1kept Ratings and Reviews
We loved the dinner and the decor and especially loved the waitress she was spot on and even called us lovely's!! The decor is rich and a little sinister yet upscale loft pad I really digged it . The food was off the chain and the craft cocktail left me wanting more . The pinment cheese board was fantastic ! I can't wait to go back and try other dishes and hopefully the waitress will be out waitress again! One word .... GO
It was our first trip to 1Kept and we loved it. The place has a cool vibe, the food was delicious and the service fantastic. Our group of 6 shared a flat bread, the brussel sprouts and pork belly -- all were great and easy to share. Dinners were all good but we gave the highest rating to the chicken schnitzel...really top notch! We were really thrilled to meet the owner and hear all about the restaurant and his plans to open more restaurants around the country. Highly recommend!
The pimento cheese and bacon jam is the true winner here. Their cocktails were not overpriced and creative. The schnitzel was very good. The chicken was a tad overcooked but all other components of the dish made up for it. As for my girlfriend's meal, she got the pork chop which sounded great. It was unfortunately overcooked and dry. The flavors were there, but the dish fell flat due to the doneness of the meat. We were also surprised that it was dead inside despite being 8pm on a Friday. The food and cocktails are definitely worth the search for this poorly marked and hard to find spot. We will be giving it another shot in the future. We just hope they fix their pork chop.
We really enjoyed 1Kept. Food and service were very good. The pork chop is wonderful if you want a hearty meal. the chicken is perfect for lighter fare. Although the wine list is ok the corkage fee at $20 per bottle is too steep.Change that to two bottles and we will be back tonight. with that caveat we think you will really enjoy this place.
I have dined st this restaurant quite a bit. The food is always great but the service has taken a nose dive. We had two servers and one is always rude, the other brought the check as soon as we got dessert. Then took our napkins before we finished our drinks. I have never be so insulted! I spoke to the new manager and she apologized but didn't seemed phased. I can't understand the service when there are MANY better places in Atlanta. Save your money!
1Kept is a great "go to" restaurant for everything from a business dinner to an evening out with friends to a date night with the spouse. The food is always delicious and the staff are friendly and inviting. The bar serves up great craft drinks. Overall just a great place to go. The parking and entrance is on the back of the building.
Really wanted to like this restaurant, but it fell short. Disappointed that they only brew tea every other day and serve stale cloudy tea to guests. Had to settle for a Diet Coke that comes in little bottles for 3 each. The short rib was delicious but the potato hash was undercooked. Shrimp and grits were delicious. Management didn't come by to see how things were which is usually standard at a restaurant with this price point. Overall I wouldn't recommend as there are too many great restaurants in Atlanta and the value just isn't there.
We all raved about this food afterwards! Everything was insanely delicious! Highlights were fried brussel sprouts, pork meatballs, shrimp and grits. Shrimp and grits were the best I have ever had! The grits were like smokey bacon deliciousness! We really enjoyed everything. It's very loud there so I wouldn't suggest if you are looking to talk a lot. But it's a fun atmosphere with good drinks & great good! Definitely a new favorite in buckhead!
Service is excellent. Food is remarkably consistent and generally very tasty. We had the pimento cheese plate, brussels sprouts ,mussels and salmon. I had the salmon and I found it a little too heavy on the spice and the underlying root vegetables although interesting, didn't quite work for me. It was good, just not to my taste. And yes, I will definitely return.
