I had the lobster risotto and it was amazing. My salad was super fresh, the bread was great. Our server and hostess were both extremely friendly. Overall great meal and experience

The staff were extremely professional and friendly. They made us feel extremely comfortable and even accommodated a last minute special request for desert to be served before the main course.
The menu is very limited and the pricing is a little on the high end keeping the lack of options in mind.

We normally never venture out on NYE, as we hate the crowds, the pre fixe menus and inherent disasters. However, we were vacationing at the Grand Hyatt Baha Mar, so dining out was the only choice.
We made reservations on Open Table because there was no pre fixe menu posted. The day prior to our reservation, the restaurant called to confirm, and to tell us that there was now a pre fixe menu in place. We walked over to the restaurant to check out the menu. The hostess suggested a table outside, and we requested it.
We arrived early for our reservation NYE, and disaster struck. The restaurant had changed the outside seating configuration to include five 8 tops and three 2 tops, and all of the 2 tops were taken and not looking to be available for quite a while. The restaurant had hired a keyboard player to serenade the inside dining room, and it was loud, and not something we wanted to listen to. With it being NYE, and marooned at a resort with all of its restaurants at capacity, we had a total disaster on our hands.
Fortunately, the manager, Jennifer Goodson, came to our rescue. The result was that my wife and I began our meal at a table inside, but far from the keyboard. We then moved outside to the table we had wanted for our main course and dessert. We laughingly considered it our NYE progressive supper.
During dessert, Jennifer came out to check on us. She was delightful, and full of good information about what will become one of the top resorts in the Caribbean. The Grand Opening of the Baha Mar will be in April.
If you are looking for a terrific resort to vacation at in the Caribbean, I highly recommend the Baha Mar and 3 Tides Restaurant.

Spent New Years Eve Dinner at 3 Tides. Price fixed menu for New Years. The opening course was a raw bar that was good but nothing extravagant. Snow crab legs had not been thawed adequately in advance and were drenched with water when the shells were cracked. Second course was a lobster corn chowder that was unfortunately inedible. The base of the soup was tasteless and the lobster was completely mushy in texture. Main course was a beef tenderloin which was reasonable and accompanied by good but somewhat boring fingerling potatoes and asparagus. Reasonable desert options. Overall very disappointing on a special night at $125/person. The service staff are all exceptionally pleasant and accommodating but like all of the other restaurants on property, the food is just lacking and doesn't live up to the quality you should expect at the resort. If the food was really good you wouldn't mind paying the prices, understanding that its a resort and the price point is naturally going to be higher. But when the food is this disappointing then you feel taken. Even the special drinks at the bar were disappointing--actually had to ask the bar tender to take a drink back and take it off the bill it was so bad.

The restaurant is very pretty. We ordered the lobster risotto and steak. The risotto was decent. The steak was ordered to be medium well and came back very well done and the steak was very fatty. Every bite was fat filled. I informed the waitress when she asked how everything was that the steak was over cooked and fatty. She just said okay and walked away. When she came back she asked if she could wrap it up for me and I said no but please tell your chef that I am disappointed in this steak due to how it was cooked and how fatty it was. She said she would. Never did a manager approach us, the waitress did not offer any sympathy and she quickly brought the check.

This restaurant has excellent food and very fast service. We didn’t wait for our meal at all. The place is a little noisy because of the decor which is very nice just hard surfaces. The grouper and snapper we ate was perfectly cooked and seasoned well. Staff is friendly and very attentive. Definitely one I will frequent again.

My birthday dinner was delightful. My friends and I loved the ambiance and our server Brandy was attentive and so knowledgeable about the menu and the restaurant in general. The appetizers were to die for . Our main courses on the other hand fell on the bland side. The deserts were delicious. In over all I would dine there again.

This place is an overpriced dump with a meager menu. It could really be a great place with a new chef and menu. This place sucks...

Service was excellent. However food was less than average. I had the chicken which was dry and under seasoned. My son had the grouper which was bland. The snapper was fairly seasoned. Its pretty expensive as well.

While staying at Baha Mar we dined at 3Tides for convenience on our first night. It was billed as upscale. The venue felt like a cafeteria and the average food was supremely overpriced. It cost us a whopping $186 for 3 people and no alcohol. A glass of low shelf wine cost a minimum of $17 and went up to $36! The tuna was listed as Ahi and it was 1" thick. The service was good but the value was terrible. We were charged $25 for club soda.
Go outside the resort to eat!

Food was amazing and service was excellent. Nick the manager visited our table several times to check on us...great conversation and insight. Grouper and rib eye were both big hits, both prepared perfectly. The lobster risotto was also delicious.

We had Diva the hostess take us to our table and she was a pleasure to talk to on the walk. When we got to the table she introduced our server Brandy who gave us perfect service. Diva and Brandy made our experience unique and very pleasurable. I will be recommending 3 tides to everyone who ventures to Bah Mar!

Overpriced and really not that good. The server didn't seem to know that much about the food. Felt like a huge cafeteria - was surprised it wasn't by the ocean. Disappointing.
