I rarely write reviews: I'd been before Covid and meant to come back sooner, but finally returned. I like the space and the drinks BUT my 2nd trip to 2nd floor was a much worse experience with the policies. PS I', usually not fussy nor ask for particulars when I go out to eat/drink. With that preface: This bar does NOT seem to have a terrific sense/definition of service. Fundamentally, it seemed to be about what makes things easier for employees and management vs. what makes for a pleasing experience for their customers. Case in point: 1) My date and I arrived with a reservation to a mostly empty space. They seated us at a small table next to other customers. It was early. Everyone of the 5-6 booths was empty. We asked if it was okay for us to sit in one of them and were told no: they were all reserved and are for larger parties they had coming. NONE of them had anybody in them for the next 90+ minutes when finally 2 were occupied by the time we left after 2+ hours. 2) I messed up and dropped/broke a glass when refilling my date's water. I felt awful and it was awkward. The staff WAS attentive and very helpful. My date was really easy going about it, but after that, we asked if it's okay if we sit at the bar from here (to get past the mess/to reset). They said fine, so we moved... BUT: a) She sat in seat #2 in a bar of 6 seats where #5/6 where occupied. As soon as I helped her in and started to take seat #3, an employee said, "You can't sit there: take either seat #1/2 or #3/4." Still not crowded inside and if we needed to move for another couple, we would have, BUT they made us move to seat #1/2. It was dumb and awkward. My date was like, "I have never had that happen." b) Insult to injury: when we sat at the bar, they put a check in front of me for the table portion of orders, (no explanation). In this day and age, they should be able to transfer a check oe they should say something or give both at the end if they must. It was unprofessional(ly handled).

We were not aware that the 2nd floor no longer served the food menu listed on open table. So the upstairs only had two appetizer items available. As we were hungry & expecting more than just bites, The staff was extremely nice and accommodated us at a table downstairs for a delicious meal. Pastrami was fabulous!

We were one of the few tables in the place. Service was good. Drinks were good. The menu is very unique so definitely look that over before booking. It was super dark which didn't negatively impact our experience but again a heads up if you decide to book.

More fun than fabulous, this is definitely more of a bar than a restaurant. But the manager was extremely accommodating and our waitress was terrific, so overall we had a good experience. Drinks are front and center and they are all delicious. If you are hungry, the best bet is the Happy Hour deal which features a 1/2 a classic deli sandwich. Other plates are creative, but small. Options are very limited for those with dietary restrictions.

This place is set up as your ideal date spot. The music is loud and does not match the vibe! This is not a night club and i’m unsure why they continue to play loud pumping music. I could hear every table next to me complaining about how loud and terrible music was. it truly ruins the overall experience of how wonderful this place could be! i’m finally writing this review after having the same experience over 5 times!

We celebrated our first anniversary there and they made sure to make it such a special occasion. The food was delicious and it was pretty crowded for a Monday evening- we were happy to see it doing so well!

Obviously not a happy hour locale - nobody there at 6:00. A few there when we left at 7:30. Creative cocktails, creative menu, ambiance terrible - dark, no excitement. Bartender called it romantic; me not so much.

Great spot for a late night drink and snacks (good that it is Kosher!) Had a small group of friends for a birthday gathering and it was really nice.. Food was good and ambiance was fun. would go back again.

It's really cute. It's hidden, it's fun to go because it's hidden :) It made me feel like a kid going in. The place is fairy large, it looks like somebody's living room somewhat. Very casual and cozy, the service was great and we go to try sips of other cocktails, waitress was so nice, it's a cute little neighborhood place to go, great for causal date night, or just with your friends.

Interesting, creative menu, but didn't like the food. Owner tried to make it up to us with complementary dish, but unfortunately didn't like that either... deviled eggs were good. Grapefruit way over infused, dumplings over fried, jerky is tiny portion. Perogis ok. Cocktails decent, but wouldn't go for food.
