We liked the place but were very disappointed with the food. The appetizer lobster ravioli sauce was very salty and was the same sauce as the grouper entree had. The grouper had been frozen and was hard and dry and expensive. There was no fresh fish on the menu. We really just wanted lobster but you had to buy a steak with the lobster tail. Several restaurants have also started doing this combo which makes for a very heavy meal. We were thinking we would return this trip, but the food turned us off.
Great view of the marina and management was visible and very attentive.
Food was very good but very small portions for the price. The restaurant is lovely and the staff was outstanding.
Not only was the food mediocre but it was also served cold.
Almost gave this 5 stars all the way across; wish there was 4 1/2 or 4 3/4 stars.
The cocktails were amazing to start. Our party of 3 got each a different one, and they were all great. The appetizers were a bit more hit and miss. The octopus and lobster dumplings were amazing, but the ceviche was under-seasoned and had a lot of liquid that was kind of bland, we barely ate any of it.
Entrees were all fantastic too. We had the grouper with crab, the veal and the steak and lobster. Each of us thought we had the best dish.
Dessert was also surprisingly delicious (to me), as my guests ordered the one dessert I did not want, the lemon curd, and it was very good.
Service was almost perfect too, and I feel I am nit-picking here... our actual waitress was great, I hate I cannot recall her name. But the server-assistant was almost too attentive... our table was checked on every 5 minutes for the entire 2 hour dinner, or so it seemed, which would be like 20 times - a lot of interruptions.
Ambiance was fantastic.
Don't get me wrong at all - we will be back very soon and this may become a new favorite spot on island.
We initially went to restaurant down below but realized it was up top. We ate outside on the deck and it was beautiful, just enough shade for our early dinner.
Food was AMAZING! My daughter and father had lobster ravioli, I had a vegetarian curry that was one of my best meals of the trip and my son had a penne. My salad was also wonderful. Drink menu was great too. We'd definitely recommend!
Very nice place! Great location! The view of the marina is priceless! Everything we ordered was delicious. Good drinks and desserts. Highly recommend!
Beautiful setting on the water for a delicious meal. Best grouper preparation I’ve had here. I’m from New Orleans and chef is apparently as well, so there was a Louisiana influence. Loved it! Will definitely go again
Very nice new restaurant in red hook. A bit too much of the buttery sauces for me on the grouper and the lobster dumplings. Should have requested them on the side. Veal chop was butterflied and fried. Tasty albeit fried.
Loved the staff. They were a bit slammed but held onto it well. Had a noisy group next to us that were vaping so that put us off a bit. Definitely recommend it. Good food!
Nice new place. Menu not expansive but okay. Meal ( Wiener schnitzel for me) was good if just a bit over cooked. Waitress was very friendly but a bit overworked. Second drink took 15 minutes. Said bartender busy. Water never refilled despite specific request. Outside on water very nice. Good potential. Hopefully will get better.
Service, food and atmosphere were excellent. High end dining, was perfect for our 5 year anniversary dinner. Almost forgot the specialty drinks were amazing. Banana Cabana with Makers Mark was awesome! Definitely recommend and will be back.
Fabulous location in the Red Hook marina. Great cocktails and super fresh food. Highly recommend.
Food was fine. They bring out “biscuits” to get you started and it looks like 2 large croutons on a plate. I had the lobster and filet, the filet was somehow boring even though it was covered in sauce. My husband said the ribeye was good but he wouldn’t come back for it. We sat outside and it was nice, we were taken care of as well so the service was good. The food just did not taste worth what it costs. It was fine, but I wouldn’t call it a must do. I really don’t want to read an average review but I wish I had seen more of them and we may have been able to try somewhere else
Halibut was delicious! Best prepared fish we had on the island. It was in a very light cream sauce and I’d order it again! Before dinner petite biscuits were a nice touch. Kale caesar had the freshest parmesan. For dessert, the biscuit strawberry shortcake was perfect, not overly sweet, with mascarpone and strawberries. We sat out back on the terrace and enjoyed the atmosphere. This restaurant is on point for only being open a little over a month. It is a nice addition to the restaurants in Red Hook.
Great location overlooking the harbor. Wonderful vibe and great food and service. One of the top restaurants in Red Hook.
There is NOT MUCH on the menu. Very limited. Portions are very small
Great new restaurant in Red Hook. The Veal Chop was amazing as well as the grouper. Cant wait to return for another visit. Highly recommend.
The lobster dumplings and mini biscuits were absolutely incredible. My mouth is watering just thinking about them. Scott was an excellent server and the ambiance is chic without being pretentious. By far our best dining experience in St. Thomas or St. John.
It was a perfect meal and service. Can’t wait to go back.
Excellent new St Thomas restaurant
Cocktails were excellent. Had “outside” reservation, ambience and view were great.
Lobster dumpling was delicious for 2 to split.
Grouper & Surf & Turf was good for entrees. The children’s / kid’s menu pasta with red sauce was “the best” our 7 year old has ever had.
This restaurant is very new. I am not sure if they are still finding their way with their menu but it looks like it changes every day. The meals do not come with a side. Do not order the veal, they butterfly it which is ridiculous. The drinks are good. I would only come back to hang at their lounge. The food is extremely overpriced and not worth it.
The food was delicious, very well prepared and the ambience is nice. I do think for the price point that the portions could be more generous. Also, they do not offer a kids menu, except they say they can make pasta with butter sauce. I think they should give a better kids offering.
Stateside quality service with Caribbean flair and outstanding food. Great experience
The food was wonderful. Our whole experience was great. The only thing is there is no sign for the restaurant
This was our second dinner here in 2 weeks and again we were very pleased. Our server was very attentive, especially given how crowded it was. The food was very good and our party of 4 all liked both the starters and main courses. The cocktails were well made. The decor is very island attractive too. We look forward to returning soon.
Beautiful room with good ventilation with an attractive balcony overlooking the harbor. All the food was delicious though a bit pricy.
Amazing. Very friendly and great food and ambiance.
Food excellent. Took an hour to get a drink after sitting down.. bummer.
Best food and service in St. Thomas! Great ambiance and went back for a second time when we were in town!
Delicious food and amazing cocktails
We went for spring break and it was our last night there and chose this restaurant. It was amazing food and cocktails!! You don’t want to pass this one up.
Finally , another very good restaurant in St Thomas. The deck overlooking the harbor is a bonus. For a place that just opened running smoothly. Definitely on our list for a regular place to go :)
service was good overall but food somewhat expensive for the price.
The restaurant is one of the pricier ones in Red Hook and worth every penny!! Outstanding, beautiful, and lovely attention to detail. GO!!
Great food and an amazing view.
We had reservations and were seated on time. Staff was attentive and friendly. Nice pre-seating area outside at padded benches and tables where our drink orders were taken. Food was excellent as well as the service and timing. We sat outside after dark. The weather was perfect as it almost always is. Lighting was good. Beautiful night of dining while watching the boats come and go in the bay.
