Belrose continues to be my favorite local restaurant! I go about once a month and the menu changes often enough to offer new dishes on a regular basis; and they're always superb! The service is always excellent, too, with friendly and efficient staff always ready.
Second time back. Great service, food and specials . And a shout out to extra understanding...made the reservation on open table but the number reset to default to ‘2’ problem was we were four. Quickly and with a little rearranging we were all seated as if nothing happened. On a Friday night it could have been a bit more troublesome but staff was professional, accommodating and willing to understand mistakes happen.
Just a beautiful day to be on the patio having a delicious lunch
The food and service at Belrose are consistently good. They always offer wonderful specials in addition to there house specialties and season menu items. On a recent Wednesday evening, the place was packed, but we still enjoyed warm, professional and efficient, but never rushed, service. The only downside was the very noisy table next to us. The room can be a bit loud to begin with, so they made conversation difficult at times.
The menu was not as shown on-line. It was a buffet, so disappointing. And among the desserts were "Dixie" cups (embarassing)! The manager agreed to have us served, but still.
Of the five of us I was the only one who liked their meal. My husband’s prime rib was almost raw. But he waited so long to get it, he didn’t send it back. Someone else wound up eating it. The waitress seemed distracted as she couldn’t get the food delivery correct. When the food was finally brought to our table it was like an auction. “Who gets the pork” and so on. The prices were way out of line. $15 for a Caesar salad that didn’t fill the dish. We won’t be going back anytime soon nor will we recommend this place to anyone we know.
They have a nice enclosed patio where we enjoyed lunch on a beautiful afternoon. The soup d'jour --mushroom--was delicious.
Our family enjoyed the outdoor seating and generous portions. The brussel sprouts were popular as starters; the filet mignon and grilled salmon were excellent main dishes. Our server helped me surprise my neice with a slice of lava cake and a boisterous rendition of "Happy Birthday". Excellent experience.
This is our go to whenever we want a great meal with great service in an awesome setting. The service is fantastic (Kiki was our server) and the meal was outstanding. I highly recommend saving room for the bread pudding, literally one of the best deserts I have ever had.
With all the high end restaurants that come and go Belrose has been the most consistent and is the standard barer of them all. Always happy with the experience
We loved our dinner at 333 Bellrose. We were in town for a business meeting 2 hours away from home and needed a quick dinner before heading home. We found this on Open Table and loved ut. We got there at 6 on a Saturday and they had outdoor seating available. The menu was small but each dish's description was inviting. My wife's delicious salmon was a substantial portion over a mountain of arugala salad, I had Barramundi in a fabulous salsa verde. The shrimp wonton appetizer was wonderfully flavored. Service was perfect. When we left at 7, the line was out the door.
Our food was outstanding and our server was the perfect combination of attention and privacy.
Always good but would like to see some change in the menu. Pretty much the same items every time. They’re good so would like to try other items.
We had a delightful Easter brunch at 333 Belrose today. The buffet brunch was filled with so many delicious options. The staff was friendly and the mood of the restaurant was festive! I think we have found a new tradition! Thank you!🌷
The food is always delicious! It's our favorite place on the Main Line.
The food was delicious, and beautifully prepared, as it has been in our previous visits. The crab cakes are particularly outstanding, as is the java pork tenderloin. I gave it a 4 out of 5 for value, only because 333 Belrose is not a “value” restaurant. While certainly not overpriced, I think it is a “you get what you pay for” experience. Great food, presented this way, cannot be inexpensive. For us, Belrose is not an everyday restaurant. However, we will go there more frequently, after three great experiences! Does that make it a great value? That particular question is difficult to answer; maybe even a bit unfair to this type of upscale restaurant. I guess it’s right on the money - delivering as expected for every dish! Thank you.
BBQ sandwich was delicious. Fries very good. Not exactly a bargain for lunch however.
An All around great experience. Cool atmosphere and really good food, great service!
Had the black bean soup and trout po'boy both were outstanding.
