We chose to eat here for my birthday dinner. We were NOT disappointed. The ambiance was wonderful and the food was spectacular. Our server Cameron was very attentive and helped me decide between entrees I was debating over and it was a wonderful choice. We will definitely go there again.

This was our first time at this restaurant. We went to celebrate our anniversary. We were greeted at the door by our server. We were then seated at a nice booth off to the side. The first thing I noticed was the jazz standard being piped in. Nice. After that it was acoustic guitar covers of sixties and seventies pop. All at a pleasant volume. Our server offered warm lemon water, which my wife accepted. After hearing the specials we ordered a bottle of wine. My wife had the French onion soup, and the Braised Beef tips, (special). I had a small house salad, and the NY strip with crumbled blue cheese on the side. Both meals were delicious including the sides of deep fried Brussels sprouts with a balsamic glaze for dipping, along with a coarse mashed baked potato. The service was excellent. We will definitely be returning in the future. We highly recommend giving this restaurant a try. For dessert we had the pumpkin praline cheesecake on a plate decorated for our Anniversary. The attention to detail was very evident.

A wonderful experience! From the service to the food, everything was 5 stars. Highly recommend the lobster Mac and cheese, the ribeye steak and salted caramel cheesecake! For a family of 3, our bill was $175…. A splurge but we were celebrating ♥️

Impressive! The best meat we've had in the US so far. Impeccable service, Chinese food with great seasoning. We will definitely be back. We ordered a deconstructed beef wellington and a fish with quinoa. Both delicious! The place is beautiful and perfect for special thanksgivings.

This was our second time at 42nd Street Bar and Grill. The food is delicious. The Beef and Mushroom Wellington was excellent, the steak was cooked exactly as ordered. Our friend had Lobster Mac and Cheese, wow! The service is impeccable. The atmosphere is inviting. Cameron was our server. He was delightful. He's one of the best waiters we've had since moving to SC, 3 years ago. I highly recommend it. I'll be back again! ☆☆☆☆☆

A rare culinary treat in Myrtle Beach. Coming from Atlanta we have been in search of someplace offering great ambience matched with splendid cuisine. We just found it. Kudos to the chef and to the serving staff.

We arrived at 5:30, we were immediately welcomed and seated. Jayson our server quickly came over and greeted us and even wished my wife a happy birthday. He took our drink orders while we looked over the food menu. Rights after the drinks were brought we received a delicious flat bread . Our appetizers of the night were oyster Rockefeller and Arancini , so delicious. Our meals were a NY strip and a seafood pasta, both full of flavor. A wonderful night to celebrate!

42nd Street Bar & Grill is at the top of the 6 we deem "our favorites." Both my husband and I each chose to have our birthday celebrations w. friends there & we always take our houseguests there. I literally dream of their beet salad & my husband swoons over the grilled oyster app. He's delighted when the succulent shortribs are on offer as a "special," but everything we've ordered on countless visits has been luscious and beautifully presented. The cocktails are well mixed (e.g. a superb Negroni) and most of all, the staff is welcoming, attentive and gracious.

This place is a hidden gem. Unassuming from the outside but beautiful setting inside and the food was awesome. Never saw any of the staff standing still. They were working like a well oiled machine. I would recommend the restaurant to anyone.

We absolutely love this place! Every time we are in town we make it a point to have a meal here. The ambiance is lovely, and the food is exceptional, especially for the price. We almost feel like we are getting a steal. I had the Ahi Tuna Tataki and Beets Tartar, my fiancé had the Filet with Black Truffle Butter, and our friend had Oysters Rockefeller and Sweet Pepper Kabob. The presentation was beautiful, and we were all extremely pleased with the taste and quality of food. 5 Stars With all of those dishes ordered, our bill only came out to just over $100. W We will be back again!!!

The wait staff were very inviting and friendly. Also the food was amazing. We had the braised beef which was the special that night and it was magnificent. Additionally, we ordered dessert and they both were so delicious. What a great place to eat, drink, and be merry.
