Service was great. People were nice. Our waitress was wine knowledgeable, which is always great. Unfortunately (and this is a SF thing), the people working the table, while nice, were trained poorly. There were too many hands and arms moving over (and even touching) the food on the table. Food was ok. Pork belly was cooked correctly, and was tasty (the corn was a good addition). The effort to make the pork belly dish a surf and turf dish (by using seaweed and uni) sounds more interesting than it actually is. For the main course, I had halibut. Unfortunately, it was over-cooked and dry.

This place is still going strong after many years which is an accomplishment in SF. They no longer have valet parking which is a shame but there is parking in a secure lot across the alley.
We were seated right away, our server was prompt without being pushy and the sommelier was gracious when our wine choice was not available and he offered a more expensive substitution at the same price. They expressed concern that we were on our way to a concert (we weren't) so that we could finish in time. The dining room has held up over time so come to 25 Lusk.
Food was really good ! Our server and the servers assistant(busser?) were great. It was pricey, but it was really nice . We had a drink on the rooftop bar prior to eating, it was really cool
Parking across the street was convenient, food was acceptable...but, not fabulous. The pre-fixe menu was the main event. My halibut was well prepared, but, only warm-not hot when served.
I was double charged for the wine I had at the bar and the service while polite, SLOW....only a modest experience.
Secret and tucked away but so cool when we sat down. Gonna be back for sure. For us Central Valley folks this place is different but we really enjoyed the fish and menu. Drinks were awesome as well
The services of the resturant is fine, the food is average and the dessert are too sweet. I had been to this resturant many times ( before they have the pixe menu ) this time is the below average rating. The Bar below are poor in rating, service is bad, dirty and ...
Good food. Appetizer came out really quick but then the meal and dessert took FOREVER to come out. The check took even longer too. Our server was pretty slow.
The rooftop food was terrible. Drinks and food were overly priced.
Was not acknowledged by host who was on phone when we walked in. Another server did come over and say he’d be right with us. We were handed pre-fixe menus and it wasn’t clear if a la carte was possible until we asked. Food was good and well portioned. Dulce de leche dessert was excellent.
Everything about this restaurant is simply amazing. Food is excellent and the staff is extremely friendly. Keep in mind that this is an upscale restaurant and the price reflects that, but I will still be going back for sure.
Great food and atmosphere. Perfect place for an anniversary celebration. The service was also very friendly. It was a lovely evening.

This restaurant was a fantastic find near the ball park. The ambience of an old warehouse with a unique modern decor was fantastic. The sturgeon schnitzel was my favorite dish and it is a hearty portion. The pretzel bites are also very tasty. I highly recommend this restaurant for anybody looking for a restaurant other than a bar food type near the ballpark.
Awesome ambiance and the food was prepared perfectly. My fiancee has a food allergy and there were no issues with that either. Our waitress was very friendly and kind. She perfectly balanced being present and aloof at the same time.
Still truly excellent food. Having a chef owner makes a difference, as does attentive but not cloying service. Good flexibility on substitutions for dietary restrictions. And special note for the atypical but delicious cheese selections.

I feel like the main restaurant used to be outstanding but meh tonight our dinner was disappointing. We did the pre fixe and started with the pork belly (v good) and octopus (mediocre, it was kind of mushy). It took way over half an hour for our entrees to arrive. My duck was cold and stringy so I couldn’t eat half of it. The taste was meh. The salad that came with it was meh. My husband’s pork chop was dry and over cooked in heavy tomato sauce that belonged in a pasta dish. The side of potatoes was awesome! For desert we did the chocolate cake and trio ice cream and they were all pretty good but nothing mind blowing. All in all, this was a very mediocre $200+ dinner and I don’t think we’ll go there again. Must point out that the service was on point and our waiter was super nice!
While we have enjoyed 25 Lusk in the past, this visit was a disappointment. In particular, the restaurant served a dish in a dirty, mildew smelling bowl. When the manager was informed, he simply apologized, and did not offer any accommodation for serving unwholesome food. In fact, he did not even have the dish replaced, but only took it away.
I unfortunately cannot recommend this restaurant until the ownership trains it’s management in appropriate customer service.
Pretty expensive for quality. The waiter was very sweet and charming. However the sommelier didn’t know what wines were what, he didn’t know what orange wine was. His answer to why did he choose the paired wines was “because they pair the dish.” thank you captain obvious.....
We came for my husbands birthday and had a nice time but no one acknowledged it was his birthday. Food was delicious and we loved the atmosphere.
We had an Easter Brunch menu that was fantastic. The flavors were delicious and the portions were perfect. Service was excellent and it was late morning prior to the crowds, so very nice setting on a Sunday.
Worst food we had in san francisco, lots of unecessary sauces, presumably innovative, could not finish our food.

