We went here for a family celebration and everyone enjoyed their food and drinks. I highly recommend this restaurant. The grits were amazing.
Based on the most recent experience I would not. I am going to give them another chance and hope my experience is better.
Marriott is under going construction, restaurant was not busy, didn't have a few items on menu. The $50 steaks were the best, everything else was mediocre.
This was a birthday celebration. Always look forward to the steak at Shula's! Not today. First, let me say the original menu has changed. The asparagus and Bearnaise sauce are no longer avail. But the addition of mac and cheese was a surprise. First the steak. We ordered 2 strips, but either the vendor has changed or the size of the steak! In the past, the strips were thick and juicy. These "strips" (and the chef verified they were definitely strips) looked like rib eyes, flat and dry. My medium rare was cooked correctly, but it was dry and tough. My partner sent back his steak because it wasn't as ordered, medium well. It was well done. A new steak came back medium rare, not medium well and no seasoning. The veggies were fresh and crisp. The mac and cheese was very good except the bread crumbs sprinkled on top were evidently put on at the last minute because they tasted straight from a can. The highlight was definitely dessert! The carrot cake was not very moist, but very tasty regardless. The caramel sauce over it helped a lot. I loved the Happy Birthday message on the plate! Nice touch!
Service was spectacular! Tania, was gracious, friendly and very apologetic for our plight! It wasn't her fault. She was always asking how everything was and if she could help! A real Gem!
I guess we will have to find another steak place. BTW, the burgers at another table looked fantastic!
Ordered a 41.00 delmonico steak and they sent a sirloin sent it back and the delmonico came out raw. Sent it back again and 2nd time still rare. Baked potato hard. Waitress dis her best but the kitchen really screwed up.
Everything was ok, wouldn’t go back.
Menu has a small selection food was ok regular drinks hasn’t any options
Love Shula’s 347 as a dinner destination when going to Chrysler Hall for events. The atmosphere is pretty good, the food is usually outstanding but this particular visit, the medium well prime rib was more than well done and the crab cakes were dry but still delicious but dry. I’m hoping is was just an anomaly.
There was a wedding party there the night I went. So I understand why service was slow. The food wasn't that good. Everyone at the table had to add seasoning since everything tasted so bland. Mainly the mac and cheese and then my friend and I both got chicken sandwiches and our stomachs were killing us afterward. My brother and his wife had burgers and they felt fine afterward. So maybe stick with their beef items.
They changed their menu about a week ago and it’s just overall not as good as it used to be. My mother ordered the crab cakes and they were very small and more bread than crab. We went on a Tuesday night and were 3 of maybe 20 people in the place and the service was still very slow. Very disappointing.
Crab cake, bbq shrimp and fries were good. Most of the menu was “not available” the steak had no seasoning and the sides were inedible. The Mac and cheese and mashed potatoes in particular were terrible. Watery and tasteless I’m not sure how you taste worse then microwave food. The place was mostly empty and I see why. Our server was great and made the best of it, and we had a very nice time but I’d say they are going out of business and im looking forward to trying whatever pops up in its place.
Menu has changed slightly, but food is still tasty. They had a function going on so it was extremely loud for dinner. Our waiter was the least favorable part of the evening. He did not get the cook temperature of our steaks correct - pretty sure he forgot to put it in as such; did not provide small plates for our bread; did not provide drink refill until we about finished eating; and just seemed generally lost on menu/food protocols. He may have been new and he was polite enough, so hopefully he’ll get better.
Service is always slow! 5th year in a row! Tables were left with dirty dishes. Kept telling diners they couldn’t order because the kitchen was on a hold. But let other tables order. When food finally came it was cold and wrong. They definitely need to step up there game.
The waiter took our order, and we never saw him again. He went by our table many times… But never stopped and asked how we were doing. Do you want another drink? Is everything OK here? Nope. Had to ask another server to get our bill for us and a takeout container. The steaks were great. The service was less than par.
Usually, our visits to Shula's are terrific. This time, unfortunately, it was not. Our reservation was early, about 5pm. The restaurant was not busy. We both ordered the Shula cut strip steak, but what came out were two ribeyes. The steaks were taken back to the kitchen, but it took over 45 minutes to get it back. We did, however, get a complementary dessert. Then it took 15 minutes to get our bill and it was wrong. Finally, after two hours, we left. We did get a call the next day asking how our dinner was, I explained what happened and was told someone would be getting back to us. Still haven't heard from anyone.
This is very unusual for the restaurant! The steaks are great and so are the sides! Maybe we'll try again.
The prices were too high for the quality and quantity I ordered. The hostess had a permanent unfriendly face that appeared she would rather be anywhere than work, if true why does she continue to work there?
I have been here several times. The place was empty so I'm not sure why we waited 15 for our server to come take the drink order.
