Have been here many times, for lunch and dinner. In good weather, the outdoor courtyard is the best. My complaints are the high noise level inside the restaurant, and the tables and chairs are a bit too small. Too many people squeezed into too small a space. This is not a romantic place, or a classic, sophisticated place. I believe it is best suited for a young crowd that likes a lot of action going on around them. It's also a popular lunch venue, mostly for women.

The service was great both in the host and the server. They really took some special needs into consideration without our having to ask. While everyone loved their entrees the appetizers were not very good. The potstickers were just bad with really dry filling and a weird sauce and the focaccia was done as a loaf and was individual slices were toasted and dried out. None of the good texture, flavor and chew of focaccia and the dipping olive oil and balsamic was in a very narrow dish making it impossible to dip, so it couldn't save the dry bread. Will we go again, probably but we will be making different choices.

The setting of this restaurant is very nice. You're seated in an uncrowded area with other guests. If the weather is good, take advantage of the outdoor dining area.

Everything here is an elevated version of more typical food. We have been here three times and loved every dish we had. My salad nicoise was excellent and had blackened tuna. The portion was very generous and I took half home. My husband ghad their hamburger and it was also excellent, he also took half home. I had the cucumber gazpacho which is outstanding and not tomato based. In the past we have gotten the tiger prawn tacos, also above and beyond. Even the turkey burger was presented in their style and excellent. We will definitely be returning.

We really enjoyed the portabella mushroom sandwich, the crispy chicken sandwich, and the turkey burger! It was so delicious and fresh tasting. Each one came with French fries, which were so crispy! The service was great!

501 Local was delicious. We had lunch: butternut squash soup and two appetizers, the lettuce wraps and fresh spring rolls, with two glasses of wine and a birthday comped dessert. Pretty place. We sat inside because it was blustery out, despite the calendar. Want to return and dine outside on the lovely patio. The restaurant was busy with a buzz of conversation, but not noisy. Prices were a bit higher than some lunch spots, but every dish that moved through the dining room looked good.