My boyfriend is vegan and they had few options for him so the manager stepped in to help us and he was very receptive to our needs. Then Chef Mathew personally came out to discuss food options with us and our server, Sean, recommend a fantastic wine pairing for us to try.
When Chef Mathew came back with the finished products we were ecstatic and his dishes were delicious! We had a custom vegan dish made for us and we also got the Sturgeon Schnitzel which came with parmesan spaetzle, garlic cucumbers, English peas, lemon butter. The Sturgeon Schnitzel is the best fish dish I’ve ever tried in my life and I will absolutely go back to have it again! After our meal they bought us a surprise sorbet trio with fruits and dehydrated lemon power which was the perfect way to end the evening.
Overall, we could not have left happier and we will forever recommend 25 Lusk, our server Sean, and Chef Mathew’s food to friends and family. We went for date night and they made us feel like royalty! Make a reservation at 25 Lusk; you’ll love it!
Second time we have eaten at 25 lusk and totally disappointed both times. Although the ambiance is very nice, waitstaff and management very nice and attentive, the food is abysmal and a total ripoff.
Every dish we had on the pre fixe menu ($65 each + $6 each for the duck) was overloaded with too many ingredients that clashed instead of complemented each other. Salad very soggy and overdressed reappeared under an asparagus and parmesan risotto which was topped with seared duck breast that arrived cold. Who wants to eat duck breast with parmesan cheese underneath and why would I want a soggy overdressed salad wilted below that whole pile? Thinking I would be too full to order the dessert course I was offered side dish instead. I never should have ordered more asparagus, but I did, because nothing else sounded appealing. The asparagus side arrived buried in a thick congealed hollandaise sauce that clearly had been sitting under a heat lamp waiting for the duck breast to sit at least the 7 minutes I was told the chef held back the duck breast so it wouldn't arrive bloody. Instead it arrived cold with an in edible side dish. The bill for my husband with tip was $200 even though the floor manager comped my cocktail and my husband's 2 glasses of wine. Might go back for drinks on the roof deck once the weather get warm. Will never eat there again. Way too many other restaurants in this town you can get an infinitely better meal for this price or less.

Classy decor and subdued lighting. Excellent service that was attentive without being overbearing. Tasty food well prepared. Definitely buzzing but not so loud that it was difficult to have a conversation at your table. Very enjoyable experience all around. Expensive but worth it if you're looking for something nice.

The salad was salty, jerk chicken was tasteless, green beans were mushy my rum and coke was good though.
I entertained 3 customers here and everyone enjoyed everything that was served. Especially the grilled octopus appetizer. I’ve been here many times and 25 Lusk always impresses.
Amazing meal. Well balanced, great portions and worth the price. Will return to dine again.
Food was excellent and atmosphere was pleasant
Service was not as expected compared to the last time I was here few years ago. Host was moody, our server was not friendly, didn’t even greet us, just walked over to pour us water, I had to greet him to open up conversations. The food was under seasoned, especially with their entrees. Menu has changed to very basic, nothing that stands out like their location and name.
Will not be returning.
We had a wonderful Valentine's Day dinner at 25 Lusk! The 3-course prix fixe menu had terrific choices for each course, and the wine pairings were perfect!

I had a great experience yet again at 25 Lusk. I’ve come before with a big group from work and we spent a lot of money which is why I thought we had such good service, but after I went last night just my mom and I, I can tell even when it was just us two the service was excellent. My mom has to step out for a work call for about 20 minutes after the first course was served so I waited and my pasta got cold and the server asked if if he could bring me a new one once she was back. That is the type of service I think most restaurants aspire to have and that combined with his knowledge of the food we were enjoying really shaped our experience. Thank you
Great service and awesome cocktails and wine selection. We were surprised about how big the portion was (in a good way). Steak was cooked to perfection. We wished there’d be more sauce on the side for the steak though.

We will return, soon and often. The ambiance was great and the layout very appealing. There are 3 levels; casual on the roof deck, classy lounge on the lower level and fine dining on the street level. Our service was stellar. Very close attention was paid to every detail. The wines were very good and the server was knowledgeable on the selections.
Our food was delicious and presented well. We had Artic Char and a steak. The price fixe menu is 3 course,2 savory and 1 sweet. They also offer an a la carte menu too. Easily one of our best meals in the 2 years we’ve lived in the city.
