New to Ramen, so it was a great experience. The restaurant was clean, cool atmosphere and service was outstanding. She took time to explain the different options and made suggestions. Very attentive and a cool young lady. I thought the food was great. I look forward to going back and trying more items. It's nice to have a place where they actually cook and not just deep fry or microwave something. Must needed in this city.

I’d been wanting to try this place on one of my quarterly trips to Evansville and am glad I finally made it in. It’s always been super busy and so luckily, they had reservations on Open Table. The food was all really great! The decor is interesting and the old building is a cool setting for the restaurant. We did go 2 days after Christmas so I’m offering some grace, but the service was not very good. I’m guessing they were short staffed. It took about 20 minutes or more for them to take our order once seated and quite a while to get our food out. I will say our server was really great with coming by with water refills. Would definitely go back to try more on the menu.

Consistently, hands-down, one of the best restaurants in Evansville. Food is always spot on and amazing. Staff is very friendly, helpful and genuinely seems to enjoy taking care of customers. We are never disappointed here and it’s our second favorite restaurant in Evansville next to Pangea Kitchen. Every time I bring first timers, they always comment about how good it is, and that they will return.

The food is always delicious and the service is impeccable. Highly recommend the Pork Belly Buns, Chashu Pork Ramen, and the Honey Toast! Their steak and tuna is wonderful as well. If you have any dietary restrictions or want their staff’s recommendations, they are very knowledgeable and extremely helpful.

The Tan Tan Ramen was delicious. I ordered the cheesecake and it was dry, crumbly, and a little disappointing. Service was excellent. Love the decor and the ambiance.

A limited menu with amazing, very well done dishes. Incredibly fresh ingredients. We started with vegetarian dumplings (perfectly cooked), then had a bowl of the smoked pork ramen and a bowl of vegetarian ramen. Each were outstanding. For dessert had the honey toast. I couldn’t stop eating this! It said shareable but I could have eaten the whole thing…it was that delicious! I got the strawberry sake and it tasted like I was drinking strawberries. Overall the food was pricey but worth every bite

Excellent…everything was perfect, great cocktails, the Cucumber Mule, so good. The bartender was very knowledgeable. Our server was very knowledgeable about the menu and made awesome recommendations. The vegetable dumplings are 💯, the Tan Tan Ramen 10/10. Go to NW 2nd Street and expand your food horizon, you won’t regret it! Thank you 2nd Language for a perfect Friday evening☮️

The venue is not very handicap friendly. You must call on your phone a number to have a crew member come and take you up on an elevator. Then you must maneuver through a hallway that is partially blocked by a small rack/shelf with boxes protruding that prohibit access with a held walker. This rack should be moved since it is a hazard.

If you do not want to make the call for the elevator escort on a future visit please park in the handicapped space in the parking lot on the back side of the restaraunt (north side). The smells when you first enter let you know you are in for a special treat! The food, service, everything is phenomenal! My date suggested you change the name of the honey toast to hot sex on a plate, don't let being full be the reason you deprive yourself of this delectable dish!

Eclectic decor and amazing food. Price point was spot on and perhaps even low for the quality. The Spicy Asian Chicken Sandwich was not in the least spicy. The Ramen? Perfect broth and so many toppings I could barely see liquid. The Korean Fried Rice was beyond perfection. We had pork gyoza which could benefit from a bit of cabbage or green onion to break up the heaviness but the flavor profile and crispiness were on point. Now, the honey toast. Life changing. Miso caramel? I never would have thought! It was phenomenal and even elevated the absolutely perfect gelato. Perfect for birthdays, dates, or just a casual lunch away from the office.

Fantastic atmosphere. Staff is great. The inly complaint is that the server didn’t understand we wanted the kid’s ramen and brought us the regular ramen, which the kid only ate 1/3 of, and we couldn’t take it home because we had other plans afterwards. But she was otherwise very good - excellent energy and attitude. I am not a fan of ramen noodles but the broth is amazing. I did order the ahi tuna special, and it was great. I recommend for a nice eveing out, having a different cuisine than otherwise found in Evansville. I’d go back to try other options. Great place overall.
