I’ve been to 4 Bells quite a few times now and the experience has never been anything short of amazing. Keep doing what you’re doing!
I loved the experience at 4 Bells. The food was spectacular as always, the server was very nice and perfectly attentive, and the ambience was pleasant. It doesn't feel like the large restaurant that it is. The only thing that dampened the experience a bit was that the host sat another couple about a foot and a half away from us, even though there were several other empty two tops in the section he could have chosen that were not right next to anyone. It hampered conversation a little, but then, we were too busy eating.
The food and service was exceptional. I had the black cod. It was fantastic!
Friendly and helpful staff. Food was good! Thought was a little over priced.
Outstanding food and service, highly recommend. Great seafood variety and creativity.
This is one of the best western seafood restaurant in the mpls-st paul area. There were 3 of us sharing calamari, beet salad, steamed mussels, garlic pull-apart buns, bricked chicken and whole red snapper. We were very very full afterwards. We didn’t need calamari and chicken and they’re not good and pricy. Definitely will skip them next time. Red snapper was very tasty although it was slightly overcooked. Mussels were large and broth was delicious and perfect to dip the buns in. We would go back for all these three dishes and beet salad for sure.
Server was well spoken, fun. Nice ambience. Food was above average, but I’ve had much better for less. King Crab was way over priced for amount of food provided...only 2 legs for $42 which wasn’t really explained prior to receiving the meal....no sides were provided. Steamed mussels were very good.
The food at 4 Bells is always amazing! It’s becoming our go to for birthdays, anniversaries, etc.
Both my husband I agree our meal at 4 Bells was one of the best we have had in the Twin Cities. From start to finish, everything was outstanding. We will definitely be back and have already recommended 4 Bells to several people. Thank you. Can’t wait for the next time!!
Went to 4 Bells Friday night. Had an excellent time. Caitlin, our server, was friendly, knowledgeable and steered us towards some great food (Black Cod was amazing). This was the first time we had been to 4 Bells but will definitely be coming back.
We were here for Sunday brunch. Everything we tried (which was a good sampling of the thoughtfully-designed menu) was very good, interesting and properly cooked. The service was very good and the staff friendly and knowledgeable. Highly Recommended.
Why was the fried chicken taken off the menu in the main restaurant? All my friends went there for that very reason. I felt the food was not as good as it was 1year ago.
Had a nice dinner date night!
Great fish/seafood the Scallops were great and my husband loved the Snapper!
We had a great time! Fantastic staff, wonderful customer service and great food suggestions. Delicious dinner, fun atmosphere. Would definitely go back.
Nice place, however we will not be returning because of 1 very unpleasant server. For the prices service should be top notch and sadly it only takes 1 person to ruin the whole experience. After waiting for an extended amount of time, other servers had to remind our server to go to our table and this was before we had even ordered any drinks or food. We were there after 7pm on a Sunday and the restaurant was no where near packed. Upon receiving our main course and a couple bites in our server wanders over and asks us how everything is, we say it's good and she lingers and snidely says"nothing to get upset about?" It was a very strange and condescending thing to say but didn't seem out of character for her because that was the whole vibe she was giving off.
We ordered the crab cake, cauliflower au gratin, garlic butter pull aparts, rainbow trout & scallops. The food was fresh but the scallops were overcooked and we should have sent them back. Based on other reviews we had high expectations but it just didn't live up to the hype.
We have never heard of this place before. We went and what an enjoyment! This place was a great food experience and great service! The food was unbelievable! Definitely will be coming back!
Went there for my weekend birthday meal. I was not disappointed!! Everything was just divine. Try the tuna starter... it's my new favorite thing ever.
We arrived and sat at the bar instead of sitting at a table. We were warmly greeted by the bartender. The woman behind the bar was awesome the whole night. She described the specials and items on the menu. She had great recommendations for us as we were avoiding gluten. The food and cocktails were delicious and the service was supreme and genuine.
Absolutely amazing! The staff were incredibly helpful with choices and the food was mind blowingly tasty. The oysters were so fresh one would think you were on the coast. Will definitely return to this gem again!
Like I told my husband, one of the best meals I have had in years. From the Moscow Mule, to the escargot, and then the scallops; it was suburb. Only down side to the meal was it was very noisy and difficult to have a conversation but beyond that it was great! Can't wait to go back and tell only good reviews.
Sat next to the loudest group of people possible even though there were many open tables. Very rarely saw the waitress, who forgot our drinks and never checked on us. Disappointed to spend so much money for such an experience.
Excellent food and service. It was a little noisy, but the service was so good that it wasn't a problem.
Good fresh sees food, wonderfully prepared for moderate price.
It was my birthday dinner (which happens to be on Valentine's Day) service was good but the food (we had the salmon, walleye & trout) was only average- the oyster flight and brussel sprouts were the best thing we had that night. I've been dying to try 4 bells for a long time so this was a huge disappointment.
We were looking for a new seafood experience.. We really enjoyed the food and the environment.
Service was great, the servers are very attentive and nice to talk to. The food was good quality but the dishes were too small for how much the cost was. We actually had to go somewhere else for more food after dinner because neither of us were full from our meals. I don't think we'll go back anytime soon but the fish was good quality.
My mom is visiting for the week and we stopped by Sunday morning after going to church at the Basilica. We ir
Our family had a great dinner at 4Bells on Saturday feb 10. Five adults who love nice food and appreciate good service. Halibut, brick oven chicken, whole snapper along w oysters and dessert made up our feast.
Everything was wonderful. Great food and service. Our server was fabulous. Good drinks and wine too. Will definitely be back!
WE HAD WONDERFUL AND VERY INTERESTINGLY PREPARED SEAFOOD. NO FISH WITH BUTTER AND GARLIC HERE BUT FULL FLAVORED AND STIMULATING TO THE TONGUE. GOOD WINES. MARVELOUS SERVICE, VERY ATTENTIVE TO OUR SPECIAL TIMING NEEDS. ALL AT A VERY MODERATE PRICE. CAN'T WAIT TO GO BACK!!
Excellent service, food was good, would like to see more options on menu. Price was fair.
Food was awesome! Service was great! We’ve been celebrating our bdays here for 3 straight years
4 Bells is fun - service is amazing and the dishes are clever/interesting. This time, though, I felt that both of the dishes we had (halibut and brick chicken) were way over-seasoned and the halibut was a bit over cooked and tough. The garlic pull-apart bread, though, is a must.
Fantastic menu, knowledgeable staff, good wines, and vibe! We’ll be back!
This place is amazing. The fried chicken is superb and all dishes are delicious. The service is outstanding. It's close to our home, we appreciate this place quite a bit.
Food was excellent. Filled with great flavor combinations! The staff clearing was wonderful. Our waitress was not good. She never introduced herself or told us the specials. She did not try to engage us as customers, which is too bad given the price of the tab.
Great sea food and drinks. Service was very good too. The only minus was the noise level.
The oysters and Scallops were spot on, also had the ribeye which was cooked perfect
