very friendly staff. willing to accommodate to allergies. Food was good. Price point excellent for the quality of the meal. Location is central to Neptune and waterfront. The food choices accommodated everyone's taste.

Excellent burger for my husband and a delicious choice of haddock potatoes and vegetables in a delicious sauce for me. Quiet and with excellent friendly and quick service

We dined on a Saturday evening at 5:00 pm. The restaurant was quiet at that hour but not empty. The servers were friendly and efficient. My wife ordered the scallops with gnocchi paired with a NZ Sauv Blanc. The scallops were excellent but the gnocchi were bland and doughy. I ordered the pan fried haddock without a drink. The creamy mashed potatoes were the highlight of this dish. The fish was tasty but the coating tasted almost greasy and heavy. The other vegetables were very good. While the scallops suited being served in a bowl the haddock fillets deserved a plate for presentation.

All five of our dishes plus appetizers were delicious!! I loved the chicken curry. We always have a fantastic meal at 2 Doors Down.

I booked this based on Tripadvisor rating. Maybe it was an off night but everything was average. The waitress did the minimum, even less really. My schnitzel was okay but nothing special, the other folks in the group felt the same about their meals. I think that maybe the pub food will be better than the entrees but I won't find out because I won't be back.

The food was absolutely stellar however the service was terrible. Our waiter didn’t come back at all till we were finished. No water refills or even to see how our food was.
