The food and service was excellent. We have no complaints. The price fixed meal was delicious. Our only complaint was that they turned off the misters over our table because someone in management was afraid the tables would get wet. It was over 100 degrees and the humidIty level was under 10%...so we were pretty uncomfortable after they turned the misters off...so much so we rushed through the meal to get back home to AC...too bad...I may have ordered another cocktail.
I would recommend 4 Saints to anyone who wants to have a special dining experience. The food was great, the prices were a bit steep but the views and the service were the best!
The food was very good and fantastic views
The outstanding feature of this restaurant is anbience. It has a gorgeous view of the mountains, so it's worth booking before sunset so that you can enjoy it.
The food is generally good, not great. The octopus appetizer was wonderful --the best dish we ordered.
Service was friendly and accommodating, if not always smooth. The server did a nice job with a birthday request, offering a glass of free bubbly to all and a little chocolate cake for the birthday girl.
Noise level made it impossible for our party of five to have a general conversation. Par for the course these days.
The view from 4 Saints is spectacular and the restaurant's decor is lovely but the food is disappointing.
We were disappointed as other family members were there when originally opened. No dress code, no table cloth, felt like a pub. Waitress was good but too many tables. Food served sporadically. Had to chase wait staff for second bottle of wine. Would not rush back.
Loved the atmosphere, loved the views!
As a once-in-a-lifetime experience. At least, until there is some management to supervise the wait staff so that more attention is paid to diners. Also, many of the outside “view“ tables have the diners’ backs to the view. Also, the tables are small and there are no purse hooks. It is very hard, with the outside tables that are tall with stools, for the stools to slide on the slotted wood deck. A lot of attention needs to be paid to details. The fancy view will only bring people to dinner once. Maybe people might come back to the bar. As noted, above the food (expensive) was good. Good luck.
It was a perfect dinner. Thomas is our usual server and as usual did not disappoint! Michael at the front desk was excellent in arranging a fantastic table outside. The food was extraordinary as always and left a favorable impression on our guests!
Upsetting dinner. Was sat outside in the cold when there were tables available indoors. Server took 15 minutes to get a drink order, and a couple sitting next to us (that was seated AFTER us), was served first. They finished their meal before we even got our first entree.
Ordered the crispy tofu - was the blandest tofu I've ever tasted. Served with some sort of oat concoction with what seemed to be like turkey cranberry sauce.
Half jidori chicken - good skin but over salted chicken, and completely bland potatoes.
Bad wine list. Will not be back .
Food was excellent but overpriced. We were seated outside. It was quieter than inside but still music was blaring. Service was actually excellent. We were very pleased with that.
I would recommend 4Saints to friends with some reservations. They need to know how expensive it is: they can get just as good service and excellent food elsewhere. But it's a fun place to go once a year.
The food was really yummy and our waitress was awesome!
Wine list incorrect. Did not have my first 3 choices
My main course was not what the menu described and was returned as unacceptable
Took 15 minutes for the waiter to come to the table although service did improve and became very helpful
Have been to this place multiple times and this was by far the worst experience
Have never written such a negative review
Only complaint is the food was underwhelming for the restaurant. Very small portions for a steep price, but the service was great and the view was even better.
This was our choice for our classy dinner choice during our week stay in Palm Springs. The roof top location and ambiance did not disappoint. Our server was attentive and humorous and definitely made the evening enjoyable. The food was delicious, creative and well presented and was a good fit for the atmosphere of the restaurant. Evening casual was totally acceptable but if you wanted formal, it would be ok as well. Nobody seemed to stand out either way. Reservations recommended and the early seating gets the sunset!
I made the mistake of ordering the market fish entree without asking the market price. The entree was excellent but the price was a surprisingly high. The rest of the dinner pricing matched the quality and expectations though.
This would be a great place for a romantic or special dinner as the atmosphere, staff, and menu would ensure a memorable dining experience!
Fantastic dinner, loved the octopus appetizer, all the dishes were great. Found the service a bit doggy, might have been short staffed.
Waiter not good
The waiter and the food was awesome, but the gal at the reception was out of it! Had a reservation for 7 and told her I wanted to add 1 to make it 8 when we arrived. She said she had to ask her manager and may not be able to accommodate. This was so alarming, especially since it was 8:30 pm on a Sunday night... and they literally seated no guests after we finally got our table. There were at least 7 empty tables nearby that never had anyone in them during our entire stay.
Our waiter made our experience amazing. I cannot remember his name, but he was such a fun, personable, laid back individual and I’m so grateful we crossed paths. We wanted to try the billionaire deviled eggs, and he gave us a discount to try them, which turned in to a comical experience when we got him to try one as well!! He made what could easily be a “stuffy” dining experience, a fun and relaxing one. We will definitely be back next time we travel! The brisket hash and pain perdu were delicious, as was the lychee boba-mosa
At breakfast the view on the patio was incredible and worth a lot and our service was friendly, but prices are high and the food is good but not great.
Fabulous rooftop view with heaters and blankets. Great cocktail program and solidly delicious food.
