I always enjoy 2941. Even during COVID they've managed to preserve the lovely experience, and I especially appreciated the 12ft+ between tables. Drinks were amazing. The salmon entrée wasn't my favorite but everything else was delicious. Great value for Restaurant Week for 3 courses, and my husband had the tasting menu. Only downside would be that silverware was served in plastic wrapping with a cotton paper towel. While I understand it's a COVID precaution, it seemed unfitting to the restaurant and I imagine there's another way to be sanitary and get more appealing presentation.

Food was great. The sommelier was simply amazing - you could literally visualize the origins of the wine & even the food before it came. And the pairings were excellent.

Wonderful experience head to toe. Great food. Not crazy about the oysters.

I didn’t like that we were left waiting before we could even place our drink order and then rather than letting us enjoy our cocktails our waiter wanted to take our menu orders as the drinks were served. Been to 2941 several times and the food wasn’t up to par, especially given the prices. We usually like the restaurant but we’ll be looking around.

We loved every minute! We enjoyed the bartender Eli so much, we stayed at the high top in front of the koi pond for our fabulous Anniversary dinner! A fabulous experience! Thank you 2941! We’ll be back!

The staff and ambience are superb.

The service was excellent. The food was delicious. Seating during COVID-19 was arranged very well. I was comfortable eating inside.

I have been coming to '2941' since it first opened, was later married in the garden and we held our wedding dinner here.

It was unfortunately dark early and quite cold the other night, but we still had a most enjoyable time, dining and watching the koi lolling in their spacious pond. The duck breast was excellent as was the special version of filet mignon.

Excellence is still regularly on the menu!

Great experience during COVID times with plenty of distance between tables & excellent food.

The New Year's Eve menu was a fixed price fare. My wife and I chose the four course menu and, in fact, both chose exactly the same four courses. My only very minor quibble with the food was the pasta and seafood dish. It seemed thrown together and lacked a theme to me. Each individual part: pasta, clam, mussel, prawn, etc was good but didn't mesh in my mind. And we could have used a spoon with that dish to get to the broth...
Everything else was delicious and excellent and in just the right proportions....
The staff is top notch as always.
We've been there many times and will be coming back....

Went for New Year’s Eve dinner and was very happy with the covid protocols. Plenty of space btw tables, all staff in masks, silverware in bags, and the ceilings are so high.

The food was great- large portion sizes for a 4 course menu. We pretty much got all the options between me and my husband. The first course dishes were my favorite.

Again we had an amazing experience at 2941 for our anniversary. The food is outstanding and service is top notch!

Everything was incredible. From the moment you walk in, you’re greeted by someone to check you in. There was plenty of space and more than enough attention from the from the staff to make sure our drinks were full and the food was at our table. I really appreciated the waiter staff knowing everything about the whole menu. The food was amazing and this felt like a Michelin star level restaurant. I’ll definitely be coming back and recommend this to anyone looking for a beautiful place to eat with amazing food.

Anniversary dinner with my wife, we both had the Chef's tasting menu, which was apparently a very popular choice that night. Service was impeccable, food was outstanding. Two minor issues - black truffle on the beet carpaccio was flavorless (?!), and one of the lamb chops arrived undercooked, but that was taken care of immediately. Otherwise a very memorable meal.

The Christmas Eve dinner was excellent, that includes food and service, the place was open and thoughtfully decorated to make one feel special.

Exceptional cuisine, service, AND COVID precautions. Chef Chemel and team provide a memorable experience. Hours later, we're still talking about it.

Food was very disappointing. they offered a rack of lamb, it took an hour to arrive only to be a tiny piece leas than an ounce. The dessert was hard and dry with no moisture. Overly priced for the quality and quantity you get.

We scheduled Christmas Eve dinner at the last minute & it was the most perfectly elegant and socially-distanced meal. We opted to try the 4-course chef’s tasting menu with the generously portioned wine pairing & it was a fantabulous gastronomic experience. I loved every course starting with the scallop ceviche, roasted Turbot, organic filet mignon, and finishing off with Mont-Blanc for dessert. It was quite the splurge but this Yuletide meal was expertly crafted, certainly memorable, & extra-special.

2941 has to be one of if not the best restaurants in the DC area. Beautiful setting, terrific food, perfect service. What's not to like.
