Nestled just off the Pembrokeshire Coastal path in the heart of the picturesque village of Solva, 35 Main Street is a thriving licensed café by day and excellent restaurant by night.
Offering an array of local seafood and famed for our homemade beer battered fish and chips and Solva Lobster and Crab, we are proud to offer an ever expanding choice of menu options for vegans, vegetarians and those requiring gluten free options. Eat in or take away, the choice is yours. We look forward to welcoming you, and your furry friends, soon.

NB: FROM 1st SEPTEMBER WE WILL ONLY BE OPEN FOR DINNER ON Wednesday to Saturday EVENINGS. Sunday to Tuesday OPENING HOURS WILL BE 9AM-5Pm.

A hidden gem in Solva Harbour. Absolutely wonderful evening, from being greeted by Steve the owner on our arrival, to the friendly service, the delicious food and the excellent value for money. The range of specials was really impressive and the sea bass was a great example of that; perfectly cooked and well-presented. From the 'normal' menu I can also highly recommend the hummus starter, the seafood spaghetti and the chowder; all exceptional. We dined here on the last night of a holiday to mark a major birthday and I can honestly say that it was the perfect choice. Nothing was too much trouble for the staff and, although I was looking forward to it, our evening actually surpassed my expectations. Thank you to Steve and the team

Great night. Lovely owner. It was extreamly busy and the staff were excellent. Big helpings. Taste food. Good ambiance as there was live music outside. Would visit again

We went to 35 Main Street for lunch and found that it has more of the relaxed informality of a cafe than a restaurant. My partner's cod and chips was exceptional, all the rest was very good. Also it was remarkably good value for money.

Such a lovely place! The staff were welcoming, service very good and Steve the owner was a real character. Puzzled by the 1 star hygiene rating as the food was exceptional. Having been in the hospitality trade in a previous life I know this is sometimes down to paperwork and records rather than cleanliness and freshness of food. I have no hold ups on recommending Number 35 to anyone visiting Solva.

Beautiful setting for this small, independent restaurant. The catch of the day was very tasty as were the desserts.

Found on TripAdvisor and so glad we visited. Food was great, really good quality and generous portions. Excellent value too.

Amazing place with amazing food. The host Steve was clearly very proud of his restaurant. As he should be as the service and ambiance of the night was perfect. 10/10

We didn’t need to be reminding on their rewards and big speech about the place over promised to set them selves to under deliver!!! Food was reasonable only some tables offered the specials!!! drinks offerings limited! Local fish would be preferred, only because their chef has worked with Gordon Ramsey does certainly not make him the best chef around I can name some many good local chefs that offer much better plates of food!!!
