Don't sit outside lots of flies, wonderful service
Excellent food and service! We are definitely going back!
Our dining experience was far less than memorable. I must say our server was excellent.....the only bright spot of our meal. My wife ordered the fried seafood platter. She asked if she could have the French fries substituted for another vegetable. She made no specific request....just something not fried. We were told the fries could be removed, but we would have to pay for the vegetable. Seriously? We rarely make that request, but every restaurant we frequent accommodates the patron. I had shrimp, which were a disappointment. Both the fish and the shrimp tasted like they had been frozen. The fish looked and tasted more like frozen cod rather than any gulf seafood. Our meal was not worth the price.....we won't return.
Sunday night date with my wife & the restaurant wasn’t very busy. Took 45 minutes to get our appetizers only after I asked about them. The oysters were decent, the smoked tuna tasted like mayo (no smoke) & we sent most of it back. My wife got a shrimp salad (no bacon) & I had the seared tuna. The shrimp on the salad were funky funky, the ranch dressing was the consistency of water and they didn’t hold the bacon. My tuna was cooked well & my side salad never came out. All in all entirely disappointing meal.
I was quite impressed with this restaurant, had never been before. The waitress was delightful and the food was fresh and delicious. Everything we ordered was pleasing. I will definitely recommend
Wonderful experience for me and my girlfriend!!! Food was absolutely delicious!!! Best Ahi Tuna dish I have ever had! Ambience and service were excellent! Definitely will return again, to enjoy the experience!!!
We went to 200 North Beach for my birthday on a Saturday night. I made reservations ahead of time for a party of six. We got there right on time and were seated right away. Everything was wonderful! Our server Dallas was very accommodating, friendly and patient!! Great place to eat!!!
The entire experience was wonderful. Would definitely recommend and return. Thank s
Food was good however side dishes were served long before the main course hence it becomes a starter instead of a side dish
My husband and I had a fantastic dinner on our Anniversary this Tuesday. Lindsay took personal attention for our fun evening. We sat outside, had a beautiful view and the good was fresh and Delish! We started with oysters, then had the seared tuna salad & the crispy calamari . We finished off the dinner with key lime pie. It couldn’t be a more perfect place for a romantic dinner or relaxed enough to bring your family. This is going to be a regular eatery for us ! Can’t wait to go back.
Food was excellent but the service was slow and lacking
Headed to Florida and wanted to stop somewhere “beachy” so drove a bit out of the way. Parking was almost impossible, but aside from that, we all enjoyed our visit. Fried green tomatoes, Bloody Mary, eggs Benedict w crab cakes. So delicious. The server wasn’t the friendliest, but she was attentive and precise. Prices are what I’d expect for beachside dining. One thing I did find odd was when we were seated, the place was almost empty, so I requested a table that was closer to the front w a view—it has one more chair than our group needed—and I was told they only seat parties of 7 or 8. We had 6, and like I said, it was NOT busy or full. They did end up letting us sit there, but the fuss to get there, plus the parking, did not make the best first impression.
The food delicious but the bar for drinks slow
We took our daughter, her husband and our 4 year-old grandson for dinner. The service was friendly and prompt. We all enjoyed our meal. The oysters - anyway you decide to have them - are great. Our grandson loved the "meatballs and sketti!" We are so grateful to have this restaurant in Bay St. Louis!
I had made reservations. They called to confirm. I did not answer the phone but I called and left a voicemail 3 minutes later. It was very busy that night and we had difficulty finding a place to park, but we arrived at 7:37. When we got to the door we were told people had come in and now we would have to wait 30 mint. The woman said she called me and I didn’t return the call. I asked if she checked the voicemail, she hadn’t . Then we were told we could eat at the bar which eventually we did.
The food was not good enough for me to return and the treatment I got at the door was very bad.
I will not patronize this establishment again.
Had the filet, great! Jeff had the grilled seafood plater excellent! Server was great!!
