    Let us take you on a culinary adventure down the rabbit hole into a world of unique flavour combinations created by our Chef Proprietor Gary Pearce. Our 8 Moments Tasting Menu will enable you to discover new textures and unusual dishes designed to provide you with a memorable dining experience, with each and every moment. This unique menu has been specifically created to enable diners to share Chef Gary's vision for the fresh and exciting ingredients and is therefore recommended as created. We are unable to adapt this menu for any dietary dislikes, allergies, except for a fish only, or meat only menu and gluten free. All modifications of the menu are on the basis of the complete table and will require with 48hrs prior notice.

    The dining experience at 36 on the Quay was outstanding. Flavours and presentation of the food was inviting and appetising. All made even more special by the attentive service. This was a restaurant which seemed to appeal, although unknown to us, especially as we are not local, just visiting from Bath. However, we would certainly dine here again if in Emsworth and would highly recommend it to discerning diners. Many thanks.

    Nice ambience and good service, but the food was a bit hit and miss. Very nice hors doeuvres but the terrine was lumpy with skin in it and the main courses of red mullet seemed dry, a bit tasteless and the chick peas underneath didn’t work . However the crab mouse was lovely.

    Amazing Sunday lunch in a beautiful setting. Staff very helpful with food intolerances. Shame they covered my daughter’s plate in gravy when she asked for none! It’s a shame that the little extras you get when you eat here from the a la carte menu in the evening are not given to you during Sunday lunch.

    On arrival we enjoyed a lovely wine and champagne upstairs on the terrace. We browsed the menu although we had ordered the fixed courses but enjoyed looking through the array of unusual choices. We were shown to our table and it was then the sublime and brilliance of food began to arrive. It was so refreshing the plates were hot which many exclusive restaurants forget and it makes such a difference when you are a slow eater. The flavours were outstanding and the quality of produce was out of this world. The pace of each course was perfect and after 3 hours we hadn't even considered we had been there that long. The ambience of the restaurant was truly perfect and the tables spread so you din't feel you were dining with other guests. All in all a truly magical evening and the staff were lovely, we will be returning as it was our first time and will not be our last. We highly recommend.

    I came for a meal with my son,we had really high expectations and it didn’t disappoint. Our meal was the 8 moments and every course was cooked to perfection. The staff were polite, friendly and explained each dish without being pushy or intrusive . An overall wonderful experience thank you.

    Wonderful way to spend our anniversary. Everything about it was amazing, so much more than just a Sunday Lunch. Will definitely be going back very soon.
