Beautiful food, lovely wine, and good service! Be back as soon as this lockdown is lifted!
Service was great as was some of the food.
The letdown was the taste of the fries and the halloumi - barely distinguishable from each other. I suspect the cooking oil wasn't fresh.
The bread for the bruschetta was twice as thick as it needed to be and too soft, which took away from the flavour of the topping.
Our wine choice was very tasty.
It was our 2nd visit in the last couple of months and again it did not disapoint. The creme brulee was especially good.
Food was amazing and the service was great. First time customer but will definetly be back. Great atmosphere inside too.
Unfortunately all of our main courses were awful. They were all over £20 so I’m glad they didn’t charge us for them! We were the only people in the restaurant so there wasn’t much of an atmosphere.
quiet for a Sat afternoon but not a surprise during Covid times. The service was great and food also. The background music was great, overall a lovely afternoon and would happily return
Had the roast dinner and it was absolutely 10/10 beautiful. It is now a Thursday and I am still thinking about that roast from Sunday. The sauce was everything! Staff were so lovely and polite. I will be back!
Really great atmosphere and beautiful setting and decor. The salt and chilli scampi was delicious and well presented but portion was very small. Mains selection was limited, probably due to Covid restrictions but we all had pizza and it was beautiful. The staff were so lovely and social restrictions were well in place and adhered to. We will definitely be back
Tapas and bread starters good.
Lamb dish very poor value.although flavour good portion of meat ebbesml.
Potato fondant hard and no seasoning.
Monkfish cooked ok but swimming in sauce.very disappointing.
Wont rush back!
Booked at very short notice on Friday evening. We arrived a bit early and were allowed to go ahead and proceed to our table without having to wait. The meal was delicious small plates to start and then the lamb. Service was really friendly and helpful. Lovely surprise with the bill too in comparison to another city centre restaurant where we ate a few weeks before. We will definitely be back! 5 stars !
From the minute we arrived it was a pleasant, the waitress was so lovely and made the worry of the pandemic a distant memory for the hour and a bit we were there! The wine was delightful and food was fantastic! We will definitely go back soon!
Very good experience overall, great food, lovely wine, very French in every way. Thoroughly enjoyable afternoon
Very good food at a very reasonable price. Restaurant was very quiet but was a Wednesday evening.
Best Sunday Roast We ever had, nice setting great area.
Great meal and fantastic service.
Lovely starters and tapas, friendly and helpfully staff and good value for money
Felt safe from the outset. Plenty to choose from including some good sharing plates. Enjoyed our meal
Food was delicious, we had the tapas and there was a good selection. Our waitress was attentive without being overbearing, she was able to recognise when we needed help. It was a really good atmosphere whilst also making you feel comfortable, with all the precautions they had in place working seamless and not getting in the way of having a good meal.
As always fab food and service. Would highly recommend this restaurant.
The atmosphere was good and the staff were very friendly, but the service was quite poor. We had to wait a very long time for all the drinks we ordered (we had to promote the waitress / waiter twice for each order).
Had a lovely lunch and a few gins.Staff very friendly and efficient. Duck breast and lamb cooked as requested.Unfortunately due to Covid the restaurant was very quiet. That did not affect our very enjoyable experience. It just reminded us we all need to get out more and support these really good restaurants
I had a roast dinner and I had 1 carrot on my plate, portions were very small, disappointing
Excellent meal! Will definitely be back!
Thanks for everything!
Service wasn't great but food and drinks were good. Staff were slow to take order although we were only 1 of 2 tables. Seemed no arsed, but despite poor service food was tasty and cocktails are worth the wait
Very welcoming, good food and great service. No complaints
Excellent food and great service. Will definitely be back.
Great night and great staff. We were served by Colleen, she was great and made the night. Would be back again
The food was great, the ambience was fantastically relaxing and overall it was a nice dining experience and good value for money
Left this place still hungry . Main meal was small and meat was tough and chewy .. ordered pie of the day for desert which came out like a soggy pancake ,me or my partner could not eat it .. actually went to McDonald's after ,place was very loud with people shouting over each other .
Very overpriced fir very average food. One starter- squid- came with 2/3 minute pieces!!!
Ordered monkfish...size not much bigger than starter..£23...was cold when it arrived to the table
Excellent customer service and wonderful French food. It was noisy on the night we were there with two large parties. I will be a returning customer and have already decided on what I would like to try next.
Fantastic food, great service & lovely atmosphere!
Food delicious and well presented, portions could have been a bit bigger for the price in main course.Service excellent with friendly and knowledgeable staff. Eat outside scheme was great. Nice relaxed surroundings and ambience.
Tapas were OK. The portions were not amazing & the pork was OK. The halloumi was the best of the 3.
The Chicken Chorizo burger was tasty & the sweet potato fries were good too.
The monkfish portion was very small for the price (albeit 50% off).
From the moment we walked in the experience was outstanding. The staff were very friendly and couldn’t do enough for us. The food & drink was excellent and the atmosphere in the restaurant was incredible. I would definitely recommend to anyone.
Lovely atmosphere and service
Had a very nice meal which was the lunchtime special steak and fries. Steak was cooked perfectly.
Hi we booked a table for 5 we ordered drinks ur starters all was perfect but after the starters Main comes we ordered their special 1kg meat for 65£ which looked nice but was cold they took it away after literally 3min they bring it back from outside seem hot inside cold after that we just told them we dont want it anymore it was really bad experience nobody even apologize nothing we payed the bill and left.....
We ordered double of everything on the tapas menu and it was all so delicious. Portions sizes were great as were the cocktails.
Food and service were excellent in a good atmosphere.