I didn't see a menu for kids meals. We brought my son there and before we went there, we had to stop across the street and get him a burger. Children are not going to eat raw oysters or charbroiled oysters.
Possibly the best fish soup I’ve had, and I’ve been to the south of France! The Trout Amandine is sublime and covered with crabmeat. My only complaint: no celery in my Bloody Mary.
We have been to North Beach a few times since the new owners took over. It is much better and the food is excellent! We will be back many times since we live in the neighborhood. So happy to have an excellent restaurant on the beach!
This was our 4th visit. The food is wonderful, on a par with any fine restaurant we’ve visited.
The food was excellent as always, service was a little slow, my mother ordered a shrimp poboy, with no mayo, not only was mayo on her sandwich but server brought more mayo to the table.
I am sure it was an honest mistake, and we did not let it ruin what was a great mothers day dinner.
Good people, good service, good food. I recommend it. Make sure you make a reservation on those special days as it fills fast.
Our server was superb, food was good but, please remove the table closest to the door. We felt each and every person who came through . Not good.
Would caution anyone going not to accept seating closest to front door.
Good food with great service.
I brought some rellatives with me who came in from out of town. They and I thoroughly enjoyed it.
Waitress didn’t bring out bread to our table. She did to all of her other tables. When I asked her about it she said that we needed to request bread if we wanted it. Also, because her tip was already added to our ticket because we had six people in our party, she neglected our table knowing the tip was a sure thing. Most good restaurants have abandoned this idea because of this one main issue. We have ate here several times and it has always been top notched. Your clientele is upper educated with higher income and will tip according to the quality of service delivered. Best steak on the gulf coast. We always tip more than the automatic tip if it’s not figured in already.
I always stop here when I'm on the Mississippi Gulf !
Business dinners (like this one) or personal dinners are both accommodated well.
Steak was not very tender and twice baked potato was cold. Sent it back but finished the rest of the meal before getting warm potatoes.
Absolutely loved the food and our waitress was spectacular!
Great service, great ambience, charming waitperson with character and good recommendations. And the food - oolala!
Always great food and drinks!!!
Excellent meal, delicious scallops, swordfish, creatively paired with fresh veggies and some dirty rice to die for! The charbroiled oysters are some of the best around. And, we want to give a special shout out the our bartender , he was an absolute pro when it came to Manahttens and Maritinis!
A great place to gather with Friends -fabulous menu & specials and good service! Food is consistently excellent!
Just had an awesome dinner, Kayla my sever was awesome she knows her menu very well and recommended the Soy Ginger Glazed Ahi Tuna which was delicious. This place is great for dates it has a romantic atmosphere it is also great if you just want to enjoy dinner by yourself due to the relaxing atmosphere.
My husband and I went to 200 North for a Valentine’s Day dinner. We skipped the $65 “special menu” — if you added up the prices of all of the special menu items, the total was less than $65 unless you counted the “complimentary” glass of champagne. No bargain there.
So we ordered off the regular menu. I had the wonderful ahi glazed tuna with wild mushroom risotto, and my husband had seafood pasta Anne, which was topped with four fat fried oysters, accompanied by two pieces of garlic bread. Both entrees came with soup or salad, so we chose the lobster bisque with lobster fritters from the special menu for a $5 up charge. Everything was delicious. The potions were so large we could have split one between us. Instead we took doggie bags and had the excess for dinner the next night.
Would have given 5 stars for everything but they didn’t have our reservation made online when we got there.
We enjoyed our visit. Great brunch, bloody Mary's, and service.
Great service. Hated the crab cakes, mushy! The appetizer was outstanding.
We had a pre-Christmas celebration for our family as we all live in different states along the coast. Our table was ready when we arrived, it was out of major traffic, server was informative and efficient, food was excellent. Great experience and plan on visiting again next year.
Had a wonderful xmas dinner with friends. Menu had holidays specials that the waiter recommended. Food was excellent and service was great.
