3 Palms Grille
Dinner out with friends was perfect. First, bravo for having your Happy Hour continue through the weekend. We had no idea and were pleasantly surprised.
Our waiter was very nice and did not rush us at all. We were busy catching up, so he gave us plenty of time. All the food was really good, and we especially enjoyed the
Meatballs and the lobster pot pie. I will also say, there was no skimping on the lobster! We all passed on desert, but continued to enjoy our wine without feeling rushed.
My husband and I had been the 3 Palms several times for lunch, but dinner is now definitely on our list. I strongly encourage everyone to try it.
By the way, there is a wonderful outside area where one can dine, but also enjoy sitting by fire pits. Just wonderful!
Lobster night! Just perfect!
The restaurant is modern but welcoming. I prefer sitting out on the patio overlooking the golf course and the small pond that is plenty full of geese and other water fowl.
The food is always interesting but you can get the basics too! The bar is both inside and outside. 430 to about seven is quite lively with many people both inside and out. After seven the place really quiets down
3 Palms is a real gem - especially on Tuesday evenings when the special is prime rib. Starts with a fabulous blue cheese salad and the beef is accompanied by a twice baked lobster stuffed potato. Service is always excellent.
Unfortunately, I can't recommend 3 Palms Grille any longer. We ordered cocktails to start. Two spicy jalapeno margaritas which unfortunately fell short. We highly recommend these at Poe's Tavern and secondly at the Flying Iguana in Neptune Beach, however at 3 Palms, a NO. App's were so good; Fried Brussels Sprouts w/ almonds et. al.. and Deviled Eggs w/ fried Oysters GREAT! Entrees, not so... Special NY Strip rubbed in coffee in a beef reduction sauce. Sauce great, NY Strip not so (Medium Rare). NY stringy and not tender at MR. Wife had the flounder and shrimp. It was much better than me NY but hey, it's flounder and shrimp that I could cook at home. Ordered a bottle of wine to cover up the bad cocktails, but for $200 all in at the night for 2, not a great experience and we love the setting.
It is a delightful place for lunch. Easy parking.
soup and salad were delicious as was the prime rib special with lobster twice baked potato
Service, setting, food - all really exceptional. In a word GREAT!
A beautiful evening with friends in a beautiful setting. Professional service with outstanding choices on the menu. All 4 of us had different entrees, from veal chop, rack of lamb, steak, to the fish special of black cod, all delicious and plated wonderfully. You will not be disappointed.
Had a nice lunch started with the daily special of Gumbo, and we tried the Brussel Sprout appetizer based on the waitress recommendation. We had a daily special which was a hummus salad which was also very tasty. Great setting as we sat outside!!
Not sure what’s going on lately, but this was second time the service was awful and food just okay. Used to be one of my favorite places.
A group of ladies went for brunch after church on a Sunday. With our reservation, we were able to be seated immediately and ordered our $3.00 mimosas and bloody marys. Waitstaff was prompt and helpful with making us comfortable. The food was good.
I always look for a good pour of wine ,fresh food , and lovely presentation. 3Palms Grille delivers with ease. The wait staff are courteous and the ambiance is upbeat and comfortable.
Extremely slow service this visit, but the food was very good when it finally arrived!
Had a wonderful time
Great place for lazy weekend lunch! Food was much better than I had expected. Pleasantly surprised by solid service and food. I will definitely come back!
Nice Sunday brunch. Good ambiance, good food, and despite the reviews I’ve seen about bad service, our server was excellent. Beautiful views of the golf course, and they had a singer/guitarist that was surprisingly good. We will definitely go back.
Ambiance and service were outstanding. My husbands and son’s meals were delicious. I unfortunately was served a fatty veal chop but the sauce and preparation was also tasty. The manager was gratuitous and took the charge off our bill. We also was given a free dessert. They quickly resolved our problem. We will definitely dine there in the future. Kudos for the amazing service.
