I’m really impressed how 5N has evolved. Though always a favorite staple of mine, the menu now includes some really great salad offerings you can make light or hearty, all through customization. Service is friendly, attentive and consistent. Awesome all around
My son and I usually go for brunch/dinner and the food and service is absolutely exceptional!
A VERY POPULAR moderately priced restaurant across the street from the AMC 84th Street and Broadway movies and Books of Wonder and just two blocks from a large Barnes and Noble. Very good non alcoholic mixed drinks. Food is fine and portions are generous. We enjoyed onion rings with two dips, tempura shrimp with green beans and medium rare burger salad. Reservations helpful especially on weekends.
This is the last time I am making a reservation here! It is a neighborhood restaurant that is always understaffed and the service stinks! My waitress said the drinks took 29 minutes bc the bar was slammed at 6 on a Friday and they forgot my kids drinks! We would of ordered at least 3 cocktails and only got one! Then at a burger place we asked for condiments which never came! When I told the waitress she got mad at us and slammed the bill down! Too many great restaurants on UWS
Our server, Brittany S, did an outstanding job and she helped make our son’s birthday ex
One of the best quality burgers in the city, great beer selecting, very kid friendly, lively. Slightly overpriced. It has become our go to when we feel like a good burger.
Exelente comida. Exelente ambiente, ideal para ir con toda la familia o con tu pareja en una cita espacial
Service has gotten much better!!
Been there many times Breslau good burgers
The burgers were outstanding! It's hard to give a burger joint 5 stars, but they were really really good. Pleasant place; big, loud, fun. If I ate more burgers, I'd return more often than I do.
Overall great as were the burgers. Service was slow and milk shake almost didn’t make it even after reminding the servicer 4 times. Would absolutely recommend.
It was very busy, hostess had trouble keeping up and the waiter was overwhelmed but the food came fast and was good
Our server (Christophe P) was not very attentive. Our glasses were empty and still were not refilled until we asked. The table behind us was also having an issue with getting the servers attention on more than one instance. We had our heart set on dessert but since the experience with the server wasn’t going well, we changed our minds (nor did he ask or offer dessert) as we didn’t want to wait on him. We had to even ask for our own bill for payment. The food was delicious.
It was an all around great lunch, but we were seated next to kids who were noisy... but it could have been because my friend got there a early and thought she saw me so sat down at the empty table right next to her! I requested a booth in my res request. I did check in when I got there, but after first sitting down.
The waiter was completely charming, but we had to ask to have the table cleaned after waiting too long. Will always go back though.
Love the restaurant.
This is a great casual venue for a good meal before a movie (one of the most comfy movie theater in NYC is right across the street!). They serve a great burger, plus offer some other options, including a burger salad and sushi. We very much enjoyed the chili cheese fries--with the chili on the side--and the onion ring tower!
On the corner of Broadway and 84th St is 5 Napkin Burger. When I saw the name of this restaurant, I knew we had to try it. What a fun spot for lunch this was. We made a reservation on Open Table, requested a quiet table, and were so pleased that they honored our request. We were warmly greeted and seated. Fred, our server, was so friendly and helpful. This was one of the most reasonably priced meals we have had in Manhattan!
We both had burgers and they were fabulous. The burgers are 10 oz. Angus beef burgers served on a potato roll. I enjoyed the 5 Napkin Burger – all natural beef with imported Gruyere cheese, caramelized onions with a rosemary & garlic aioli - oh my, it was so good. My husband savored his Bacon Cheddar Burger (he asked for the lettuce and tomato on the side). The burgers were cooked to our specifications – medium rare. We ordered the signature, hand-cut fries – they were crisp and fresh.
What was really nice about our server was when I asked if he would change the channel on the TV so that we could view “The Chew,” which he did. Now that is what I call accommodating your customer! We highly recommend 5 Napkin Burger.
Great burgers! Especially the Avocado Ranch Burger!
Delish,. Classic 5 Napkin burger. Caramelized onions heaven.
Disappointed that at 6:15 they had no multigrain rolls. Awfully early to not have my roll choice.
5 Napkin is consistently one of the best burgers in the country. Hot Fudge brownie is excellent.
It was really busy (as always), but the food was good and they found us a nice table
Made a reservation to be sure our party of 5 did not get jammed onto a 4 top table - upon arrival the hostess seemed confused about our reservation and we ended up with a 4 top and a chair in the main traffic pattern in and out of the kitchen ... the exact scenario I was trying to avoid. The food was great and our server was excellent - the situation seating was extremely uncomfortable and detracted from my experience.
The truffle burger was beyond good! Worth the price! Went for my birthday right before the movies.
Always a great burger. But we're upset there are no more cheese tots on the menu.
Why don't you bring them back? That was a bad decision.
This is one of our local neighborhood standbys. The service is usually pretty good but can be spotty at times. Staff is always very pleasant. Food is very good and prices are reasonable for New York City ($14 for their special burgers, with no sides.)
Food was mediocre. Tough burgers. Service was good.
Service was very bad. We didn't get all our food at the same time, had to wait for a couple of sides that arrived after we'd almost finished. That would have been ok but the server wasn't apologetic and acted like we were being annoying for asking about the food.
Service was fast and the food was unbelievably good. Burgers and fries were the best from my trip. And the s'mores shake is delicious.
We’ve eaten there over 240 visits. Kinda says it all, eh?
We had a great dinner highlighted by the impossible burger. It was so delicious, hard to believe it wasn’t meat. Out waiter was excellent, attentive and easy going.
Great attentive service and burger was easily ten napkins!
Burgers were delicious, fries - especially sweet potato, were great. Comfortable space, good options, very friendly service.
Food was just ok. There are better burgers. Service was not good - slow and the waiter barely spoke. This is good for a quick bite I guess but certainly not for an evening meal.
The burgers and fries were great, as usual. My son said his beer was a little flat. The service was good, not spectacular, but the wait staff took care of business. There was no rush to surrender the table even though business was brisk. It's a little loud, but not like it drowns out conversation. But it is not the place you go for quiet, intimacy. Good for a father and son catch-up.
Very nice meal and super kid friendly. Burger were exclllent.
Good for what it's worth. Menu should offer more variety. Felt like everything was a burger.
I went to 5napkin burger on a date. WE both really liked burgers in general so 5napkin burger was a great spot for us. I really enjoyed their signature burger, 5napkin burger, and the shrimp tempura.
Great food and atmosphere. Service was excellent. Great value
Love this place. Great for a casual brunch.
The servers were very friendly and smily all the time. Burger was very juicy. We would love to go back again for the burgers and maybe try their milkshakes. Table next to us order milkshakes that look super delicious. In addition, very convenient for couples to go for a date. AMC movie theater is right across 5 Napkins Burger.
