Always perfect, I love here.
A wonderful setting for special occasions
Beautiful, historical, place- old NY
Mucho ruido. Mujeres gritando sin ninguna consideración por los demás comensales.
Exceptional service thank you
Always great. Like walking on a Mad Men set.
The 21 Club IS New York and it never disappoints year after year one knows what to expect .... and what one ought expect is a scene not to be found anywhere else.
My favorite restaurant in New York possibly in the world. The best!!!!
Always a great evening!
I took my niece here for dinner since she just started attending college in NYC and thought it would be a nice place to go . We love NY restaurants and enjoy fine dining . I have to say the biggest disappointment for me was that the service was not at all what I expected . We felt that since it was two women that we were not really attended to , ( even though my bill was close to $500 ) .
The table next to us where two men sat were given their menus right away while I had to ask for ours , the men came after us and were having their appetizers and I still only had my martini and no menu . When I asked for it I was told I thought you would want to sit and have your drink first , that’s ridiculous especially since my niece is 18 and not drinking .
Over all the food was very good and we did like the atmosphere but if I go again I’m taking my husband !
We love going to the 21 Club for special events. They never disappoint. It's a very special place and I highly recommend it.
The service was wonderful but the food is certainly overpriced. I expected an amazing food experience because of the price of the dishes but what was served was dishes I could have cooked myself. Nothing as extraordinary as I was expecting unfortunately which was quite disappointing and we left $400 less from the experience.
Outstanding in every way! Superb food, attentive service, and a warm atmosphere! One of our best dining experiences ever!
NYAC post meeting dinner
Met with JA Woodfin
We go here every year for our anniversary. The quality and service are very outstanding. Very pricey but worth it. Memorable experience.
An awesome experience! The service, and food were amazing! We also got a tour of the famous wine cellar and were blown away by the detail and personal attention from the staff. This is a meal and an experience I will remember for a lifetime.
21 Club is an amazing experience. Great food, ambiance and the best service.
I used to like Club 21 and it has a history. Dined with my son and we were both ill next morning. Portions were small and my wedge salad and crab cake were drowning in too much dressing and sauce, respectively. My son's escargots and lamb chops were ok but the meal was overpriced, had to signal a waiter every step of the way to get service. Overheard they are usually closed last week of August but not this year- maybe that affected the situation, but I won't be going again.
When is 21 EVER a bad idea? New York's hottest club is 21 and it's got EVERYTHING. Coat check, a dress code (men, please wear a jacket), boxes of matches, oh...and it's got iron jockeys: it's that thing, you know, where you take an iron midget and use him as decor. Had a great time w/ my S/O: 21's consistency is why I go there. Chicken hash was the comfort food I needed – along with 750 ML of Pol Roger – and the profiteroles were there to close out my night. My S/O had the burger, the cheesecake, and, of course half of the aforementioned champagne. Shout-out to Simon. The only thing missing was The Reverend: place just isn't the same without him.
I've been coming to the 21 Club for over a decade and there is nothing quite like this place. Whether I'm meeting a client to close a business deal over drinks/dinner or just entertaining friends and colleagues, I'm always very pleased with the exceptional service, wonderful cuisine and the unique setting at the 21 Club. A New York iconic establishment!
This is one of our must-dine spots on every visit to Manhattan not only because of its classic ambiance but also its superb food and service.
My Steak Tartare was delicious, but too small.
The quality of the food, principally the taste has not recovered since the place reopened following closure for repairs. This is especially true for my favorite steak tartare.
And some of our tux clad servers were indifferent and never smiled.
Beautifully setting! Food was a bit disappointing.
Iconic NYC restaurant experience, from amazing classic cocktails to baked Alaska to finish off your meal. The service and experience was top notch
Top notch all the way!
Food was good. My waiter was fine. I appreciated no loud music allowing you to hear the conversation you are having. It was intimate and Sergio at the bar was superb. I recommend.
We went there for restaurant week and I am glad it was for restaurant week. I don't think the food worth the regular price and the hype. The lamb Bolognese is tasteless and the chocolate is very dry. I am not sure if it will be better with the regular menu, but if it's the same quality, it's kind of sad. The bread is good and, the service is excellent though.
It was everything I hoped it would be. The location is classic, the decor is charming, the food is second to none, the wine list is to die for. True New York history.
The iconic 21 Club is just as you would expect; graciously formal with warm hospitality. Quiet, subdued, impeccable service and food.
The 21 Club is an awesome place for lunch and on Restaurant Week it was on the top ten for sure. I had the Coq A Vin (chicken dish and the housemade salmon for the first course.
The only drawback is men MUST wear a jacket and if you don't have one they will provide you one. I think they should reconsider at lunch, at at dinner maybe.
I will return to this five star in a future visit to NYC.
The service was exceptional and it was a very fun old pub atmosphere.
Service was excellent. Great ambiance. We felt like we were treated the same as if we were one of the stars who frequent the restaurant.
First time after 35 years in NYC, it did not disappoint. Loved the ambiance and superb service.
Fantastic place. Thank you for taking such good care of us.
The 21 Club is a historic restaurant. The interior has both a traditional lounge area and an unusual downstairs dining room with hundreds of items hanging from the ceiling. It's spacious and comfortable. The food and service are very good. Jackets are required for men. It's a unique dining experience. We were able to take advantage of their Restaurant Week menu which was a good deal.
Excellent food and service. We really
After doing extensive research on this location, I learned about its history throughout the prohibition era. I was immediately enticed to see what a renowned establishment with such background history had to offer.
The overall setup and ambiance was nice. I appreciate the lounge/bar area. The service was great. However I was very disappointed with the quality of food. My guest and I had the smoked salmon, lamb, truffle Mac and cheese, cream of spinach and the strawberry sundae.
The truffle Mac and cheese had the most flavor which was actually very good. The main courses were sub par. I expected something better from such an establishment. But for the price of restaurant week ($42), I cannot complain but I would not recommend or return to this place.
Excellent in every respect! Look forward to returning soon.
