We were greeted by one of the owner and seated promptly and a very nice table in the dining room. Our waiter was very nice, cordial but for me was a little too chatty and over attentive. But on the other hand guess that is better than Not Attentive,

We had 3 for 33.00 and everything ordered was delicious.

Yummy fresh pasta. And while ambiance was more for adults, they were wonderful with our two younger kids, allowed them to draw on paper tablecloth and whipped up a fantastic spaghetti meatball!

Food and service was amazing. Restaurant was full and noisy.

We had no clue there was such a great restaurant within walking distance. It is a great restaurant. It is one where you can carry on a conversation without shouting. It's beautiful inside. Our server was attentive without being obsequious; very pleasant and helpful.

Overall a wonderful experience. I heartily recommend it.

3 Doors Down has been around for over 20 years and it is still very excellent and dependable in both food and service. The menu and prices are great! I would go weekly if it was in my neighborhood! It is still one of my favorites in PDX.

I thought the food and service were excellent. My comment is that you don’t get a lot of food. I think they could do better by increasing portion size.

We have been going to 3 Doors Down Café for 25 years and it never disappoints. The fish preparation is the best in the city. And the pastas and risottos are superb. The staff are incomparable.

What a fun restaurant! Casual and neighborhood-y with lovely food. We had three different pasta dishes, each had its own unique depth of flavor -- which indicates to me that all were made with care and expertise. Our server was fantastic.

Everything on the menu is great. Clams are best on West Coast. Chicken always roasted to perfection. Handmade pasta. What more could you want?

This is one of our favorite restaurants in Portland, but we were disappointed with the food on this occasion.

Delicious Italian food using fresh ingredients. Friendly and casual, tables well spaced. Shared appetizers of chicken liver pate with grilled bread, capers and onions plus fried marinated mushrooms. Mains of squash soup, ricotta cavatelli with meatballs and broccoli raab, and a very lightly battered Petrale sole. Excellent! We all noted that each dish was good. Desserts - banana cream pie, tiramisu. Will definitely return. Shout out to our server who magically refilled our water glasses while remaining almost invisible, who was so helpful with recommendations and with who we had a lovely chat when leaving.

My husband and I were delighted with our dinner at Three Doors Down. Our table was cozy right by the window. We were greeted warmly by the host and server. My squash soup was fantastic and my husband thought his rock fish was delicious. We would definitely go back.

Really enjoyed the meal and service. The new owners are off to a great start. The scallop appetizer was excellent. They are known for the vodka sauce, and it is delicious. The Manhattan and the blood orange sour were both tasty cocktails. I’ll be back.

Owner came to the table to ask how everything was. Food was delicious and we were able to take our time without being rushed out. A++

We made reservations for a 60th birthday. I noted that it was a birthday in the opentable reservation. It was a little disappointing when we got there because we waited at least 5 minutes until someone spoke to us about a table - and there were staff passing us by. At no time did anyone acknowledge the birthday. That said, after we were seated, the service and food was very good - but a bit pricey. It is a noisy place. I remember when it was smaller and cozier.

Everything was very enjoyable until the noise level made it difficult to hear one another at our table of four.

We have been going to 3 Doors Down for years. We returned this weekend for an anniversary dinner. The place is still stellar. Excellent food, service, and environment. Highly recommend this restaurant.

Always a favorite in our family, we've been regulars here for years; food and drinks are always top-notch, but it's really the people that make this place special. Recently, I had the pleasure of celebrating my mother's 73rd birthday here and the 3 Doors crew went out of their way to make it special - thank you!

3 Doors Down is one of our favorite restaurants. We've been going there for 10 years, and it has been consistently great; from cocktails to appetizers to pastas and entrees, we have never had anything that wasn't wonderful. And yes, they don't lower the quality when it comes to deserts...I've never been a big fan of banana cream pie, until I tasted the one they serve here. It's really something.
