   Mint 54 has been a favorite for our family since 2010. It is where are family has always gathered together when in SF. The food, the hospitality, the ambience is truly dining. It is where my daughter and her Italian husband told us and his parents, they were engaged. It was a shining star for takeaway during the Pandemic.. This trip was for a special food event. We had hoped for more explanation and the food was not quite to their regular wonderful standard - but it was also their first attempt. We look forward to future dinners and wonderful events.

   Portions were small. Tables were wood with uncomfortable chairs. Bathrooms were not stocked. My pasta was tasty but came out not hot. Wait staff & service was good.

   Delicious Italian cuisine. We dined here for Easter Brunch. The salad was perfectly dressed. The artichoke arancini were scrumptious. The lamb meatballs were tender and very flavorful. And the roasted lamb was succulent and fall apart tender.

   After an underwhelming Valentine’s Day experience, the 54 Mint team reached out to me offering a gift card and we decided to return and give them another chance. It seemed like we were at a different restaurant this time. Our server Jacob was lovely, attentive and cheerful. The gnocchi w ragu was a delicious appetizer and we thoroughly enjoyed the Roasted chicken and lamb chop entrees. Kudos to the Mint team for making up for a previous negative experience, and we will be back!

   Worth visiting SOMA just for this experience. It's all about the cuisine. Exceptional and creative menu delivered in in the most pleasing way, Great wine list. The knowledgeable and helpful team to make this the perfect oasis to indulge every palate.

    We went to support a neighborhood restaurant and enjoyed the Restaurant Week prize fixe menu. Warm, welcoming, efficient service, lovely space that had a buzz but was quiet enough for conversation, and food that was a cut above what we expected. Beautifully prepared and presented central Italian dishes. We will certainly be back!
