Restaurant is located in the Ft Lauderdale Marriott where we were staying. The food was excellent and the service was also. Very unexpected for a hotel meal. I had the Cavatelli starter followed by the skirt steak. My wife had the grouper and asked the waiter for the recipe she was so impressed. Will definitely return.
The service was excellent and the food was delicious. This restaurant is a great choice for a special occasion.
One of the best dining experiences in Fort Lauderdale Florida!
Blown away by the care demonstrated in preparation and quality of this food. So many well thought through dishes. Party in the mouth. We really enjoyed the 3 course tasing menu.
Exquisite meal. Compliments to the chef
The thanksgiving prix fixe dinner was awful. Very little actual turkey in the plate. Two pieces of what looked like processed turkey sandwich meat with zero flavor pressed into a sliced roll, a green beans casserole with approximated 4 beans in it, a few tablespoons of dressing smeared on a slice of raw squash. It looked and tasted like something assembled the day before then microwaved. No freshly roasted turkey anywhere on the plate. Service was perfunctory and cordial. At $69 for the dinner, not counting wine or tip, which brought it to $109 a person, this was a huge rip off.
The best thing about the evening was my Old Fashioned. It was absolute perfection. The disappointing part was I never got the second one I ordered. Two of us ordered the Thanksgiving 3 course dinner and two of us ordered off the three course dinner menu. The pear salad was very good according to the ones who ordered it. Our soup was not so lucky. The risotto ordered bu our friends was overly salty due mainly to the fact there was too much Parmesan cheese. Our turkey was also overly salty except for the crispy leg which was very well done. I wish there was more of that and less of the regular turkey but it was not my call. The swordfish was, according to both of our friends, delicious. Our deserts were ok mainly due to the ice cream. Couldn't help but notice the two tables adjacent to us must have felt the same way because most of their Pumpkin Blondie was still on the plate when it was picked up. The real issue we had was when we received the bill. They included an $80.00 gratuity with no notification. I realize that is a common practice for large parties but we were only a party of four. When we voiced our displeasure to the manager about the included gratuity as well as several other issues pertaining to the service he was gracious enough to remove the gratuity as well as a round of drinks from our bill. Kudos to him. After all this we prepare to leave and the valet required us to pay them an additional $15.00 to retrieve our car. Something that was again never mentioned when we arrived. An evening full of surprises resulted in a less than pleasant experience. I can assure you we will not be returning and if you haven't been there yet save yourself the disappointment that appears, based on our experience, to be inevitable. Happy Holidays
Food was excellent and so was the service!
Pros: The seafood was excellent and our waiter was very affable. Cons: The hostess seemed a little scattered and it took a while to get seated. Also, skip dessert, not worth it.
Good food. Wines are good and well priced
After trying some other restaurants in the Fort Lauderdale area during two previous stays at the Marriott there, we have only used the in-house restaurants at the hotel, finding them better and much more convenient than other options. That said, 3030 is a great place to dine, with its specialty of fish and seafood and good service. Recently, our son and his family were also with us and everyone - including younger people aged 11, 16, and 19 - found something to eat at dinner and raved about it!
Despite noisy conference group gathering in the bar and outside terrace, we were seated promptly and
Wonderful service and food was delicious
Very talented chef. We had a great time. The food was excellent !!!!
Excellent food. Service was very good as well.
I was overjoyed as usual. The service, food and ambiance was splendid
One of our favorite restaurants
We had a lovely dinner last night. Three course tasting menu had a nice range of choices and reasonably priced. The honey fig salad, farm salad, grilled octopus, pumpkin soup, pompano and grouper were delicious. Serving size was just right and flavors nicely balanced and remarkably nuanced. The dark chocolate budino cake was the best we’ve had in a long time. Rich and flavorful without being a sugar bomb. Service is strong. It is a little loud, but not a big deal. We’d go back in a heartbeat.
Honestly the hostess was really nice she greeted me and seated me. But my server for the night Ashley was really outstanding she made me feel welcomed, she made it her job that I was comfortable, she made my experience at 3030 one to remember hopefully next time we meet again will be in my hometown Nassau, Bahamas.
Again thank you Ashley and management of 3030 Ashley deserves a promotion or a raise.
