This was our second visit, first time for brunch for Father’s Day. Brought the whole family this time, including kiddos. Everyone enjoyed the dish!! 8 year said you should have a billion stars😁

Being my first time to eat at this restaurant, I was pleasantly surprised with the food and ambience. Both were wonderful! The manager and servers were very friendly also, and did their best to make sure my experience with this restaurant was very positive.

This little nugget is tucked in to the right of our beautiful downtown area. You won’t beat it for weekend brunch, serving both Saturday and Sundays. The service is impeccable and the food is amazing! Ask Chef Jeremy to make you the “ Elisabeth Special”, an eggs Benedict with fried green tomatoes, and a side of Gouda grits!

This was a first try for me and I brought two guests from out of state. We all really enjoyed the atmosphere, food and superior service. Also has a nice lengthy bar with top shelf liquor. What a great addition to Prattville! Highly recommend giving it a shot, I don't think you'll be disappointed.

We had a reservation for today and arrived about 15 minutes early. Upon arrival, we were shown to our assigned seating area (A high top table). Unfortunately, due to a medical reasons, I wasn’t able to sit at the table originally selected for us. When I explained the situation to the hostess, the manager, Kim, stepped in right away to help. Although we had to wait a bit longer than expected for a suitable table (which caused extra work for the hostess because they had to shuffle future guests/tables around), the staff was kind, understanding, and kept us updated throughout. Once we were seated, the excellent service continued. Our server, Kala, was warm and attentive, and made sure we were well taken care of-She gave great recommendations for the food and drinks. It was truly refreshing to experience such courtesy, compassion and professionalism. I sincerely wish more restaurants showed this level of care. A Great big thank you to Kim, Kala, and the entire staff at 243 South for making our first visit a great one. Pros: Attentive hostess, excellent waitstaff, and a responsive, caring manager. Food was Amazing and perfectly prepared. Cons: The dining room and music were a bit too loud as we could not communicate with each other without raising our voices.

Food was good, but the restaurant was uncomfortably loud. Granted, we went on a Friday night but before the “late night drinks” portion of the evening. The music was so loud we couldn’t hear the waitress or anyone else at our table. Everyone in the restaurant had to shout to hear each other over the music, just seemed way more like a bar than a restaurant.

We had sat for a few minutes before anyone saw us and they were SO apologetic and sweet about it. It wasn’t even a long wait!! The vibes, the food, the drinks-everything was amazing! Love this place and cannot wait to go back!!!
