37sol Southwest Kitchen & Tequila Bar
Very nice quality food. Service was beyond outstanding!
The food was fantastic and the service was great! If you are tired of the typical Southern deep fried food then you definitely want to go to 37 Sol. There sea bass was grilled to perfection as well as the vegetables! (Not fried)
Can’t wait to go back!
we did not eat dinner here.
their sanitation score was a 90. I don't eat anywhere that's less than 95
Sub par Mexican food.
Awesome food and service.
The food was ok. I was disappointed that the queso blanco was lukewarm. I ordered the shrimp and grits. The grits were amazing but the shrimp was not very good at all, maybe frozen. I would give them another chance but my first experience wasn’t a great one.
My dad said they were the best tacos he's had. The SOL Trio is a great option. The empanadas are good too.
The margaritas were awesome! Service and atmosphere was great! The food, however, left something to be desired. The person that recommended the restaurant said that the margaritas and the guacamole were excellent! Wish I had stayed with only the guacamole. I might try again though.....
Had a reservation however nothing was available when we arrived on the scheduled time. Ordered sea bass and the rice underneath was hard, as if it was old rice that was mixed in with freshly cooked rice, should have left grilled veggies on the screwer - they were cold and looked as if they were scrapped off someone’s plate and placed onto mine. Horrible first experience, the only saving grace for this place was the waitress.
When 2 friends in 2 days recommend a place, you try it out. We did and were so happy! Great assortment of food, creatively prepared and presented. We shared 4 appetizers and brought home leftovers. You can make a “tapas”meal of it!
Cocktails are great, very nice list of tequilas. Excellent service - we were well cared for.
Great date night! Our server was amazing and the food was hot and fresh!
Very slow getting the food out today. Had multiple table seat well after us and some were almost finished by the time ours came out. It’s our 3rd visit but first for brunch.
We have been to 37 Sol on three different occasions. The first time was shortly after they opened and they were very busy and the food and service were excellent. The second time was around the holidays in 2018 and again very busy, food and service were great. This last time which was August 11, even though our reservation was early at 6 PM they were not even remotely busy when we left nearly 2 hours later. Service was very good and very accommodating but while the others at the table ordered the tacos in different varieties, I was disappointed in mine which was actually an appetizer featuring steak. The steak was extremely overcooked and charred and dry. Other than that it is one of our favorite Mexican restaurants in this area because near where we live there are not many. I am worried that due. To what seems a lack of clientele, that they may not be around in another year. I would hate to see that happen… So people go out and try this restaurant!
We’ve been to 37 Sol many times. This was a pleasant experience as usual. Morgan did a fantastic job serving.
Service and food were meh for the amount of $ we spent. It's not that is was super expensive I just expect more bang for my buck and this place ended up being nothing more than a glorified Chipotle. Bathrooms were clean.
The food was not that great. It lacked that omg factor. There were bugs flying around us and the wait staff was mediocre
Our server needs to wear longer shorts. Her shorts resembled black denim underwear.Seeing her butt cheeks is not appropriate. I'm not dining at Hooters. Secondly, she brought out the wrong margarita. I asked in details about 3 specific ones and then I decided to go with the Jalapeno Cucumber, she brought out the BlackBerry. Not a big deal but nonetheless, it was the wrong one.
However, speaking of drinks, they are delicious. My Lobster and grilled corn quesadillas were very good! My fiance's steak and chicken taco's were not very good. The contents were good but the corn tortillas are steamed. We know this because the manager came to our table and briefly told us. I suggest cooking them on the grill, they tasted raw and undercooked.
I don't think we would go back.
We were rushed due to Needing to get to Top Golf but they were very accommodating. The food was excellent with the exception of the salsa trio as it was just ok. The service was really good and I would recommend for Tex mex dining.
Everything about the experience was great. Drinks were tasty and very reasonably priced. Portions were large and food was very tasty. I like spicy and the chef was a little heavy on it but I loved it. My wife isn’t good with spice so it was a little zingy for her. She had the shrimp tacos.