Just too loud. People walking in wearing t shirts. Baseball caps. Shorts. No attempt to look cleaned up. Why not al least have an attempt at a dress code.
Absolutely awesome food!! Can’t say enough about the flavors. Everything was put together nicely and results in spectacular presentation and taste. We did the 3 course meals and I’d do it again in a heartbeat 💓
Service was outstanding! Chef Adrienne made time to come to our table and prepared a delicious 6 course “Chef’s Surprise” which I highly recommend. The reviews were good for this restaurant but the food and service went above and beyond my expectation.
Always the food is near perfection
Very good. Waiter was good
It was inside the Marriott, which was great because it's where we were straying. I thought the food was priced fairly well and lots of ways to create and wonderful dining experience. The wait staff was very good. The only complaint, which is minor, is that it was loud.
I have eaten here several times now and I have not been disappointed. The food and the service are excellent. The food is fresh and it is so good. The service is always superb and you feel like they are honored to have you as their guest. Everything about this restaurant is great. If you are in the mood for a night out or are celebrating something special, this place is for you.
I will definitely be back.
Great service and food!
OVERpriced small portions of marginal food. A limited menu- Very noisy bar that is part of environment. VERY disappointed. Although server was excellent.
Surprised with tablet menus. Nice idea but confusing .. we asked for a paper menu. Food and service was outstanding. Don’t miss the roasted octopus. Large adjacent bar kept noise level above what we find comfortable
We had very high expecations for the evening given the location, description and menu. When we arrived for our reservation we asked for a quiet table for 2 near a window as we were celebrating our 30th anniveresary. To our disappointment we did not have a view of the ocean, the noise level was over the top with 4 large business groups in a relatively close space and the atmosphere was not "fine dining". Our waitress tried her best to make up for our table and the noise. She explained the menu in detail and helped us select interesting but safe choices given our apprehension of some of the entres. The quality, presentation and flavor of our meals was wonderful.... at the end, our waitress brought us a beautiful dessert for our anniversary. Overall it was a good night, but it had the potential to be so much more! Marriott needs to rethink how they use their dining space....currently feels like just another hotel restaurant.
We tried the tasting menu, which was definitely the way for us to go.
The food was inspired, with a fresh melody of flavors with each plating. The farm salad and the green salad were each memorable for their lasting bright flavors. Phase 2 we had charred octopus (most tender, best tasting) and Cedar Key clams (perfect little necks with bacon - yes, it’s awesome. Keep the home made bread coming to soak up the juice), followed by Swordfish - straight by itself the best I’ve ever had, skip the extras, just enjoy the fish! and Yellowfin Tuna - very tasty, especially with the spiced up Jicama slaw.
Order dessert like we did - you’ve gone this far, go all the way.
Service from Kevin was excellent, purposeful, well timed.
Great as always!
I love the staff and food but the bar is always so noisy and the people next to me left early as they said the noise was too much for them to put up with.
From beginning to end, it was perfect! It was my birthday dinner and the host wished me happy birthday and sat us down immediately by the window. Our server was very attentive the entire meal, from pouring the wine to serving our food. He was very pleasant and even brought out a birthday desert which was this amazing chocolate dish! My husband and I shared a fish dip which was so full of flavor and big pieces of fish. For dinner I had tuna ceviche and the best brussel sprouts ever.
I love the food and the staff but the noise from the bar is intolerable at times. People on the next table to me last night couldn't wait to get out of the restaurant as the noise was really upsetting them. And it wasn't that bad last night! Noise, stupid loud laughter and swearing is upsetting when. you are eating with your wife and young child.
It took over 2 hours to get our dinner which was then cold and dried out. Manager replaced it but it was too long to wait - appetite gone. Also the noise level wasn't "energetic" as the choice indicates - it was so loud you couldn't think straight. The bar noise is all in the lovely dining room - not a nice situation for a nice dinner
I felt the menu was limited, My husband and I do not eat meat and would have preferred a few simply prepared seafood options.
We had such a nice time, Food was delicious, manager came to our table to make sure everything was good and we spoke for a while. We really enjoyed the night!
Food was healthy and DELICIOUS.
