Harder to find parking now that Pittsburgh has blocked off parking along north ave. We did find some on side street. Great food, but wish there were more gluten free options, although they do have excellent gluten free pasta.

First visit at this restaurant. Wonderful unusual menu. Presentation beautiful. Not at all noisy, like most restaurants. Probably because they didn’t happen to have music that night. We will return.

It was a really nice night for my wife and I. Our server, I believe her name was Ladona, was excellent. The meals were great. This wasn’t our first time in but it was another good dining experience for us.

The food and the service were very good. The cocktails and wine list didn't disappoint. There were a variety of food options for meat eaters and vegetarians alike in our small party. The service was friendly and attentive. What we didn't anticipate was the band, and how loud they would be. Our reservation was at 7:00, and while I knew there would be live music, I didn't know the nature. Not only were they loud, they weren't very good. So it was more like noise than music. For such a small space, I would think music of that nature might be more suitable for later reservations. It doesn't seem that they have live music during the week, so I would love to return and try some of their other menu items when I will be able to hear the person I am eating with.

One server one host one bartender. They were doing their best. Some kind of out there performance by a band/poet/video group. So loud. Not conducive to conversation. Did'nt know there would be a band when I book the table. Served a Caesar salad with mixed greens because they were our of Romain. 6 spinach ravioli for $30. House salad had NOTHING in it other than greens and was way overdressed.

Thank you for taking the time to share your experience with us. I want to sincerely apologize that your recent visit did not meet expectations, and more importantly did not reflect the standard we aim to uphold at Cucina Alfabeto. We recognize and acknowledge that the performance that evening did not align with the ambiance we strive to create for our guests. That's on us and we are actively reassessing how we coordinate with City of Asylum, who own and operate the event space, to ensure future experiences feel more in harmony with the dining environment. I also appreciate your feedback about the menu and can assure you we'll be taking your comments into consideration as we continue refining our offerings. As a gesture of goodwill, I will be issuing a refund for your dinner.

The food and service was great. Keep in mind this is Northern Italian Cuisine. Not a tomato festival. Arancini was very good, served on a mayonnaise base not marinara. My wife had a Filet and it was perfectly cooked and very tender. I had the salmon special served on a chickpea puree and warm spinach. The cocktails were very nice. Wine selection is adequate. Dessert was carrot cake and it was great. Parking is a challenge because of the location. The servers were not very helpful as to where to park. I ended up .15 miles away and it was ultimately no problem. Overall, I would recommend!
