Wonderful place for outstanding cuisine. Highly recommended. Beautiful outdoor surroundings including a koi pond
I think this restaurant is one of the most beautiful restaurants in the DC area. It’s located in the first floor of an office building in Falls Church with glass walls that run to the high ceilings (25 feet?). The art is colorful and interesting. The koi pond in the front is gorgeous with huge koi, and there is a waterfall that runs down the side. And the food is excellent. I enjoyed the 3 course tasting lunch menu very much. The only negative is the service could be a bit better, and the hostess did not smile once or make us feel welcome. But it’s still a top restaurant.
Always a pleasure to dine here. A beautiful space, excellent service and lovely food.
The scenery is superb. The location is off the beaten path. The food is excellent...try the tomato soup! Service is unobtrusive and first rate. The ambiance is perfect for small groups as the restaurant is spacious.
The locale and food was marvelous. Service was great but simply felt like it was too much. Since it was early and quiet, felt a little hovered over. But overall, excellent as always.
Incredible experience. The food, presentation and the environment. Just great.
Superb anniversary dinner celebration. Excellent and attentive service along with great food and drinks in a picturesque setting.
The service was outstanding and the food was delicious!
My girlfriend and I did the six-course tasting menu and it was fantastic. The tomato tart and the sable fish really stood out as exceptional, but every course was delicious and executed to perfection. The service provided by Julio was also exceptional. I will most definitely be requesting him when we return.
Lovely surroundings, delicious food and excellent service!
Great food - very well combined textures and tastes!
Beautiful setting, great food, impeccable service—what more could you want?
The ambiance was great. Depending on the dish, food was fair-to-good. The service was spotty. For what you get, this restaurant is way overpriced. For the money I’d go somewhere else.
Celebrated my birthday and enjoyed the awesome 5 course chefs tasting menu.
Wonderful relaxing beautiful place. Excellent food. Service is slow. Had to flag down the waiter every time. But definitely worth it!!
We were very disappointed. As patrons felt let down. $275 lunch would not have stung if it was good. Unfair to let us down on a special occasion. A wedding was underway and my guest assumes that caused our bad experience. She had to insist the waiter bring my lunch after an extra ordinary long wait. Guess others don't speak up just don't return.
We had a fabulous meal to celebrate my friend’s birthday. Veronica O was our server, she was excellent. Her suggestion for the scallops on risotto with a lobster cream sauce was awesome. She was very attentive and gave special attention to my 95 year old friend, which made her day and put a lasting smile on her face. Another friend had the salad with coat cheese and she commented how fresh it tasted. Great bday celebration!
We visited for our 18th wedding anniversary and it was amazing! We love this place. The food and service never disappoints. Our server rocked. I even made a point to stop and tell the manager how well he took care of us.
I had the lobster fettuccini and my husband had the duck! We loved it! Perfectly prepared.
I would like to compliment our server Veronique. Her service was impeccable. Her attention to detail, her knowledge of the food and wine and her timing in her service was excellent. Plus she was happy doing her job which made us happy. Veronique enhanced our enjoyment of our birthday celebration !!
Best restaurant in the Washington area
Fantastic place! Great food, excellent service, and excellent overall experience.
Way overpriced and the portion sizes are WAY too small. You know it’s bad when you spend $150 on dinner for two and both people need to go get something to eat afterwards.
Went to the bar first where the bar-tenders did an exemplary job of ignoring me. I had to ask to be served! The restaurant was just so-so. Food was mediocre. I won’t go there again.
Excellent experience and will definitely come back.
Wonderful views, great service, interesting cocktails, and an overall lovely evening.
The service is exceptional as are the food and drinks. We love this place for special occasions and as long as the tuna tartar appetizer stays on the menu, we will keep coming here! Their house old fashioned is also fantastic if you like that sort of cocktail.
The views are also very pleasant, so it's great to go when it's still light out if not for lunch.
Wonderful Father’s Day dinner. Once again, the chef and staff did not disappoint.
Beautiful atmosphere outside. Food was delicious. Service was exceptional
We went on Father's Day; the restaurant is not usually open on Sundays unless it's a holiday. They had a three-course prix fixe menu for $85.00. My wife and I both had the oysters and lobster; four of the chilled bi-valves, plus half a lobster tail. The lobster meat had been carefully removed from the shell, cut into bite-size pieces, and put back into the shell. Excellent. My daughter-in-law had the gazpacho, which looked beautiful; my son had the avocado and crab appetizer, which he thoroughly enjoyed. They also offered soft-shell crab tempura, which looked beautiful; I almost ordered it.
Wife had filet mignon and shrimp, son and I had 14 oz rib-eye steak, DIL had risotto. All great. Desserts were fantastic. The service was excellent. I was surprised that a 20% service charge had been added; it was less than I would have tipped, so I added to it.
Consistently excellent food and flawless service. Creative dishes and an impressive wine list. Our go to spot for special occasions or simply a nice night out.
The place you want to go for a special occasion. The food is superb, the atmosphere is cozy and the staff very attendant! Kudos to Sommelier Keith Bevin, who is both knowledgeable and attentive. We brought 2 bottles of our own wine (2008 Clouds Rest Pinot and 2014 Clouds Rest Sav. Blanc and Keith gave us notes on both and made the experience even more entertaining than normally. I highly recommend 2941, which is a little off the beaten path in Fairfax, but well worth the trip!!
Julio and Keith saved the evening as we were seated a half hour past our time but the manager comped our drinks and was very professional as well. Food was great, interaction with staff and all had a great time, wwe will definitely be back.
2941 never disappoints! The service is friendly, welcoming and professional, and they pay attention to details. The food is delicious, and the environment is beautiful. I recommend 2941 for a special occasion or anytime you want a nice dinner.
We went here for my husband’s birthday and had a lovely time. Our waiter Mark was very attentive and our food was delicious! Highly recommend!
Did tasting menu with wine. Excellent food and wine. Very fun to try all the different courses. Quiet and pretty environment. Great service.
Fussy, overpriced and overdone with ambience of hotel lobby. Food and wine both would have been excellent and reasonable value at half the price, but not enough here to justify the cost.
Lovely ambiance; delicious food; knowledgeable and competent staff.
Everything was great
The hostess that called to confirm my reservation said that dress was casual, but we found out the hard way that it's business casual at minimum. Very good food, service was outstanding. Be prepared to drop some $$
Beautiful place, excellent service and food. I would highly recommend this restaurant, especially for a special event or romantic meal.
