   Outstanding service with a diverse, interesting, and unique small plates menu. Excellent cocktails and prompt but not pressured service. There was a private party below the dining room resulting in a somewhat loud ambiance. Overall a great experience and value for the quality. I will highly recommend 25 Lusk to all my colleagues, friends, and family.

   Chad and Ken were wonderful. The executive chef Matt creates exquisite dishes. Entire staff was friendly, including Byron the bartender. The entire experience feels high-end, but relaxed without the pretentious nonsense. We definitely will be going back. Highly recommend this place.

   Brick walls and huge open beam ceiling with subdued lighting presents a relaxed, warm welcome. Natural materials and modern, efficient design is an invitation to appreciate and enjoy. Menu options are diverse and original. Wine list is organized by season. Unique and interesting with reasonable price options as well as standouts. We selected Ahi tartare and ravioli appetizers were visually attractive and original interpretations. Recognizable and complementary flavors. We had to request bread to savor the sauces. We shared Short ribs and polenta for main course. They are listed as "small plates," generous enough for two. Ribs delicate and rich. Polenta with a citric edge along with parmesan and risotto base. Sampler dessert was tasty. Passionfruit. Posset with kiwi and frozen champagne crystals is a wonderful combination of creme brûlée like texture, passion fruit citrus acid, lime friendly kiwi and crunchy cold champagne. Great finish. All service people were friendly and available. We don't why we don't come here more often. Got to change that.

   25 Lusk is our go-to for celebrations and this did not disappoint. The quality of the food is exquisite and the $45 prix fixe menu was delicious.

   25 Lusk is hands down one of my favorite restaurants to go treat myself. Chef Matthew Dolan is an amazing human being and everything from the food to the service is very well thought out and conscious about sustainability. Its an experience for everyone. They're rooftop is awesome for all occasions. I absolutely love the food. I tell people its an experience in itself how each ingredient comes together with each bite you take and if you have not tried the posset you are truly missing out.

   wonderful reopening with small plates, each one more appealing than the next. Chef came to say hello. Wait staff attentive, but not overbearing. Atmosphere remains casual chic, low lighting, seating spread out feels covid-safe. highly recommend

    Made reservations for a birthday dinner on a Wednesday night. After being seated in what appeared to be the bar area, there were two other parties in the entire restaurant, we discovered they were only serving small plates. The waiter, after explaining to him the menu differs from what’s online, said they only served the small plates. After conferring with others, he said they were serving dinner only at the roof top dining room. Food was fine, probably would have been more enjoyable had they let us know at time of reservations that dinner was only served at the rooftop dining area. In addition, food seems pricey having to order & pay at the counter… would recommend for the food, with clear understanding of how the restaurant works. Not the place for a fancy meal, as the website suggests…

    I try them out once in a while as I really want it work because of the locatio, interior and food. And this place could be so good but it's not. Because they're just not coordinated. We went to dinner yesterday. 5 people. Ordered cocktails and asked for the "select" winelist as we wanted nice wine after. Then we ordered food. After asking for our cocktails a couple of times, the food shows up. One dish after the other keeps coming in. Still no cocktails. We expected cocktails before the food and wanted to order the wine and have it WITH the food. Drinking tap water with your food is just not the same... Instead our cocktails showed up after we had eaten the first 5 dishes. And still no wine. They apologized and said the bar was "busy". I don't get that business decision. I think the profit from our cocktails and bottles of wine could have easily paid for an extra bartende for the entire evening. Instead the ended up with limited beverage revenue and an unhappy customer......

    Fresh, eclectic menu with something for everyone. We sampled many of the small plates and enjoyed every bite. The dishes were inventive, interesting, and delicious. We appreciated the mocktails and the desserts were a hit too. It was a quiet night which suited us as we had a chance to talk and enjoy the meal. The pacing was great and the servers were attentive without hovering.

    Great food and service. Don’t bet on them honoring your reservations for top of the roof seating. Worst of all don’t promise your guests and business partners for top of the roof seating because this restaurant will disappoint you and your guests wouldn’t be happy.

    We’ve been to 25 Lusk a few times in the past but not for several years. This time was by far the best. So many really imaginative dishes! Our favorite small plate was the cauliflower crème brûlée, savory and so delicious. We finished the diner with the tomahawk steak, Also fantastic!

    We were there on 2nd night of post covid reopening. Menu is now mostly share plates and we had maybe 6 for 2 persons. Scallop ceviche and grilled prawns were memorable. the burrata ice cream with tomato salad was interesting but the cold was too much of a contrast. we tasted a number of nice natural wines from greece and sicily.

    Loved the space, the view, and the staff was friendly. Changes to make: orders taken at tables instead of having to walk up each time to hostbstand. The fish burger should be more than breadcrumbs and some strands of fish. At least I think it had fish. Even if you did thin slices of pan seared salmon it would have been better.

    Empty on a warm Saturday morning because the word isn’t out yet. This is a one of SF’s few outdoor (rooftop) joints and the ambiance is nice. For brunch, ordering is done at the counter. The food and drinks were good.