Our steaks were prepared just as we requested. Our server, Vlad, was excellent and probably one of the best we've had. He was polite, attentive, and very personable. We enjoyed our meal immensely!
Food and service were ok. Not a high quality steak house. Also this location does not let you use your rewards dollars even though it says you can when you book it here.
Great restaurant though a limited menu. Wine list somewhat limited too.
We been to Shulas 3 times. Each time was outstanding. We will definitely return.
Great!!! Would recommend.
Great steaks and sides. Server great; kitchen a tad slow.
I enjoyed my dining experience at Shulas. The crab cakes were perfect. My entree had great texture, color and flavor. I will return.
The food was not worth it’s price and neither was their mixed drinks. Walking in greeter was not that approachable. Our waiter was nice though, definitely checked in and did what they were supposed to do. But the food was cold after just getting it on the table and had no flavor what so ever.
The server we had was fabulous!!! He is most attentive to his guests. First time we had him was at the bar on New Year's day. Forget his name but he is an ex Marine.
Time for Shula's to be updated. The ambiance isn't the value or represents the food.
Not a fan of the sports bar atmosphere, nor the adequate - but not exceptional - menu fare. The choices I've tried include flatbread and pasta with short rib. The steaks, which are their apparent claim to fame, may well be excellent.
I've previously dined at Shula's Steakhouse (not 347 Grill) in other cities and had fabulous, true "fine dining" meals - notably steaks, so it may be that the target audience of 347 Grill is intended to be different. Perhaps this is simply a matter of my expectations being misaligned.
I'd rank 347 Grill in a much different class than Shula's Steakhouse. Bottom line - not all Shula banners are created equal.
New Years. Food really good. We enjoyed it very much.
Our waiter must have been new or untrained because we were consistently lacking drinks and he disappeared after the food was delivered my husband ordered his steak medium it arrived well done my strawberry mojito had about a half a stack of mint in it obviously the bartender didn't know how to fix the drink didn't complain when we were there really didn't want our food or drinks tampered with but we won't be back
Had a wonderful meal on a date here. we ordered surf and turf, and the steak. both meals were great and got a great portion for the price. we had the American mules and were very satisfied. i enjoyed the setting and the only hiccup was some noisy kids that weren't really that bad overall.
Overall I really enjoyed my visit and the service staff were wonderful.
Very relaxing and we enjoyed everything. My steak was delicious
This was my first time dining at Shula's the food and service was great. But I felt a bit pricey, but I think that price include the experience it a very beautiful restaurant and it has walls and walls of Don Shula a football legend football career so to me that justified the price. I would recommend this place and I would dine here again.
We had reservations for Christmas dinner. They had a special Christmas menu but when we got there, they had run out of their Christmas menu so they offered us the filler regular menu. The filet medallions were ordered medium rare and came out well done and tasting like lighter fluid. It was all pretty disappointing but it was Christmas so we smiled, skipped dessert, paid and left. We won’t be back.
Went out for a nice double date night last Saturday and unfortunately the ambience, food, and service what not up to par.
The server was unsure if they had ginger beer, which he then said he’d go to the store to get..
My fiancé’s burger was brought to the table without the bun on top; server mentioned the kitchen must have accidentally left it off. My chicken from my salad was burnt.
AND my sister-in-law found a little spider crawling on our table...
NEEDS: better music, lights, perhaps fresh flowers and dinner specials. It was dead on a Saturday night :(
We made a prior reservation for our daughter's graduation. Seated without issue. Great service
My 17-year-old son and I enjoyed my birthday dinner. I love the dark wood, and ambience of a nice steakhouse, and Shula’s hits the mark. My baked potato and corn were a little cool, but that’s because I think our waiter got hit with a ten top. The 10 top was running him like a mule. My Ribeye was fantastic, and my son’s Filet Mignon was so tender and delicious. We enjoyed ourselves very much. Thanks for the free entrée, and the free cheesecake. It was great! We’ll be back!
Went to Shula’s with 3 work colleagues. The service was not good. Our server was all over the place, giving us mixed reviews on the items we wanted to order. When the food arrived, my Filet Mignon had zero taste and my Managers strip was super tough. We will not return.
Also wanted to add that the 4 cups of coffee he poured at the table were cold. When it was brought to his attention, the waiters response was “oh”.
The food is always good at this Shula’s but service and the length of time it takes the kitchen to prepare food is terrible. 3 burgers took 45 minutes to prepare and be served.
Thank you for the first class service and the meal, Anna was Great, hope to have her again...
Was understaff during visit as customers began arriving after an event. Front desk was lacking along with adequate service personal on hand....but staff that was there managed the best they could.
Obviously not expecting or prepared for waive of guest that arrived around 8:00pm Sunday Oct. 21 looking for an after event dinner. We had to wait for order for almost an hour.
