3 Sheets at the Harbor
Wonderful food, great service, ambiance was nice too!
Chowder was pretty good, green salad was awesome. Wife's Halibut was excellent (she's from Alaska and knows Halibut), and they allowed her to exchange fries for a cup of chowder.
Absolutely one of the best places I have ever been atmosphere amazing customer service amazing, it was my sisters 50th birthday and she’s so loved this ❤️ place we will come again thanks again
A shady spot (facing north) on the Columbia, 3 Sheets is located within a condo complex, so parking is tight. Both inside and outside the restaurant are attractive table and chairs, as well as sofas (outside), all with a view of the small harbor full of boats. Airplane traffic and the sound system may make conversation difficult. The Happy Hour menu offers tasty choices, but mixed drinks tend to be spendy. We had a good time, with a great server (Jordan), and will return.
We sat outside which was amazing but they need to do something about the bees which swarmed us throughout the meal.
Drunk guy hitting on women half his age and no manager cutting him off, undercooked/incorrect (and slow to arrive) food, and a call to the management later about the poor experience, only to be told that the manager was too busy to talk means this place does not deserve business. One member of my party had an order of a burger with no cheese, no sauce, because of food allergies. The first time it came the meat was raw, not medium as requested, and the second time it was covered in sauce. I heard the server (who was awesome - she deserves to work somewhere better) reminding the kitchen, but they were obviously overwhelmed and apathetic and slopped on the sauce. If you want bad food and slow service, this is the place for you. Otherwise, steer clear.
It was too cold inside, so we sat outside, which was only slightly less cold. We were in the flight path of PDX which wouldn’t have been too bad except the military were doing drills and fighter jets were deafening! Our server was good, but the food was awful and expensive. We won’t go back nor will we recommend it to anyone.
Service was fair. Food just okay . The waitperson checked in regularly but did not know the soup of the day and had to pull it out twice and read it...? Had to ask for water. Risotto was great. Caeser salad dressing had no flavor. Chicken was dry. Was quiet though which was nice. Was an anniversary but nothing special was done or was it even mentioned....
We love brunch there and cocktails but dinner could use some help....
Amazing food! Small but delicious portions. The halibut dishes were juicy, nice clam chowder and the Brussel Spout appy was one of the best I’ve ever had! Fun cocktails!
Nice little location on the bottom level of newer apartment/condo complex. Came during a weekday for lunch, kind of dead with absolutely no wait and no crowds. Patio is excellent for an outside harbor view, good for families, drinks, solo outing, groups, kids and date night, there's a sofa area and pets are welcome, even kitties, meow! Very clean modern and casual decor inside and out, roomy. Diverse menu, brunch only on weekends, they also have a kids menu. Easy close parking, disabled friendly. Prices are on the higher side, food and drinks were good, full bar, have had better tacos, large menu with plenty to explore. Biggest downside is the outside patio can get noisy with overhead passing airplanes, it is directly on the flight path for PDX, no way to get around that one. Nice spot to visit.
Great view of marina. Outdoor tables. Planes flying overhead periodically. Wait staff are perfect!
We have eaten here twice, both times with groups. The food and service have been excellent. Last time we sat outdoors on a very pleasant evening. The view of the marina from the deck is very nice. We arrived by boat, which made the trip more fun. The only down side is that the restaurant is directly under the PDX flight path, so conversation is paused as planes fly over if you are outside. Try the brussel sprouts. I'm not a fan of brussel sprots and one of our companions declared that she would never eat them, but she tasted the 3 Sheets version and is a convert.
We were surprised to find the restaurant on Hayden Island. It is in a beautiful apartment complex right on the water. The outdoor seating was lovely, overlooking a marina and the Columbia River. The wait staff were wonderful and accommodating as we juggled between inside or outside seating. Both venues were very nice and we enjoyed our food. The food: fish and chips, scallops, crab cakes and clam chowder, were terrific. Will certainly return with friends!
Everything was great but the music was way too loud and annoying for brunch. Just for that reason we couldn't wait to get out of there.
We enjoyed sitting outside on the patio for a pleasant Saturday evening. We both ordered the Halibut fish and chips which were good ($24.00 -menu states market price). Service was on the slow side--maybe short staffed?
Great service staff, fresh seafood, cute decor, out back on the water behind everything with inside and outside seating
Great as always, new menu is the hit with Fried Rice and brussel sprouts
View is gorgeous, service was fine - food was just OK. Wanted to like it more than I did.
The service was incredible. They were so accommodating, as we had many changing needs with 4 kids. They made us feel like it was easy, and took great care of us!
I always love the 4th at the harbor. Kind of sad not as many people came this year compared to last. I noticed it wasnt advertised on fb like last year . I know the HOA of the condos does hassle people trying to get it . He did it to me this year and last year. I had reservations this year and showed him a screen shot. He kept asking for a code word. The screen shot and my lyft driver ended up being ok
We were a group of ladies our food requests were handled with perfection. Service was great. Sat inside but going back for happy hour on the deck at the top of my list.
Fathers Day brunch. Food took one hour and 15 minutes to come out of the kitchen. But not all the food was ready. So 3 of 5 people got to start eating. They rushed my son’s bacon and eggs (it was the most paltry kid’s breakfast I’ve ever seen). I asked the server “Does this look like
3 sheets never disappoints. The view, happy hour, and service are always great in my opinion
Great place to eat dinner and relax close to the water. Highly recommended! This time we chose to eat outside but it was a mistake because they have kids running around playing corn hole and being loud.
