300 First is a trendy restaurant and bar that serves a variety of steak and seafood dishes. The restaurant's interior sports a modern vibe with dim red lighting and large pieces of artwork over exposed brick walls. The bar area is decorated with thin strips of neon lighting over exposed wooden beams on the ceiling. 300 First is a great place to enjoy an intimate meal and drink or to meet up with friends for a relaxing evening.
Start off with an order of cabbage rolls, onion rings or scallops. For the main course try a popular dish like grilled bavette filet or beef Wellington served with mashed potatoes and asparagus, ribeye steak served with hash browns. 300 First also offers a variety of house made cocktails and craft brews for guests to enjoy with their meals.
Waitress was very nice. We have gone here for years and normally everything is excellent!
The chicken tasted spoiled. The waitress actually served charred chicken tenders to my son, we sent back.
Martini tasted unusually weak.
Don’t know if it is new Chefs or what, but it was very disappointing!!
We will go back and try again. Hope it is better next time
Always great Joni is the best server!!
It was our first time dining at 300 First and we must say it was an outstanding evening. The service was excellent and all of the staff was friendly. When we arrived we were seated right away with our reservation. The food was also excellent and not overly priced for a fine dining restaurant. We look forward to coming back and will be future customers.
Fun night visiting with daughter. Had swordfish and was delicious! Friendly attentive service. Recommend!
Excellent service , great cocktails and good food.
I ordered the La Costa for my meal. It was excellent. If it is not a regular menu item, it should be.
Overall, very nice place. Excellent service. We both ordered the 6 oz filet mignons -- both were supposed to be cooked medium. One was cooked perfectly; the other was charred on the outside. Edible but not great or even good. We both ordered the grilled asparagus which arrived luke warm. Every else was great.
The food was delicious and service was fantastic.
Very attentive server. Great good.
Everything was great, the service, the ambiance, the wine, and the flavors of the food. My chicken was a little too dry for my liking and my husband’s steak seemed a little on tough. Would like to try it again sometime though.
Excellent beef Wellington. Meat was tender and pastry was perfect.Roasted beets were crispy delicious with a side of horse radish.
We were seated right away for a drink, they came fast and were cold, then seated at our table when our friends arrived and nobody came to our table for about 10 or 15 minutes until we flagged a waitress down, there send to be some confusion on who had our table after that service was ok, our prime rib was a good sized portion but not very tender or really flavorful, the onion rings we're the best I think I've ever had tho, the garlic mashed potatoes were really good the creamed corn was ok, the food could have been warmer too.
Our friends beef Wellington was really good as was their salmon.
Bread pudding was middle of the pack.
We'll go back again for sure.
Birthday and new job celebration.
Ambiance is nice and intimate. Great for a date night. Food is wonderful! And the service has been exceptional each time we've gone.
Earlier dinner hour was not crowded. Excellent wait staff. Old fashioned was very sweet, but was remade a bit better. Food was just ok - very MN without much flavor or spice, but not bad.
Butternut squash ravioli was out of this world delicious!
Food was actually quite good. I will be going back I wish theyhad a greater tap beerselection. When I was there 1 tap was out so they only had 3
Our third trip to 300 First and there was no disappointment. Service was speedy, food was tasty and prepared to our liking. My Dirty Martini was one of the best I've had.
Fantastic service, food and ambiance.
Ribeye was a poor cut. This was mentioned to our server and she took no interest.
We will not return for a second visit.
One of my most favorite places to go . Th onion rings are to die for and the tomato should with French bread is divine. And they have Woodford Reserve. I am a HAPPY CAMPER THERE!!!
Consistently excellent. Modern yet cozy.
excellent meal. Service was prompt and friendly. It has been our place to go for special occasions and will continue to be.
The old standards were good, but the desserts remain limited.
Great food and service again!!!
We had a new waiter but he did an awesome job! Food was served fast and exactly as ordered!
We had delicious food & a very pleasant, professional server which made for a really nice evening!
Service, drinks, food..... all were fantastic. One of my favorite places to go in Rochester.
Reliably good food excellent ambiance for supper conversation
Our server, Darlene was amazing!
Very pleasant. Server was very considerate of my 6 year old grandson.
Muy pocas gente, comida de buen sabor, pero sobre cocida .
One of my two favorite restaurants in Rochester, love the Boursin Chicken!
Wonderful service, specialty drinks were good
We had a great evening. The food was excellent and our wine was a fantastic value. The scallops were memorable! Friendly service and atmosphere. We will be back soon.
Loved the atmosphere and service was great. Will definitely add it to a place we would return to when in Rochester.
The food was excellent! We started with the calimari and then shared two entrees between 3 of us. My husband had the maple glazed salmon, and my daughter a seafood pasta dish. Both were great. We then finished the evening with the creme brulee. We will definately be going back!
The service was excellent. The drinks were well made. The food was delicious.
Really enjoyed the food and semi casual atmosphere. Our waitress Joni Togood was exceptional. Very friendly and knowledgable about food was helpful. Just a nice place to have dinner. Oh, martini was great.😊
Katherine was exceptional, as was the food. We’ll definitely be back!
