The food was delicious but our server was not great. She never came to make sure we liked our food or if we wanted more to drink. Service was also slow. The Muzak was too loud, making it overwhelming even though we ate outside.

The manager did not know how to act on the scene. Unfortunately I’m gonna have to give them two thumbs down.

The food was great. We ordered shrimp and calamari appetizer . Bread and truffle butter. For entrees lobster spaghetti, bolognese spaghetti, shrimp limeri, and fish of the day special. Dessert bread pudding and sponge cake. Everything was 10/10! Would definitely return.

We have enjoyed eating here in the past. However things seemed to a bit off last night. Our waiter seemed well intended but either new or forgetful. He brought me the wrong glass of wine despite reiterating the name correctly when I ordered it. Then he questioned me later about what I really ordered. Things were offered like a bag for our leftovers then never delivered until we asked again. We were delivered a couple of items to our table which we didn’t order apparently ordered by another table of guests nearby. We asked the waiter if they could validate our parking before we ordered dessert and he said yes. We requested this so we could spend more time at the restaurant beyond the two free hours offered by the city. Yet when we asked the hostess to validate our parking she stated she could not as we already had two free hours. I explained that the waiter told us we could get validated and based on that we spent more time ordering and eating dessert. She still refused. Apparently the restaurant is unwilling to back up their wait staff’s errors despite charging a compulsory 18% service fee. There are so many great restaurants in this fine city that I think we will go elsewhere In the future.

To start I understand this is a “Tourist Trap” open table rated this as $$, when price-wise it should be rated higher than that. Waiter was rude overall. I have never had a waiter bring us the dessert Tray while we were still eating dinner. We felt rushed , unappreciated- our overall experience was underwhelming to say the least. Typically we tip 20% or higher. Here the automatically add an 18% tip which I should have removed. I would not eat here again.

Great location to start your shopping experience. Picturesque staircase leading up to the restaurant. Get a reservation and get there early because they jam the tables together. Can almost taste what your neighbor is eating.

I don’t usually care about pricing. Especially when at a classy restaurant Beverly Hills. But value principle wise wow. First we wanted to sit outside. But rain left the seats Drenched. That’s fine. Happens. Inside was very very cramped. Server was very nice. But should have told us that when he asked my son if he wanted a double burger it would become a fifty dollar burger. My burger a single was 45 dollars BecaUe I added one strip of bacon and a 1/12 of an avocado. Up charges of 17 dollars. We asked for a grilled shrimp and scallops appetizer. And four shrimp and four scallops took this to 60 dollars. In short the server should have simply disclosed the ip charges a la carte everything. Two burgers a chicken sandwich a salad bread and butter three iced coffees and the apoetizer were 450 dollars. The food was excellent. But not close to worth the surprising cost which didn’t correlate to the menu prices at all. Bad form.

Beware there is an 18% charge that does not go towards the servers tip. It was explained to us the charge is for medical insurance for employees ect but our server stated they do not receive benefits and they do not see any money from that 18%. If you are planning to tip 20%, just know that will actually be 38% of your bill.

The food was fantastic! The ambiance was like something out of a movie, because it was! Facing the famous Beverly Wilshire hotel, where Pretty Woman was filmed made a wonderful night of food, drinks, friends and fun a magical event.

The evening started off well. Parking was easy and it was validated by the restaurant. The hostess was very pleasant and quick. The waiter began on a very nice and attentive note but his desire to provide us with good service seemed to shift half way through our dinner. The lobster and ribeye of the surf n turf were great. My only gripes are that if felt like me and my wife were less valuable to the waiter toward the end of the meal. From what I could tell, he only had three other tables and they were mostly couples, but we hardly saw him after the main course was served. Deserts weren’t offered I had to ask. After asking we actually waited a while before the desert tray was brought out. Then once it was finally brought out, I had to ask him to explain what the items were. This was a little disheartening because about ten minutes prior, he was quick and gave descriptions without being prompted to the table right next to us. The desert my wife selected took a while to come out and when it finally did, he dropped the check off along with it; without even asking if we were going to order anything else. I placed my cc in the check holder while we finished the desert, and waited patiently. I watched him walk by our table a couple times without even glancing in our direction. Then after he spent some time shooting the breeze with another waiter, he finally notice my hand in the air and came back and took the payment. These might seem like minor issues but all of them together made me feel as though I and my wife were less valuable than the other customers he was serving.

It was awful ! I went with my wife who is pregnant and she had some restrictions on what she could eat . They reluctantly accommodated her with food options at last . I ordered a salad, and she ordered soup to start . The waiter brought my salad and no soup . Moments later the servers brought us both dinners and still no soup . We asked them to take them back and bring them out when ready . She finally got her soup and we asked for house bread and it took 20 minutes to bring it . It wasn't that busy either outside . She ordered soda water and they ended up charging $4.95 for it ! What ? Basically tap water . The waiter who wore glasses and had facial hair had the personality of a toad . No class or empathy whatsoever. Truly despicable. I know this complaint will not change anything because I am sure this is biased , but who knows . Thanks

The food and the service was great — however it was very cold (it was also Valentines Day) and sitting outside meant everyone froze despite the heat lamps — so we didn’t order any appetizers or deserts bcz it was too cold to enjoy them

Unbelievably, this restaurant adds a 20% service charge, of which the server only gets 6%. The expectation is that you add another 15-20% more Because the other 20% “ goes to charities, bar keepers, kitchen crew.” From what we were told this is the norm for a party of two or more. Our bill for 6 people was hefty, then 20% was added which is no problem. I always add more than 20% but to be told the extra goes to charities? Sorry, but I already donate and am not comfortable knowing that the 20% added only gives the server 6%. I added another $100 b case our server was amazing- He worked non stop but 6% wouldn’t have been fair. Terrible policy!
