    Love to spend time at 3 horses and bring friends and out of town guest. It’s so beautiful and all the employees are nice and professional. The food is delicious but a bit pricy for some items. We all loved our meals but I miss some of the items from the old menu. We will be back because we do love this establishment.

    New chef and menu is taking some getting used to. Our waiter Bruce was terrific. He’s the highlight of 3 Horse Ranch. Very knowledgeable about wine.

    I found 3 Horse Ranch on Google and booked their wine pairing dinner for our Anniversary. The owner Martha contacted us in advance to answer and questions. She was present at the dinner and ensured she took time conversing with the guests. Upon arrival a staff member greeted us on the patio with a cocktail. They just started the dinners in July, and the food and presentation was impressive. The Chef also made time to introduce his dishes to the guests. It was about a 45 min drive from Boise, but worth it. If you are driving on a country road with nothing in sight for some time don't worry, soon you crest a hill and see the green vines among the landscape. Only recommendation is some nice jazz or dinner music and possibly dim the lighting a bit for dining.

    Great afternoon at the winery. As always, food was good though calamari could be more crisp and charcuterie tray is fairly small for the price. French dip and chicken salad sandwiches were excellent. 3 Horse red wines are wonderful. Perfect place to hang out with friends where you never feel rushed.

    Our first visit on a Sunday and it was a busy place. The food and service were excellent as always. We were part of a birthday celebration and it was very nice. We are wine club members so we combined the celebration with our regular wine pick up.

    Server was good and food was good. Only issue we had was the dinner took more than a half hour to get to us....thats a bit long. Might want to look at that. Server talked about "internet problems". Anyway, we had a good time and will be back!

    We had an amazing time for my best friends birthday, she was very happy and really enjoyed the whole experience. The waiter was very attentive, and really helped us have an incredible time. There was a loud party going on, which I did not expect in the indoor area, but we still had a great time and a relaxing day of wine and wonderful food.     The food and wine as well as the ambience is always great here. Occasionally we get a server who isn’t very attentive and it detracts somewhat from the experience, but the seasoned servers are top notch.

    Really enjoyed our time at three horse ranch the four of us each had something different for dinner the bruschetta steak was done perfectly the viola was good but not the best I've had. The tri-tip sandwich on ciabatta was very good. The blue cheese chips appetizer was excellent. We had three flights of wine which we enjoyed.

    Very disappointed with the new menu. There were 6 regulars and all were dissatisfied. We have been going there for seven years and this was our go to with out of town guests. I do not understand what they are trying to accomplish. Appears only the french onion soup is the same. Seem to be shifting to more seafood and small tapas plates. Ordered 2 hamburgers well done. One was, the other med-rare. Sent it back and 20 minutes later it arrived no better. Appears they butterflied and re-fired the original patty. Never re-fire protein after it leaves the kitchen! Served the same fries that were on the original plate. I wish Gary and Martha the best but we are now only wine pickup customers. I hope they get more new customers than regulars they are sure to lose. Bottom line….if it ain’t broke don’t fix it.

    Really beautiful vineyard, the ambiance was great, food was great, service was top notch. It was a great experience. But one thing I would say is, the route on google maps, and Lyft to the place is scary, there’s no phone service there and you need to be driving yourself else there’s no public transportation back. The Chef was very kind enough to bring us back to our Airbnb, I would definitely visit again and be prepared, loved ,loved everything

    It’s time to right the ship. We have been loyal customers and wine club members for a long time. But the new menu isn’t working … and the food quality has plummeted. We hope the new chef will find his footing and that the menu will be re-evaluated.

    Sorry to submit this review. We are wine club members and have thoroughly enjoyed our experiences at 3 Horse Ranch UP TO THIS POINT. Other than the wine and ambience everything seems to have degraded. Our server delivered the wrong soup, was so-so helpful/attentive. The food was very disappointing and definitely over-priced for the value. The menu has changed and a major disappointment. We’ll continue to be wine club members and long for the possible return to the old menu and traditional level of service. In the meantime we’ll just enjoy the wine.     They changed the menu and have a new chef. Our two favorite things were taken off the menu (The artichoke dip and the chicken sandwich). All four of us had the carrot salad as a side which was awful. It had an overwhelming spice in it. (Cumin?). We told the waitress and she said they have gotten that feedback a lot and she has told the chef but he doesn’t want to change it. Our hamburger was just okay. We ordered it medium rare and it came medium well done. Our friends had the fish tacos which were also just okay. Definitely not as good as the last time we ate there. The outdoor patio ambiance is really nice. Our waitress was nice and accommodating but the wait was long. I’d think twice about going back.
