5Church for a Business Lunch mid week and highly recommend the steak salad!
Getting together with family
Great! Amazing bartender! Our server was ok; it seemed she was busy.
Our first visit to 5church was amazing!
Our Bartender Esteban
and our Server Max were both incredible!!!!
Food was bland and service was not good at all. The place was not too busy and it took forever to get our food.
The place is beautiful but the food is overpriced.
Food was mostly good, but the chicken was somewhat dry & overly tough. Value not ideal as entrees are indeed $$$ but not outstanding.
Food was great. I recommend the chicken and waffles. Atmosphere was live