E we’re seated close to reservation time. Serviced was friendly and good. Food was beautifully presented and my salmon dish was excellent.
I would recommend however the last time I was there for dinner I was really disappointed. The beet salad was excellent, however main course was not at the same level as the previous times I had was there. No desire to go back anytime soon.
We would like to patronize 3 Palms much more often than we do. It is in our neighborhood; literally, down the street. The remodel of the building, when it opened a few years back is outstanding! A very pleasant visual surprise. However, the food is, and always has been, very spotty. We have been there when all meals for our party were outstanding. Just as often, the food was little more than edible. It’s hard to be enthusiastic when you have no idea, on any given night, what the food will be like. We dined with long-time friends who had never been to 3 Palms and were looking forward to a new and exciting venue. One would think that on a Friday evening, the A Team would be up. Hardly! The food was extremely underwhelming in quality and taste. Our service, unfortunately, was even worse. The young lady who was our server was very inattentive and hard to chase down. Very long lapses between her checking in to see how things were going; absolutely abandoned when the time came to get our check. At the onset, acoustics have been something that should have been addressed. To date, it appears that nothing has been done. Friday night, the roar in the restaurant made it almost impossible to carry on a conversation with our friends. We get this same feedback from other friends and acquaintances who would, also, like to dine here more frequently, but do not, due to the above mentioned difficulties.
Food is very good and atmosphere is wonderful
Great food, great atmosphere!
Service was a little slower than usual because it was packed for Valentine’s Day. But food was great as always!
3 Palms Grille should let Open Table know that if the restaurant inside is full, they automatically put you outside on the porch. We didn’t realize that you had to request Inside or Outside. Valentine’s dinner was great outside for they had live music. Very romantic! It was a little chilly but the staff had heaters on outside. Would definitely go back!
Food was cold, not tasty and our waitress never even came to ask us how our food was. A waste of 150.00. Ambience is nice-that’s it.
We had a lovely Valentines Day dinner at 3 Palms grille. The food was wonderful, our server was friendly and professional. Entrees were a bit long in coming, as it was so busy, but still fine. It was quite noisy, but to be expected as they were full. We've already been back for lunch!
Very nice meal, food was well prepared, service was good, musician was good
Our only real complaint was the noise level. In two straight visits to 3 Palms the noise level is so high it is hard to have a conversation with others at our table. Lots of noise originates in the bar area, but there is little to nothing to absorb the sound in the room. The food is great and the service is pleasant.
3 Palm is a hidden gem. It was a most enjoyable evening.....company,service,food,and ambiance.
It was a fabulous meal, served perfectly. We have been to the Palms many times and this was one of the best meals
Delicious Brunch! Try the Bloody Mary! We had the Chicken and Waffles and the Hash with Blackened Shrimp...both were great!
Food was very good. Lunch time and the kitchen was very slow. Waitress could not have been nicer and more apologetic, but that did not compensate
We LOVE the lobster special on Wednesday’s in addition to the other menu items.
went on a weekend night it was not too crowded or noisy. The food was excellent. The service was very good and also they have a happy hour!
Salmon dinner was fantastic. Drinks were spot on as well. Great atmosphere.
I have dined at 3 Palms Grille several times and always find the food to be excellent. Last time it was super loud but not the case this time - it was very quiet. However, this time the service was not very good. Server didn't bring bread and butter plates, no steak knife for cutting the prime rib and no utensils for eating dessert. We had to wait to get her attention even though the restaurant was not crowded. She seldom came around to our table, and we always had her for everything.
My feedback would be that for the prices charged, the food, ambiance and service should be excellent and that was not the case.
Our first time here and we will definitely be back! We’d booked for dinner but found a great patio and fire pit waiting for us, with happy hour to 7! Dinner was delicious, service outstanding!!!
The food was really good and the portions were good for the price. Loved the atmosphere. We will be back
