   We hadn’t been here in a few years. I’m so happy we came back and were reminded of how fantastic the food is! All four of our entrees were outstanding. The short ribs were absolutely delicious. Looking forward to our next meal here soon.

   Cute outdoor seating area, but the quality of the food has gone downhill significantly from when I visited last a few years ago. It went from an American fine-dining experience to a more traditional tavern. Service was not particularly attentive either - forgetting an ordered side, forgetting to bring water. Given the prices they’re still charging, I’m not considering coming back for a while.

   224 Boston St. was such a great dining experience. We are from So Cal and it was recommended by friends. The food was fantastic, the wine list was great, the restaurant has a lot of character and personality, the staff are friendly and engaging and tended to our needs. We actually ran into people we know so that made the experience even better! We definitely recommend 224 Boston St. to any visitors and locals!

   Weeknight visit around 8pm. Magnificent homemade pasta (the shrimp scampi & rigatoni bolognese). We wolfed down the meatballs app on creamy polenta. Well done cocktails. Great homey joint and very attentive service.

   We had a fantastic dinner at 224! Service was friendly, attentive and helpful. Make sure to get the Brussel sprouts, and truffle fries. GREAT visit.