We got to the 4Saints about 15 minutes before our reservation. The hostess sent us to the bar to have a cocktail while waiting for our table. She totally forgot about us. 30 minutes later we went back and she was totally flustered and wanted to seat us outside. It was freezing That night. She offered us blankets 🙄
My date protested and she eventually she sat us inside. Our waitress was very good.
The bartender was great. Good drinks. The food was okay. Not worth the price.
Probably will not go back for dinner. But a great place to have a cocktail
Absolutely made my birthday!! Such great service.
Unbeatable outdoor viewing from the dinner table.
A fish dish was rock hard. Another entree had one tiny potato with it and a tiny bit of vegetable purée-not a good value. Management comped the fish and cane over to talk with us. Other dishes were okay. The view is great but not the food.
This was our second visit to 4 Saints. The outlook, service, ambiance, and food is top notch. The menu offers a wonderful range of options foe all tastes.
Great service and food and views that cannot be beaten
Ambience really nice. Food average and not worth the price. Out of a signature cocktail. Service below average, slow and forgot to bring a side order item and over charged us on another item.
Menu was odd
Service was great
Views were great
Our husbands decided to share the New York striploin. When the entries were served, a single plate was delivered to one of the men. The other man waited several minutes before the waiter appeared. The absence of a second plate was noted. The waiter returned with a plate the size of a tea cup saucer, saying this was the “sharing” plate. This menu item was $42.00. For a place that claims to be upscale, this was an absurd. Another steak dinner was ordered. Both steaks were without much flavour, and the accompanying crab meat was about 2 tablespoons in size. Service was slow, and the staff did not seem to enjoy their jobs. They were polite, but inexpressive and glum looking.
You know when things go from bad to worse so you start picking everything apart? I suppose the service is the worst part, and not just our waiter, but is the culture of the place it seems. Nothing is anyone’s responsibility or problem, expect the patrons. Absolutely a first world problem, I know, but it’s still business and not worth the time or money given other great options in town.
Our waiter was having a bad night.
We couldn’t believe the bad reviews on the beverage pricing but the criticisms are correct. Five times retail is quite a ripoff for wine and my $16 regular Bloody Mary was weak. Our food was just mediocre and the service wasn’t much better. It’s a cool space for cool people. Unfortunately, I felt ripped off.
The view from the top is so beautiful, wished the outside canopy expanded out more to cover the outside patio to not get to much sun. but would have loved to sit outside. other than that it was a beautiful place
Overall, the cocktails were great, the appetizers were very good, and the entrees were average (btw, we were sold on the fish special because as it was explained, it would be smoked with sage and come in a doom, none of which appeared to happen...pasta with mushrooms was over salted...all signs of a busy and rushed kitchen in my experience). Unfortunately, the timing of the food and cocktails also dragged out, which is probably why we experienced lower quality as the evening went on. It took about 40 minutes between the time the appetizers came out and our main course (overheard the couple next to us saying they should just leave and go grab a quick burger because they were very hungry and the food was not coming out) and about 20 minutes before our first round of cocktails came out. Our reservation was for 9pm and we left right at 11pm. Our server would disappear for a solid 15-20 minutes at a time. Ended up having two cocktails over two hours, would have probably ordered at least two more if someone had come by to ask. Funny though, the check came out right away when we asked for it.
Don’t get me wrong, the staff was very kind and helpful all around, just that, they weren’t around that often. My wife was cold sitting outside and they were kind enough to bring out a blanket for her, might have just been an off night.
I’m sure the Valentine’s Day rush and everything else going on that weekend affected the experience, would probably still give it another shot on a more normal night.
Love the place. The servers and management don’t get the concept of being attentive. So many servers and back server would walk by and not clear empty plates or offer more wine for empty glasses. Losing money.
I have to say I was hoping for more from this establishment given previous ratings and reviews. Unfortunately, the prix fix menu fell short and we left underwhelmed. I would expect the kitchen to be on their game like getting steak temperatures correct, bringing a spoon when someone orders soup (and us not having to ask for one), and other small things that by the end of the evening, add up to a lackluster meal. Sorry but probably won’t give this one another try given the plethora of other fine dining options in the Palm Springs area.
Our Valentine’s Day dinner at 4 Saints was really fabulous. We were not sure of a price fixed menu- but it delivered in every way- seafood, several ways, great appetizers, crab salad and the mains- lobster grits or filet Mignon- so good. The steak was the best I’d had in a while- was the perfect size to eat 6oz delish! Excellent wine list as well.
Service -noelle was our waitress and was just superb.
Was a great night- we actually said we can’t wait to go back and try the regular menu! We will be back soon!
It was also my birthday so that made it more special
Very disappointed this time both with service and quality of food. The menu was preset for Valentine’s Day. Food was a 2 star. Hair in my pasta and a comment from the waitress was I heard you did not enjoy your meal. Really. No who would.
Really has gone downhill. We have eaten here 12 times. No impressed at all this time.
Best experience we had in Palm Springs. 100% we'll go back.
