208 Rodeo Ratings and Reviews
I work downstairs from the restaurant and have been many times and always had a great experience. I've never been for breakfast tho, and it was fantastic! They've even done catering for an event and did a tremendous job. I highly recommend it. Sitting outside on a nice day is the best!
Tomahawk steak was the best steak I've had. Great flavor and size! A bit pricey but it was a one time visit since we live out of state. Wife had the Gluten Fee pasta which she loved. Atmosphere was wonderful. We sat at an outside table and enjoyed the ambianc even though it got a little chilly for my wife but the staff gave her a blanket so all was good! Service was excellent. Could not have asked for a better dining experience! Will definitely go back next time we're in the area!
One of our fav restaurants around LA, but not on this occasion.
Jack Hammers on Wilshire blvd ruined the ambiance on Sunday after our church service.
Anthony, our server, was extraordinary and most expeditious and engaging.
Unfortunately, he could not control the fly that flew directly into my glass of wine...
nor five minutes later when the second fly followed into my wife's Prosecco.
Check the street, if no jack hammers....go for it
We were first seated in a congested area near a passage way inspire of the fact that there were many available tables, the hostess said we can not move, we then asked a waiter to move us which he promptly did. I ordered a drink which Never came, I cancelled with waiter and made sure to tell him to take it off the bill, the bill came with the drink on it
Still my favorite restaurant !!!!!!! Yes, it's simple and the menu isn't large but that's the reason why it's so good. The specials are always amazing and knock your socks off. The location is the best and the waiters are always top notch. Worth the money and wait!
Made a last-minute lunch reservation for 208 Rodeo and was overall very satisfied with my experience. I got the seafood salad, which was delicious. The burrata appetizer was also very good. It was a bit pricey for lunch (salad was almost $40), but given the location, I suppose that's to be expected. It's a good people-watching spot since the outdoor seating is on Rodeo Drive, but the quarters are extremely close, so we had to sit just inches away from other diners.
Hello! Such a good location, i.e., the vibe alone is worth a visit! And somebody is a great cook back there. Although the dishes tend to be pricey, they are large portions so the price point isn't bad. Really enjoyed our little Pre-Labor Day dinner summit here. Thank you.
We were disappointed that the beef was overcooked and we ordered seared foie Gras as a side on the beef. The foie gras was also heavily overcooked. I know it's a tourist venue but we still expect your meal to be what we ordered - when we mentioned to the waiter he agreed it was overcooked and not normal but there was no reduction on the bill and an automatic 15% tip. They could have really turned the situation around, but didn't.
My wife and moi have been going to this wonderful place for the last few years , for one good reason the food and service is great, the location is perfect for shopping and dining. And 208 Rodeo drive is the place to be for a beautiful lunch or dinner. We head back as often as we can even though we come from Quebec we are always in Santa Monica.