I would say our only complaint was that the service was a little too fast. Drinks were at table right away. App was there almost immediately. 5 minutes later our dinner came out. I was disappointed that the wait staff or management didn’t recognize this and take the food back and have a fresh one made later. we specifically said to the waitress that we wanted to take our time with dinner. She apologized when it came out but that should have been caught before it ever left the kitchen.
Other than that everything was great. I love the guy that was at the front desk too. He had great charisma and gave my dry sense of humor right back to me. We will be back.
The food was ok, didn't blow me away. Drinks were great, enjoyed the atmosphere. Would go back for taco Tuesday but not for full priced menu.
The tequila list unparalleled! Everything we have ordered has been fantastic.
Great food as always, however this was the first night of their live music addition and it ruined the entire dinner. The music was so loud you couldn’t have a conversation. Unfortunately, if these live music nights continue I will not be back. Turn it down or end it as no one was enjoying it, even our server was appalled at how loud it was.
Love the food here. The service is also always great.
Food order very slow; drink orders fast. Server confused our food & drink order but he was so nice and personable, we easily forgave his mistakes or was it the tequila? 😂
Second time doing brunch here and it’s definitely a place I’ll continue to come. The staff is super helpful with the menu when first coming and the food is amazing! Drinks are uniquely amazing as well!
Awesome experience, as usual. Great food, great service.
AMAZING!!!! We've been eyeing this place since it was built, and we took my mom there for Mother's Day Sunday brunch. We absolutely loved everything!
Wow. What a great meal. My wife enjoyed her Mother’s Day brunch and I enjoyed the spicy jalapeño Bloody Mary.
This was our first visit (mothers day brunch party of 8)to this restaurant and it was amazing. Very clean service was awesome. .(Kristen). The Sunday brunch was really really good and who doesn’t love two dollar Mimosas. .
This was an amazing first experience and we cannot wait to go back as a family.
I would recommend trying 37Sol. Good location & unique decor. Good menu. My guests loved their meals. Margaritas were good too. Appetizer portions were small. Expensive overall. We ordered 3 drinks, 3 appetizers, and 4 entrees and the bill was $117 before tip.
Our service was amazing and the food was even better!
Food was not as fresh and flavorful as it could have been. Adding the pineapple salsa and habanero salsa helped, but did not improve the lack of freshness. Drinks were ideal in cost but seemed somewhat weak. Overall very average experience. Probably would try another place instead of going back.
Because it was cinco de Mayo we expected a crowd and made reservations. Unfortunately a girls volleyball team from out of town showed up an hour early and demanded to combine their reservation from 3 parties into one.
The staff expertly handled the request and managed to seat us and traded off our table to make sure we had service. This was a sticky situation to be in for them but I was impressed with how well they handled it. We will absolutely be returning here soon. Much applause to the staff and management
I did not expect that the music would be so loud so it was difficult to enjoy the company we were with. However this venue did lend itself to loud music, family friendly environment and high energy. It just wasnt what we had in mind for our evening out. I thought the food was good and reasonable priced.
Good neighborhood restaurant and go to place.
Our server was very friendly and helpful with menu because we were first timers. We absolutely loved the Mexican Street corn appetizer! It was very tasty. I had the tuna tacos which were delicious with the pineapple salsa. The rice and beans served with these were also very good. We were disappointed in the grits and pablona side. Grits were not creamy or cheesy enough. We also did not care for the potato and chorizo pie, it was dry and tasteless. Felt like it was made day before and heated up. Margaritas were disappointing, said they were fresh squeezed but were too sour and mixes. Food was very fresh though.
The service was great. The food was flavorful. The margaritas were to die for! I highly recommend the cucumber jalapeño margarita muddled for a little extra spice!
It was a date for my girlfriends birthday. We loved every minute. The staff took such great care of us. The food was AMAZING!!!! I have more people coming to try this place soon. *Word of advice, get the Green Chile Chicken Nachos*
Small portions and high prices for Mexican.
This place is arranged in a weird way. We made a reservation and were seated at a teeny tiny 2 person table against a wall next to a large party. NOPE. So I asked to sit on the patio where she said there were heaters and a firepit..freezing-NOPE! So, we ended up at the bar where we tried for 10 minutes to get someone's attention and order a beer...The food was fine nothing special.
Food was a little overpriced for the amount that you get.
