I'm a sucker for a good vinaigrette and the salad was my idea of perfect. The fried chicken with hot honey, macaroni and cheese and collard greens was fantastic! Very nice bottle of wine took the meal over the top! Great dinner out. My compliments to the chef and everyone else involved in making a wonderful night out!

This was our first time dining here. We will not be back. While the tuna tartar appetizer was very good, as well as the steaks, unfortunately we added the South African lobsters to make it surf and turf. They are $89 each which we are fine paying IF they come out as expected. South African Lobster tails should be like butter when you cut into them and have a sweet flavor. These were so tough we could not cut them with steak knives. They tasted like run of the mill lobster you would find at any grocery store. When we made the staff aware, their idea of making things right was to offer a “ free desert” which I was getting anyway because it was my birthday. Our waiter also then had a total attitude change and ignored us. The lobster should have been taken off the bill as any other reputable restaurant would have done especially since we did not eat them. I would never recommend this establishment and they should be embarrassed for such bad business. So disappointed. Do not waste your money.

Everything start to finish was amazing! I’m rarely at a place where the appetizers through to the entree is mouth watering good, but 401 Prime nailed it! The service was excellent from the second we walked in and spoke with the host, the bartender while we waited for our table, and our server when we sat down. Amazing all around!

Our waiter Steven was amazing. The food was beyond amazing. The drinks were amazing. Definitely will be going back. If I had to say something not positive… It would be they have ridiculous prices on some premium bourbon… to the tune of four times what I’ve paid for the same bourbon before and other places within a 90 minute drive. In all fairness, the regular drinks were priced appropriately.

Food was exceptional. We tried 6 different entrees and each one was amazing. Our server was attentive and helpful. A perfect place for any special celebration.

Best place to celebrate a birthday!! The hostess begins with birthday wishes, then the waiter, the menu is personalized with the celebrants name!! Dessert is quite the fireworks!! Our waiter Andrew was very attentive, made good recommendations, he was very invested in our dinning experience. Service was top notch whoever was attending to our meal. An evening at 401 Prime is worth the extra cost for an evening out!

For the price disappointing. The meal started off very well, the soups my wife and son had were very enjoyable, lobster bisque and corn chowder, my wedge salad was very tasty. My son's 9 oz filet was very good per him and my wife had the prime rib which was very good and more than she could eat in a seating. My 4 oz wagyu strip was not enjoyable. It was 1/4th gristle and fat. My baked potato was cool when it came out that the butter didn't melt all the way. The carrots my wife ordered were not that enjoyable, but my son loved his bacon Mac and cheese. Desserts were very good, cheesecake with mango/pineapple, chocolate torte and the creme brulee. Our bottle of Pinot noir wine was ok. While they have a very impressive wine selection, I was out priced by most of the bottles. As someone that collects bottles of wine in the $300 to $400 range spending 3 or 4 times that at a restaurant for the same bottles is beyond me. We waited on our check for many minutes as our server had a conversation with another table that didn't seem to deal with restaurant duties. Our bill was almost $600 with tip $700. At those prices I expect a little more. We will probably give them a second chance but I will stay away from waygu.

The beef carpaccio was absolutely fantastic. The lobster bisque and shrimp cocktail very good. The carrots were flavorless and overcooked and we sent them back. The mac n cheese and corn were very good, the potatoes au gratin dry and didn't have enough cream sauce. The seared scallops were outstanding and the crab cake was the best I have ever eaten. The shortfall was in the main attraction, the steaks. We had ribeyes and ribcaps. The ribcap was the worst I've ever had and not tender at all. All steaks were terribly salty and very crusty, which I usually like, but these were near burned. All was overpriced and we won't be back.

The restaurant was pretty, clean, & being sat in the back room was a really nice ambiance. It was darker & quiet. Everything my husband & I had was amazing. Our waitress was friendly, helpful, & professional. The wasabi Caesar was the best twist on a Caesar salad - delicious. They put a sparkler in my husband's dessert along with an edible chocolate happy birthday sign, in addition to the "happy birthday" with his name at the top of our menus. Really nice touches.
