I had an hour to spare for a Business meal. The food came out a bit longer than expected and wasn't served with everything that we asked for. The waitress wasn't around when we tried to ask for what we ordered so that took some time as well. Apart from that, the ambience and quality of food and drinks were good.
I requested a certain table on the terrace, as I’ve eaten here before and knew where Id like to sit. My request was made in person 2 days prior and I was told it was fine. As I was about to be seated a rude manager told the host I couldn’t sit there because it was a table for three and I was by myself. She said it was Sunday and they were “about to get busy”. That table remained empty until I was paying my check. I felt as though I was singled out and penalized for dining alone. I asked if there were any entree specials since in the past I’ve had the lobster tail, I was told about the fish of the day but then overheard my waiter telling another table about the lobster tail special. Again, I felt as though I was being treated differently for dining by myself. It was an awkward atmosphere for me and I will never go back.
Good food, and great people watching, but check your points if you book through open table... the restaurant failed to honor a 1000 point reservation I made, adjusting the booking on open table back down to 100 points. Not cool !
I dined here with my husband and 2 young jet lagged children who had fallen asleep by the time we had arrived. The staff were so attentive and accommodating and even gave us blankets for our sleeping children. The food was lovely and relaxed. A very pleasant dining experience.
Great spot if you are visiting or shopping on Rodeo Drive
My best friend and I stopped here on our final evening of our girl getaway! We found 208 Rodeo on a travel app and made a reservation from our phone. We were able to get a seat outside for dinner. The atmosphere and food were wonderful and the service even better! We really enjoyed ourselves and would recommend 208 Rodeo to anyone!
Unique location with beautifull outdoor seating. Indoor is like a very normal restaurant. The food is fantastic especially all types of fish and the burger. Staff are very busy and overloaded in peak hours. Do not seat near the pass ways cause there would be someone passing right next to you every second
We loved everything about this restaurant! Our food was delicious, Mary, our server, was outstanding, and the ambiance was perfect. What a wonderful way to end our day in Beverly Hills.
Parents were in town and wanted to take them to rodeo drive. Nice restaurant until they seated us in the corner next to some boxes and storage. Ok, not a huge deal and willing to overlook that. Food was good until they messed up an order of fries (we wanted truffle fries in the side). Rather than bring us a new side of fries they told us to pour truffle oil in the fries that were on our plate which made them soggy and disgusting. Wished they didn’t screw this up because our experience would have been decent, but it ended up being pretty mediocre. .
We went here on out vacation. Amazing ambiance. The Arabiatta pasta was amazing
Service was excellent as was the Al Fresco dining option.
Todos los platillos muy ricos y bien presentados. Los meseros muy amables el servicio muy bueno. Precios elevados pero lo vale.
We were in LA celebrating our eight year anniversary and decided to have our last menu here. Food was amazing, drinks were average not great and not worth the $20 price... the staff was friendly but our server pushed us off on to a newer person saying “he is outside and wanted an inside table” but it felt more like he didn’t feel we’d tip him enough cause we weren’t wearing designer labels... they were still friendly and good service but that was very snotty but hey it’s Rodeo Dr maybe I paid $250 for a menu that comes with snottiness 💁🏻♀️
It was our third time at the restaurant and it was very disappointing. Service was awful, food arrived late, appetizers at the same time as the main course. The steak was undercooked. The server did not bother to check on us at all, we ended up receiving service from the host. Will not becoming back.
Second time here and we loved it again! This place is turning into a tradition every time we visit LA! Never disappoints and the best customer service.
Great food! Fabulous staff! Zach was awesome! We could make substitutions because of food allergies and preferences and it was delish!
Lovely service, accommodated our seating requests, prime location and view! Delicious lunch menu and a memorable experience! Highly recommend if in the Beverly Hills area in walking distance of a lot!
A small but unique restaurant in the Beverly Hills Rodeo drive area.
Food is perfectly done, and the drinks and wine exceptional.
Don't forget about the free underground parking. Great deal.
Most of all we enjoy the company of all that work at '208'!
They are like family to us.
They are not intrusive, but engaging and always kind and professional.
Good food, good service, very touristy location. Should have known better.
The food was delicious and the staff were amazing. We closed the place and had the best time with the host and the servers. They were warm, friendly and kind to my children. A really amazing experience and just a great evening!
Totally disorganized staff. Service was terrible. Food (sandwich) too almost 40 minutes to arrive. No communication between staff members or us. Disappointed.
Great Birthday spot!
Sat outside- It was wonderful. Staff was polite, friendly, and courteous. Food was delicious.
Great spot, very good staff
Valentines mnue was sucks
Services was bad
Pretty much it's the worst restaurant I have been to
The location was good but the food was mediocre at best. Paper napkins and paper tablecloths are a huge disappointment. It says a lot about a restaurant.
A great spot for people watching and being right in the heart of the Beverly Hills action and exclusive world class shopping! The server Brent was attentive and great. The outdoor heaters were a perfect accessory to a chilly January lunch time moment.
This restaurant is one of our favorites for the West LA area. And, whenever we have a friend or business associate come into town we like to take them here. The food and service are always exceptional. And, with a table outside you get a great view of Beverly Hills, and excellent people watching. This last time I had the Salmon, and the special Thai Curry soup. The Salmon was excellent and the Soup was outstanding. My wife had the Halibut special, and our guest had the Steak Frites. Both were great. I would highly recommend!
great food service and ambiance but seating/tables a bit squashed
This was my worst experience ever. The waiter was totally unprofessional. After an hour of wait for the main course we decided to leave.
Owner was very nice. It was hectic and she kept her cool and got us in asap
Outstanding as always! The atmosphere and attention to detail by the staff is first class. We will return again.
Crowded small tables, high priced, ok food, so so service. Go elsewhere, the view isn’t worth it.
Great place to eat. Food was great. We are from the east coast, second time eating there, food and service outstanding.
Wonderful Treat - we had the family at a great outdoor table and enjoyed the nice weather in December while the rest of the country froze!!
Fun place for people watching, not for the cost conscious.
It was a great day to seat outside . Service was very good.
We are here for our Christmas night dinner. Beautiful ambiance and we had a wonderful server! Food was delicious!
Reservation for 3, asked if it was an imposition to move but since it was Christmas we figured not really, but nothing was offered in return for our generosity. The restaurant is overpriced and the food is average. The table of 6 we moved for were late to their reservation and caused the issue yet the restaurant made us accommodate them basically. Next time, won’t ever do it for any restaurant much less 208 Rodeo. Won’t be back. Lost business.
