Dinner. Was. Amazing. The Pimento Cheese, the Brussel Sprouts, the Steak Frites - all totally delicious. The server was knowledgeable, delightful and had perfect timing. Everything was fantastic!

Cannot express enough how AMAZING this experience was! From our dinner to cocktails to server to manger KATE, we had an above and beyond fabulous experience. The food is mouth watering delicious but the way we were treated by the manager KATE is what truly set them apart. It is rare that people like her still exist. So impressed with her knowledge and dedication to our experience. I booked by company party here as well and will recommend 1KEPT to everyone I know. Thank you for the great experience. We will be back this weekend!

So nice to find a restaurant where you don’t have to shout across the table to be heard. It was slightly noisy, but super calm compared to most restaurants in Atlanta. The food was absolutely delicious, but their kitchen timing was surprisingly slow. This place is a hidden gem to which I will most definitely return.

The overall dining experience was very good. The food is the star of the show here. My wife and I had the black truffle popcorn as a starter. I ordered the pork and pasta at the servers recommendation. My wife had the wild mushroom fettuccine with cream sauce. The server was very attentive. The chef also came to our table to check on our dinning experience and offered some helpful cooking tips on adding spice to dishes. The restaurant was a bit darker than most so reading the menu may be challenging for some. On the side of things that could be improved, my wife witnessed a disagreement between the servers on who would be responsible for one of the large group tables that was being seated. That should not be part of our dining experience. As for what I was very pleased with, our server took great care of the cellphone that I left at the table until I returned to get it the next day. Thanks!

Upon entering, I was immediately excited because the ambiance was exactly what I was hoping for. The hostess was very sweet and welcoming. I waited at the bar until the rest of my party arrived. The bartender was friendly and offered her input on a drink I inquired of. I sipped my drink while waiting for my party. The restaurant is very dark (in a good way), it's actually really pretty, the dark wood floors and walls, with nice lighting, it's very cute. Once my party arrived, they grabbed a drink at the bar and then we were seated. Our server came over and introduced herself and then proceeded to tell us how it was going to go, "I'm going to take drink orders, then I'll come back for appetizers and we'll go from there". This was ok to some degree but actually, we had been seated for a while (with drinks from the bar) so we actually wanted to order appetizers once she made her way over to us. And let me add that we had one sober person in our party so she really wanted to go ahead and order apps. But our server wouldn't allow us to do so. Eventually, we ordered apps and they came out ok, the octopus was very flavorful (rather salty and really tough), the Brussel sprouts were just ok, the salads were good. Our main courses came out, I had the wayburger, it was delicious! Others got the shrimp and grits and they seemed to enjoy it fine enough, one girl got the salmon and she cleaned the plate so I believe it was to her liking. :) Our server kept coming over to check on us but didn't seem to be too aware of timing or how brusque she was coming off, which was interruptive at times but overall, she was ok. I would've advised her to check the temp of the table before coming over like "HOW'S EVERYTHING OVER HERE?!!!", we were like ok calm down, we're kind of in the middle of a sensitive conversation right now but ok. Anyway, all in all, it's a cute place, the food is ok, the service was steady and that's it. I may or may not go back, I'm not really sure.

Our dinner was not a pleasant experience. The restaurant is very dark--not just ambience-creating dark, but so dark it was difficult to read the menu and see the food. As we entered, we were hit by a blast of loud "music", making conversation uncomfortable. The servers were very friendly, but the service was unusually slow, both for drinks and for food. And the food--I like salt, but both of our entrees (Springer Mt chicken and pork tenderloin) were far too salty; it was hard to enjoy the food--all we could taste was salt. I've been to 1kept before and liked it; I don't think I will return.
