208 Rodeo Ratings and Reviews
This restaurant is one of our favorites for the West LA area. And, whenever we have a friend or business associate come into town we like to take them here. The food and service are always exceptional. And, with a table outside you get a great view of Beverly Hills, and excellent people watching. This last time I had the Salmon, and the special Thai Curry soup. The Salmon was excellent and the Soup was outstanding. My wife had the Halibut special, and our guest had the Steak Frites. Both were great. I would highly recommend!
Reservation for 3, asked if it was an imposition to move but since it was Christmas we figured not really, but nothing was offered in return for our generosity. The restaurant is overpriced and the food is average. The table of 6 we moved for were late to their reservation and caused the issue yet the restaurant made us accommodate them basically. Next time, won’t ever do it for any restaurant much less 208 Rodeo. Won’t be back. Lost business.
Nothing special. Overpriced and average. We had the lobster tail, two tomahawk steaks, a Moscow mule, two mojitos, five variety cheese plate, 1/2 ounce of caviar, and mushroom bisque. Two people and the bill was around $650, the automatic 17% gratuity was a huge turn off. Not bad, not the best, just ok overall.
I work downstairs from the restaurant and have been many times and always had a great experience. I've never been for breakfast tho, and it was fantastic! They've even done catering for an event and did a tremendous job. I highly recommend it. Sitting outside on a nice day is the best!
Tomahawk steak was the best steak I've had. Great flavor and size! A bit pricey but it was a one time visit since we live out of state. Wife had the Gluten Fee pasta which she loved. Atmosphere was wonderful. We sat at an outside table and enjoyed the ambianc even though it got a little chilly for my wife but the staff gave her a blanket so all was good! Service was excellent. Could not have asked for a better dining experience! Will definitely go back next time we're in the area!
One of our fav restaurants around LA, but not on this occasion.
Jack Hammers on Wilshire blvd ruined the ambiance on Sunday after our church service.
Anthony, our server, was extraordinary and most expeditious and engaging.
Unfortunately, he could not control the fly that flew directly into my glass of wine...
nor five minutes later when the second fly followed into my wife's Prosecco.
Check the street, if no jack hammers....go for it
