Great setting with excellent service and food
Went for anniversary dinner. The service was outstanding. But the food was not as good as we were hoping. The lobster ravioli tasted like cream of chicken soup. Both fish dishes we got were overly salted and without flavor. The biscuits and dessert were good. Wanted to like the place but I doubt if we will go back.
It was fantastic! Lobster dumplings were delicious. Cocktails were fantastic!
We were on our anniversary trip to St. Thomas and ate every restaurant that the hotel recommended. This was by far the best restaurant of the 7 we went to on the island. Highly recommend it
Excellent food and service. The view is amazing!
Delicious brunch with craft cocktails and amazing hollandaise! Thanks for having us!
Brunch was delicious! Service was amazing! Definitely recommend!
I’m away in USVI for a short vacation. The food and atmosphere here was wonderful!!
Enjoyed dinner at sunset. The ribeye was huge, tender and flavorful. The grouper was delicious as well.
Wonderful meal with an amazing view! The grouper ponchantrain was so good! The service was exceptional! I highly recommend!
There aren’t many restaurants in this area that stray from expectation in Red Hook. 3 Palms is one of them. You can expect to get something different from the menu and the service was attentive. I’d like to see the service during the season.
Drinks, appetizers, and entree were delicious. Plus we had fantastic service.
We had a great dinner. Service was fine, food was delish.
This place is excellent!! The food, drinks, and service was phenomenal. The restaurant (whether indoors or outdoors) was beautiful and clean. If you could splurge a little for some fine dining, we would highly recommend putting this place on your itinerary.
Food was amazing!!! We had the Grouper with crab on top and it was delicious. Would definitely go back.
Angelie was fantastic. Great overall experience!
As usual we were not disappointed with our experience. Our server was fantastic, the food was amazing. The staff all complimented each other nicely and worked as a great team.
The food, ambiance and service were all good, but I found it to be overpriced for the portions.
The food was expensive but the quality was well worth the price. Perfectly cooked and beautifully presented. Slightly skimpy on the accompanying veggies/garnish. Slightly rowdy bar crowd detracted a bit from the fine food.
Excellent food, service, and ambience. Had a great time!
Wow we were disappointed. All reviews were great so maybe we are outlier. Don’t mind spending $200 but would like a little wow. Not last night. Terrible table despite open tables, waited for drinks, forgot to bring bread and food just ok considering the owner also owns Commander’s Palace. Food was cold and we were rushed out in 45 minutes. Go to Oceana, same price but much better experience.
3 Palms provided the best meal we had on St. Thomas. We had a reservation and actually got there early... the hostess was so accommodating and sat us a a great table on the patio overlooking the harbor. The food and drinks were outstanding. We had the beet and goat cheese salad to start. Absolutely delicious! I had the grouper topped with crab and my husband had the wiener schnitzel. Both were excellent and the sauces were silky smooth and deliciously appropriate for the dish. While I had my favorite dirty martini, the drink menu was intriguing and so different the standard St. Thomas fare. Our server was very pleasant and they also had enough bussers/runners who actually knew what they were doing.
Overall a great experience. Agree with other reviewers that it’s hard to find, but worth it. I got the Tagliatelle (not the best choice, but I knew that), my husband got the grouper and the lobster dumplings and it’s the best thing he’s eaten all week. Thanks 3 Palms!
Located in a harbor overlooking boats, this restaurant has a nice deck area and smaller inside area to eat. The food tried to be very eclectic with different menus daily. The lobster pop appetizer was rather gross and none of us liked the fishy stew taste. The lemon lavender cocktail tried to be swanky but tasted medicinal at best. We also had the burrata app which was just ok. We decided to leave after 2 apps and drinks as nothing remaining on the menu appealed to us.
One of our favorite spots. Pricey but the food is good, portions generous, service is good & the wine list adequate. Outdoor tables generally fill up fast. Reservations a must these days.
We loved everything at 3 palms.. in fact we are going back in a few days!
There prices are a little high for me but it’s definitely a special spot
Definitely a favorite on St.Thomas. Grouper Ponchartrain was amazing. Lobster dumplings were great. And the desserts were the best we have had this trip. Highly recommend.
We loved our dinner at 3 Palms. Beautiful patio dining and outstanding food. Excellent service, friendly staff. Highly recommend if you are looking for an upscale dining experience in the busy Red Hook area.
Delicious food , great service , but my Goodness give a bigger portion. Hate leaving hungry on a 300 bill . Even the pasta dish portion was TINY
The lobster appetizer was amazing and so was the ribeye.
It was delicious, albeit a little over priced for what you got. I got the swordfish and it was on point!
3 Palms is one of the best restaurants on St Thomas! We live on island and dine here often. Beautiful setting, amazing service, and the food is always excellent. Highly recommend!
We really enjoyed our experience.
The food was really good, different from the normal breakfast menu. Our non-avocado eaters, actually enjoyed the Avocado Toast. The lobster dumplings were the hit for us. The biscuits with honey butter - yummy!!!
The service was very good - our starters came right out. However, when it started to get busy, we ended up having to wait a long time for syrup for our pancake order. But our server was really humble and sweet, it wasn't worth the fuss. Maybe a second server on Sunday Brunch (Gov't Payday weekends :-))
Otherwise, we will definitely be back and share our 3 Palms experience with our friends.
Overall, really good experience. The grouper with lump crab meat was delicious - 5-stars for this dish. The swordfish was cooked perfectly except the rice was a bit undercooked (crunchy), the lobster dumplings were good, it was not disclosed to us that (still) water would be $25 a bottle, we didn't ask for still water but it was just provided. Nice ambiance.
We would still recommend trying 3 Palms while visiting St. Thomas.
Superbly crafted menu. While somewhat limited in the number of items, the presentation was excellent and the flavors outstanding. We look forward to returning as soon as we can.
On vacation and we wanted a special meal. This was a very good meal and the staff were excellent. The only downside were the mosquitoes that appeared after the sun set.
The lobster dumpling appetizer was great and enjoyed by all 5 guests. The ribeye steak was cooked perfectly with a wonderful seasoning and sauce. Other guests enjoyed their fish offerings. This night, there was no chicken option on the menu which was disappointing; the menu does change daily, so hopefully this was a rare exception. The 3Palms Daquiri was excellent -- smooth, flavorful and good presentation.
Note: Some guests had a hard time finding the place due to no apparent signage anywhere. (It's above the old Molly Malones, if that helps.)
The food is excellent and the service is top notch. We enjoyed sitting outdoors on the balcony.
Amazing food, great service
Everything we ate was excellent. Well prepared and flavorful.
