We reserved a table at 7pm and the piano players started at 8pm and we left at 930pm. Their housemade pretzels were delicious but my husband didnt like the fries. The players were very talented and made dinner entertaining. I wouldn't call this a dueling piano show but just singers playing your song requests.
Its a fun place, Groupon I revived was not the one I paid for, no drinks, no apps, only 40 off food... We went on anyhow just to listen to music and relax, have a fun night, the musician's were playful and fun, they also shamelessly begged for money THE ENTIRE TIME, it was extremely off putting, I've been there before, it was a lot of fun, I'll go back, ill also skip the Groupon. Not worth it at all
A piano players beg for money all nighr long would a turn off
My first impression was not real positive, when two of the three stalls had no toilet paper (and, ahem, liftoff had already occurred), but things improved vastly from there. Friendly, if a tiny bit slow service, excellent food and fun entertainment made for a very nice evening. I would definitely return.
Great service and so entertaining! We loved every minute from our server to the entertainment.
Loved the entertainment, could have used the music to be a little quieter though. Food was great, service was excellent. Fun show that got us involved and was funny. We will be back
Very disappointed. No live music on a Sunday
Too crowded and too noisy. The entertainment was ok, could have been better
Update 7/8/2019. I have reached out to the restaurant again, via their website... No response from Management. Stay clear of this restaurant as well as their sister restaurant in Novi called The 5th Novi on Novi Rd. Update: 6/27. I have shared my initial review from my visit 6/15 with restaurant management. I have gotten no response. I do not recommend this restaurant. Initial review: The food was good. Our 2nd waitress was fantastic. (Initial table waitress was terrible) Overall I was completely disappointed...an automatic tip was included on our bill As well as I tipped 20%... So, the waitress made a 40% tip. This does not seem to be a very ethical business practice for a bar and grill with low lighting.
This place is great! The food was amazing! The service was phenomenal! The price point was good. The entertainment was music to our ears! The only advice I have is to bring cash because apparently the establishment does not pay the talent so the entertainment only plays songs for cash or venmo. While the musicians were talented the constant badgering for money was less than entertaining and annoying along with being a distraction from the music.
food terrible my opinion, drinks were tasty, waitress never ever came back with change. Overall it was very lively. I love this place awesome! I would go back every week if I could. love it. Young, middle age folk all in the same place having a great time.
We purchased on a Groupon to try the experience and were glad we did. We had to buy the drinks, as they were not part of the deal, however we did not even consume half of one and a few sips of the other. Awful. The service was good. No entertainment displayed though. One other table showed up while we were there and the wait staff let them and their two toddlers sit right behind us. May I mention again that no one was in the restaurant but our table when they showed. Overall disappointment. I have heard good things about the place so I am hoping our experience was a fluke.
Nice place to enjoy music and ambiance with friends.
The piano players were excellent & funny & the drummer was awesome! They got the crowd laughing & singing & there was never a dull moment.
Our waiter was great & funny and the food was good!
Exceptional fun for any occasion! Get there before 7:30pm so you don't have to pay a cover charge
Nice place thang out & have fun.
Yes, the entertainment was good. But would not recommend anyone eat there. Although our appetizers were good, our dinners were not.
We came for dinner for my birthday. The waitress was great and we had a lot of fun. Love the booze bucket..we had two!!
If you are looking for a fun night out and enjoy piano bars / dueling pianos, you should check this place out! We went for Mother's Day brunch and I have to say the food was a huge disappointment, especially for what they were charging. The redeeming qualities were the service and the entertainment.
It was WAY too loud! Actually earsplitting! The music could have come down several decibels & still have been loud. The food was cold, of poor quality & offered few choices. Paper plates & plastic silverware! Really? A total rip off for $27.00 buffet. Did not even include a Mimosa for Mother's Day brunch. In all, a very unpleasant experience!
We went for the Mothers’Day Brunch, so the crowd was a bit on the mellow side. Our reservations were originally for 2:30, but I received. Phone call from the establishment encouraging me to come earlier. Unfortunately, we moved out rear aviation up to 1:00. It was very crowded. The lines were long, which is difficult for my father who uses a cane. There really should have been an additional person cooking the omelets. The wait was ridiculous. Your other food got cold as you waited. I sat down and came back later, but it was still a long wait. I missed several songs that I liked. Since it was a buffet, the server didn’t come around often. It was just an okay experience overall,
Charles was one of the best bar managers I've seen. He spent the entire night on the bar floor checking with everyone to be sure they were happy. Pianists were great. Had a great night!
Fish tacos were good but difficult to eat. They were on a tiny soft shell and piled high with the fish and salsa. You need to eat half the filling with a fork in order to finally eat the taco shell folded over. It would make more sense to use a larger tortilla shell. It tasted good but was awkward to eat. Blue margarita was excellent.
Great place, awesome that we had our table waiting for us as I made a quick online reservation.. no waiting for a table, I would recommend reservation!! You can pick your arrival time. Fun two dudes on the pianos and a drummer, interactive, would highly recommend
I had a fantastic time and I hope they do another Game of Thrones trivia night lol
Thank goodness for the duelling pianos, the absolute only reason we stayed, everything else: food, drink, service, was either sub or barely par.
I read the reviews and took a leap of faith since I live in Royal Oak. I expected the crowd noise since I have been to piano bars before. The sound quality from the pianos was terrible and the singers were screaming the lyrics. The musician were fair on a skill level. So it was just fair.
The food quality needs some work. Get some skill in the kitchen. The best item was the chicken bacon ranch flatbread. The fish and chips were super skimpy and tasted like gortons frozen stix.
One visit and gone.
Tacos were not that great. Drinks were expensive and watered down.
Fun place! But if you want to converse with the people you're with, maybe not the place to go for the evening. We thoroughly enjoyed the entertainment but left after dinner because we were with friends that we hadn't seen in a very long time and had a lot of catching up to do! Food was great....fried pickles, poppers, margherita pizza and bbq chicken flatbread.....wonderful!!! Oh, and the Gallagher Smash was, in a word, smashing!! Definitely recommend for a fun, entertaining night!
We had a great time. Excellent place to go with a group or just with a friend. Food was really good. Entertainers were awesome.
Great place. Even better on piano nights.
Great food, great atmosphere, really fun experience. My wife and I went here on a date night and had a really fun time. Bit pricey, but overall a great experience!
It was fun something different, expensive drinks worth a try tho
Fun place! Great date night!
Kris, Thank you for the 5 star review! Please visit again soon!
We were seated upstairs, the service was lousy, and the food certainly wasn't worth what we paid for it. We have been here before and were seated downstairs and everything about that experience was terrific. Unfortunately we brought friends this time and were really disappointed.
Dueling pianos were great. Food bad. Drinks expensive.
The chef and the food awful. I sent my order back twice and chef never got it right. Last time I’ll spend a dime at this place.
We go there for the entertainment, not the food. Fish & chips overcook, dry & chewy. Pizza was good & the chocolate cake was good also. We had to redo nachos because cook forgot the beef.
Jill, Thank you for the kind 5 star review. We are glad you enjoyed our Pizza and Chocolate Cake dessert. Please visit again so we can get that Fish and Chips right! Thanks again!
It was nothing like what they made it seem... It's a run down bar with two piano's in it! It was a waste of time and money! The menu is small with terrible options and the drinks are watery and over priced!!
We were seated by the door where we couldn’t see the pianists. We couldn’t hear well enough to know that there were two pianists. We didn’t even have a waitress for drinks after fifteen minutes of waiting. Didn’t even stay and use our Groupon.