Guest had fish tacos, said they were great.
All four dishes we ordered (mushroom soup, Brussels sprouts, mahi mahi and salmon) were cooked to perfected and had great flavor. Highly recommend everything about Belrose and try to sit outside if the weather is good!
Every time we dine at Belrose we leave happy and satisfied. The food is consistently good and well presented. I am a fan of their pork chop and always order it if it is a feature on the menu. This time my guest got the Halibut special and it was great and I got the pork chop which never disappoints. The sides are always really good. Our waiter who I’ve had before, James M, is awesome!
Great meal. Lively bar. Main dining room is a little sterile.
Food is always fantastic. It is a bit loud though, so if conversation during your meal is important, it may not be the best place to go.
My girlfriends and I celebrated on of our friends' birthday. Everything was delicious! The bar bill gets a little pricey but the food was delicious and service was impeccable.
A good menu, food, and service
Great food excellent seevice
The food is always good and my husband was thrilled the short ribs special was on the menu! The table next to us was very loud which is something you cannot control. Overall we had a nice time.
Wonderful service, great food, nice environment..
The bar makes a very good Old Fashioned.
Stopped here after visiting Villanova University . . . a very short distance away. We were early for our reservation but were pleasantly greeted and then seated immediately. It was difficult to decide what to order because there were so many tempting selections. We ended up choosing two Belrose Specialities. I had Fish and Steak Tacos which were DELICIOUS. The three tacos (two steak/one fish) were seasoned perfectly and beautifully plated. My fellow diner enjoyed the California Crab Cake Sandwich which he deemed the best ever. A mouthful of fresh crab was present in each bite; no other ingredients competed for center stage. We both agreed it would be worth the 90-minute return trip to enjoy another meal. Stop by if you get the chance. You won't be disappointed.
Always a good meal and great staff. Highly recommend.
The food was very good although same meal at dinner was $13 more than lunch. The service was very good and darn good martini. We didn’t love the atmosphere of the far back room and would rather sit in the main room where the atmosphere buzzes a lot more.
My favorite restaurant. Always excellent food, outstanding service, and the feel of the place is great. From the minute you walk in the door this place is the best.
Everything was great. Except the loud disco-like music choice, in my opinion did not suit the ambiance of the restaurant. The nice waitress was accommodating and turned down the music.
I had a business lunch meeting and it was the perfect spot for it. The food was very good, and so was the service. I've been there several times for lunch meetings and will continue to go back.
The Lamb Shank was outstanding. Tender, flavorful and an ample serving. A must have!
Dinner at 333 Belrose was a good experience. The food is very good but the menu doesn't give a lot of choice (or perhaps I just didn't like the choices!). The wine list is not so good and ridiculously overpriced. When we got there we found out that they do allow patrons to BYOB for. $25 per bottle corkage fee. I would probably go back but I'm not in a hurry.
Wonderful, wonderful neighborhood gem. Pork Chop Special was better than good and Crab Cakes never disappoint. Food preparation and pairing is waaaay better than in other establishments and service is pleasant and always attentive.
We Had a luncheon salad that was to die for. Service was fabulous and the food was delicious
Food as expected. Belrose is consistent. Interior is in need of uodating and DUSTING. Look up.
This is one of our favorites. Usually a very consistent meal. Sad to say this time I had a mediocre appetizer... the tuna tartare. Described as sesame and ginger... came out swimming in mayonnaise? I’ve had tuna tartare at restaurants up and down the east coast and never have I seen it coated generously in mayonnaise. I thought about sending it back but just tasted it and then passed it to my husband. Entrees were good. Service was good. Restaurant was packed. And I was ill throughout the night- probably from all that mayonnaise. Next time I will ask for details on preparation.
Lovely atmosphere. This is second time my gf and I have visited this place and we enjoyed just as much as the first time. The food is fantastic and I would highly recommend this place to anyone seeking a warm ambiance and inviting wait staff
