As with any restaurant at Baha Mar, set your expectations low for timely service. We were in our seats for 20 minutes before anyone realized we had no server. We could have said something sooner but decided to just wait and see. Eventually we had to inquire because it was obvious nobody was paying attention.

The “best seat in the house” menu is a great option but they don’t offer it once you are seated. You need to ask specifically for it when you arrive and be prepared to sit at the bar. It may be well worthwhile, however. You are able to try 11 different dishes prepared before your eyes by the talented staff. Most were excellent.

Our server was notoriously absent, but the chef (named Charleston) took great care of us and made a special dish for our anniversary.

Food was good. I had the salmon and it was perfectly cooked. Wife and son had fish and chips which they likes a lot. Daughter had Cesar salad which she also liked.
Sonia was our waitress and she was awesome, very friendly. I would go back.

Service all over the Grand Hyatt is exceptional and this restaurant is no different. On top of that the food is perfection with a view of the musical fountains. A wonderful evening and meal.

Although I made a reservation, I had to wait for another 10 mins to be seated.
Receptionist was super slow as well as server. They do not know how to treat customers although there were plenty of empty seats. Their system is just not there.

Everyone was so nice and personable, no contest there. Service was just slow overall. Not sure if it was an off night or what. Food was great, just a lot of it...now I know for future.

Great food and service. The grouper was AWESOME! The milk shakes are fun and the kids loved the cotton candy on top!

Our kids enjoyed it and therefore we also enjoyed it. We all enjoyed the food and thought it was a good balance of quantity, quality and value. We will visit again.

My husband and I were at Baha Mar for the weekend, and had a wonderful dining experience at 3 Tides Fish House. The food was excellent - every dish flavorful and presented beautifully. We had an appetizer of grouper ceviche, and for our entrees we had the black cod & the shrimp. The shrimp were the largest I've ever seen & so tasty, the lobster mashed pototoes that come with the shrimp were to die for. The cod was equally as delicious. It's a little pricey but well worth it. The atmosphere is casual (you can wear shorts) & our service was excellent. I would highly recommend this restaurant!

Everything about this place looks great, and I really wanted to like it, but in comparison to other venues at Baha Mar it falls well short. We arrived early for our reservation and asked if we could be seated early. The hostess told us she had some tables opening up, so she might be able to get us in. We sat at the nearby bar and waited. When our reservation did come around, she said it’d be a couple more minutes but that she’d come get us. We made it downstairs to the restaurant 10 after our reservation to a half empty dining room. Once seated we asked for a sample of wine. It took 10 minutes to make it to the table because “the bar was busy”...in a half full restaurant. We ordered two fist dishes which were served fast. My blackened snapper was over cooked. The server replaced the dish with a burger, which was huge and delicious. I was happy that my meal was replaced quickly, but overlooking fish at a resort in the Bahamas is inexcusable. It could be a good restaurant, but it has a long way to go. With the countless venues on property, I’d recommend elsewhere.

My husband ordered a burger - was not asked preferred temp to eat it then the Meat came out rare - took forever to fix burger meanwhile I ordered two sushi rolls for dinner - only one was brought out - second one never put in - I had to request it again and that still took forever - I ended up cancelling the second roll because it was taking too long - waitress was nice and apologetic but she didn’t bother to write down any of our order - that would’ve helped from the start

Had reservations for 8 pm. Signed into restaurant and was told to wait in a sitting area which we did for at least 20 minutes past our reservation. My son went and inquired on our table as there were plenty of open tables. They finally sat us where we proceeded to wait another 20 minutes. No one offered water or anything. We just sat there. We noticed another family sitting too and waiting. We got up and left. Never had the food but couldn’t believe how AWFUL the service was. Very disappointing.

We had an amazing experience at 3 Tides! We chose to do the tasting menu, “Best Seat in the House”, which was a great deal if you are adventurous with food because you get to try a ton of different items on the menu. Chef Colyn made our experience unforgettable. He prepared everything to perfection, and his presentation was fantastic! He served me what I would call the best bite that I ever had. I would go back for the Colyn experience alone! Thank you for a stellar last evening in paradise!

We were a party of three on a Wednesday night, and we had a wonderful dinner. The restaurant has a very open feel given the high ceilings, open kitchen, and brightly colored artwork. All the bars and restaurants at Baha Mar have delicious cocktails, and 3 Tides is no different. It does have a somewhat limited wine, beer, and specialty cocktail list, however they have several choices to pair with your dinner. We ordered the protein sushi roll as an appetizer, and were so happy we did. It was delicious, and will have to go back if just to have it again, and try more. Our entrees were equally as delicious: goat pepper shrimp, Bahamian grouper, and the carbonara with scallops. One in our party ordered one of their "famous" milkshakes for dessert, and it was the cherry on top to a very satisfying dinner which exceeded our expectations.

I had invited family and friends for dinner at 3 Tides. We were 11 guests. The service was probably the worst I have experienced in a long time. We had to wait quite long for the drinks to be served- ..and when they arrived they were the wrong ones. Dinner was even worse- we waited app. 90 minutes- totally unacceptable. When our dinner was finally served - we were the only guests in the restaurant. There were plenty of waitresses there- but there was no coordination. I was told this is the best restaurant in the new Grand Hyatt Baha Mar- it certainly needs improvement.
