Went for their 2nd annual sip sip rosé event for national rosé day. They ran out of rosé at 1:30pm. The deviled eggs read as chopped oysters atop the egg with a Bloody Mary sauce, but they came out whole atop. The Bloody Mary sauce was hot sauce. Also, my avocado skillet, was a lack-luster wannabe shakshuka. I’ll be back to try the bar, but I was very underwhelmed at the food menu.
We booked because it is National Rose Day and 204 North was having a Rose Brunch. There were 4 specialty drinks on the menu and 3 of 4 included blackberries, which I love. When my drink was delivered, no blackberries and our server said the manager went to get them. After one hour, no dice. I very clearly stated that I’d ordered the cocktail because of the ingredients. When the bill came, the drink was still on the bill. No need to say more.
Service was poor even other than the berry fiasco, plus the food only meh. We will not return.
Nice location and atmosphere. Calamari over cooked and very firm. Light pours on drinks. Meat loaf was great. Chicken crust was hard and detached however chicken meat was plump and tastier.
Out first visit. The food and service were very good. We had multiple appetizers- enjoyed them all. We’ll go back for meals, for sure!
Wonderful experience. Great atmosphere and service.
The food servi
My party enjoyed every aspect of this place. The food was very good! Meatloaf was out of this world! I had a slice of the fried chicken which was just so good I have to get back for it.
Simple, fun and the staff were all delightful.
Great combination of simplistic and easy dining with high-end cooking.
Btw, the ham and tuna (I know, sounds odd) was nothing short of an outstanding flavor treat. Try it.
I'll be honest, I expected more from this place. The server was uninterested at best, the food was good, but ridiculously small portions, and it was so loud we couldn't carry on a basic conversation. For twelve dollars I got a quarter of ONE chicken breast on a wimpy piece of toast! This was a special occasion that was almost ruined, and if it had not been for a delightful bakery nearby it WOULD have been ruined! I don't think we'll be returning.
I’ve had two experiences one was for my graduation lunch which was very cool and easy going no confusions. The second was for brunch with friends their servers are very well trained and attentive.
204 North is a go to destination for me. The food is consistently good. I have been there for brunch, lunch and dinner. The cocktail menu is amazing and the wait staff is personable.
The service was incredibly slow, the food was mediocre and the air conditioning vents dripped on us all night long. Very disappointing.
Our server was knowledgeable and friendly and brought out food out at a great pace. We never had too much food or sat without any food. All of the good was really good - I especially liked the scallops and latkes. We went for our anniversary but I’d definitely go back for another dinner. We did the experience menu and let our server and chef pick our dishes for us and it was a lot of fun and it made for a long leisurely dinner.
Waitress was really nice and attentive without being over baring. Food was delicious
Mother’s Day brunch
Great Mother's Day brunch! Paul was a great server. Highly recommend it for good food and friendly atmosphere.
Good place for brunch close to Belk theater. Great drinks.
Great drinks, great service.
The whole experience started wrong...Hostess was not particularly friendly. The waiter was slow to greet us and slow throughout the evening...The drinks we ordered sat at the bar for an extended period of time...Had to get them myself from the bar. The food while edible was nothing to rave about...The food should be much better than I could make at home...This salmon and steak, unfortunately, were not anything better than I could have prepared in my own kitchen.
Great atmosphere and accommodating staff. Food was delicious as well!
Great food, service and craft cocktails.
Went for brunch with a friend and it was the perfect spot. Great food good price and super friendly staff! Recommend the chicken and waffles!
The food, service, and atmosphere were excellent. I would highly recommend this restaurant.
Great brunch, lunch and dinner spot. Very consistent, excellent menu. Wait staff is awesome
With so many options in Charlotte for brunch, I rarely go to the same place more than twice. I have to admit I’m stuck on 204 North for now! Really like the diversity of the brunch menu and I’ve had good service each time. The food is tasty and the total experience is top notch.
204 North Kitchen was great! Went for my birthday with my wife, it was our first time in Charlotte, and the restaurant definitely lived up to the hype. The food was good, but it was the service that definitely made the experience. Orlando, our server, was friendly, energetic and made it a great visit.
This restaurant was fine but it just didn't have anything to "wow" me. Everything was good but average. It seemed like it was more of a bar trying to be a restaurant during slow times.
A group of my girlfriends and I went to dinner before a concert since it was close to the venue. Service was SO slow, it took 20 minutes to get 3 drinks, 2 that were simply beers on tap. It was a little busy but nothing that would cause it to take that long. Server was nice enough but there was no sense of urgency. Incorrect drinks were brought out twice, food once. Food was mediocre at best; nothing stood out as being really good. Do NOT order the charcuterie!! It was $16 and there were only 2 cheeses and there were only 4 tiny slices of each. We asked our server for more and he said he ‘would ask if we could get more’. After about 15 minutes he brought out a small plateful, but what we didn’t realize is that we were going to be charged another $6 for 6 more tiny slices! We were already running late because service was so slow so we didn’t say anything, however all 7 of us agreed that we will NOT be going back. It’s a shame because the ambience is good and they are in a prime location. I work uptown and this certainly will not be somewhere I go after work for drinks and dinner.
Dinner and drinks with friends - we had a fantastic time and the food was really good. The cocktails on tap are quite good.
Service was excellent. Food was very good. Great beer menu. The beet salad was very good.
The food was very good. Nicely prepared and very tasty. Our party had lamb or flatiron and both were done perfectly. The music was too loud and too annoying, particularly since there was almost no one else having dinner at the time (just a few people sitting at the bar). Good wine choices available.
Excellent, friendly service. Our brunch meals were very good. Grits were delicious!
My group went here for prom, it was very nice and delicious! There was a wedding upstairs and a bagpipe was playing.
Wonderful food! Our server and the service was amazing! The restaurant went above and beyond to make sure we were satisfied. Highly recommend!
I went for Brunch on a Sunday and the food was okay, nothing awesome, and the Bloody Mary’s were not very good either. I liked the way it looked better than the food and drinks
Great! Would definitely come here again!
Great cocktails and great service. Easter brunch was great
Our waitress had her hands full with a 20 top and never checked on us after our food came. The French toast was soggy. Brunch was forgettable.
I could have eaten three bowls of the Brussel sprouts! So good!!