Ground floor location in a condo project. Indoor and outdoor seating so good options for any weather situation. Patio seating area has a fire pit so you can stay warm after the sun goes down. Worst thing was there were a couple creepy guys hanging out on the deck of the condo a floor up, ogling the younger women at the outdoor tables. Gave me the heebee jeebies just knowing that he was so obviously checking out the women diners. Otherwise it would have been a relaxing time, watching the boat traffic on the river.
Excellent Halibut and very creative scallop dish. Both are delicious new offerings. Love this place.
We came to celebrate my Granddaughters high school graduation. We had excellent service and the as always the food was great. We loved sitting outside.
We've enjoyed this hidden gem in the past and were eager to share this "island secret"with friends. However, many menu items were not available. We were told they were changing their menu.
Fish n Chips: batter not fully cooked; tasteless tartar sauce, slaw and fries.
Cubano Sandwich: flat and uninteresting. Don't expect a Cuban sandwich.
We took friends to dinner for a special treat. Now we will invite them out again for a 'do over' somewhere else.
Great food and service! We sat out on the patio with my mother-in-law and the music was a little loud for her. We probably should have sat inside which would have been better for her.
Food and atmosphere was nice. Perfect on a sunny day. Service was slow and poor. Our server forgot a few items we had asked for, forgot to refill our waters twice even after asking. Otherwise it’s a great location!
Our waitress was awesome! Loved the food and service. 👍👍
Went for Mother’s Day and it was perfect! Food was amazing and our server was awesome. Everything is made fresh and good quality. The cocktails are yummy as well made with fresh fruits. Highly recommend
This was one of the only establishments that didn’t double the cost of their brunch for Mother’s Day. Prices were the same - very reasonable. There was a small added Mother’s Day menu but again, prices were very reasonable. All staff were amazing. Our server Steve went above and beyond to make sure the Moms felt special and kept our drinks topped off or refreshed without us ever asking. We loved being able to sit outside and were grateful that the outdoor heaters were already fired up and warming our area upon our arrival. This place is top notch with great food, great service and a great atmosphere.
Service was nicely paced for brunch. Nice menu. Vegetarian Benedict was fantastic. My sons classic bene not so good as his eggs Rock hard even after we specified runny yolks.... being 15 and not able to wait to send back- he ate them. Cheesecake dessert was yummy as was grapefruit mimosa.
Grace was very attentive and sweet.
It was a chilly morning & would have been nice if outdoor heaters were ready to light. We were chilled and heaters were finally up and working after several attempts after we’d eaten...😢.
Food was overall nicely presented and quality ingredients. We will come back as it’s lovely setting on the marina as well.
What a horrible experience. We have been there in the past but it will be hard for us to return. Service was very, very slow. Took 40 minutes for bread and butter to be delivered. Another 40 minutes for dinner to be served. Upon arrival of my steak was not even room temperature. I sent it back and received another one and I had so much butter on it I thought I was at the movie theater eating popcorn! Completely ruined the steak for me. The manager on duty, never took the time to come over and greet us, let alone address our concerns. Although I did not pay for the steak it was hard for me to pay for anything other than the cocktails which are always great. Needless to say, I was very disappointed as I know that they could do better!
I have been to 3 Sheets in the past and really loved everything about it so I decided to take my family out for Mother’s Day dinner. I made a reservation for 4 people at 7pm with a note saying we would prefer an outdoor table because it was a 90 degree day. When we got there we waited for a bit but were seated at a table on the patio. We had about three different waiters come up and try to take our drink orders when we weren’t given a drink menu. Once we acquired a menu we ordered some drinks and they were decent. The waitress showed up in a timely matter to take our orders. My whole family had 2 drinks before we started wondering where our food was. By this time the sun had gone down and the patio got very windy and cold. We saw some space heaters but our waitress was no where to be found so we were all freezing. About 1 hour and 30 minutes later my mom and dad got there food. My mom got the fish taco which had little to no fish on them and came out in flour tortillas when the menu promised corn. My father ordered the special which was a shrimp fettuccine. It was clear his meal had been sitting out for a while as the sauce was separating and the noodles were dry and undercooked. 20 minutes into my parents meals my brother and I revived our food which came out decent. My father let the waitress know that his food was terrible and it was the worst experience he had ever had in a restaurant. We received lots of apologies and they ended up comping our food. After this experience I will probably not be returning to 3 sheets nor will my family. I’m bummed because the ambiance of the outdoor patio is amazing in the summer but it’s not worth a long wait for bad food.
Service was slow and food was cold. Too bad, because it has potential for being a great place. Otherwise quality is there, just not executed well.
Ashante, our waiter, was the best thing about our experience and he was terrific! We placed our orders only to find out that the dishes two of the four of us ordered had been removed from the menu. Of course we didn't know this until the order went into the kitchen. My husband instead chose the eggplant and pasta dish only to have to send it back because it was so spicy neither of us could eat it...and we both like spicy. In the 40+ years we've been together it's only the second dish we have had to return to the kitchen. He ordered a hamburger cooked medium and although it tasted ok, it was well-done and arrived after the rest of us had finished eating. My (second choice) chicken sandwich consisted of over-cooked, dry chicken with hardly any sauce to moisten it. The two sandwiches, two drinks, and an appetizer (plus tip for Ashante...did I mention he was terrific??) was $80.00.
This was my second visit. I will definitely go again.
We gambled on this little gem as an alternative to other crazy busy restaurants on Easter Sunday. None of us had been there and didn’t know what to expect. We were all thoroughly delighted. The service was exceptional. The staff was extremely friendly and accommodating. The food was excellent. I look forward to returning on a warm summer evening to enjoy the great patio location on the river.
