    Food and service was very good. The noise level was such that it was hard to have a conversation at your own table without raising your voice.

    Noisy. Ordered BD cake for my grandson/ they said they didn’t have it. Had to buy a slice. Waitress was nice but not knowledgeable about some things. Cocktails were not very good.

    Good Morning, this was my first visit to the location. Lots of construction near hotel where I stayed. Better signage to get You to the restaurant from hotel. Elevator gave me an issue so I drove up the garage. A very Slow night, no offerings made, never pointed out our signature cocktail menu, or best dish, good choice dish etc. Best advice, When it is slow, you have the opportunity to dazzle your guest, Just Do It. ✅. 40 years Restaurant industry. ✨☀️🙏

    I normally order the Fried Shrimp but tried their burger this time. It was cooked perfectly, juicy and very tasty.

    Too many flies. Although they had the little fly fans on the tables, they were all on our feet and backs. Very uncomfortable. We sat indoors, and it wasn’t a great experience with the flies.

    1936 burger was very delicious! Cooked to perfection! I love the touch of "1936" branded into the bun! Enjoyed the ambiance of lunch by sitting outside and watching the crab boats come in...I love Calvert County!

    Love the restaurant and food. I understand it’s younger adults waiting tables but if they would check on the customer more instead of hanging out at the hostess station for longer periods. Once had to go to bar to get my own refill.

    Entering the restaurant there was welcoming, though several waiters were at the front desk talking with each other. The food was not enjoyable. The jumbo shrimp were under cooked. The hush puppies were overcooked and hard as a rock.

    The food was good but the service was horrible. I spent $250 for 4 people I would have expected better service we got our appetizers with no plates. And they were messy so we really needed them. When I asked I was told they ran out of small plates so we had to do without. We just ended up dripping stuff all over the table. Them we had to clean it off ourselves. They didn’t take our menus until we finished our apps and they let dirty plates pile up on our table. Even after bringing us our entrées they still left the dirt appetizer plates on the table. It was way too much money for way too bad service.

    I recently dined at this restaurant and had a rather mixed experience. Unfortunately, my coleslaw was spoiled and had a putrid smell, resembling that of garbage. Additionally, the seafood mac and cheese was quite watery and lacked flavor, with only two small shrimp in the dish. The rockfish bites were misleadingly named, as they were just battered rockfish on a skewer. On the bright side, the fried chicken and green beans were quite enjoyable. I've visited this restaurant in the past and the food was completely different, so I was quite disappointed with my recent experience. Overall, while there were some positives, the spoiled coleslaw and lackluster seafood mac and cheese were definite low points. Unfortunately, I will not be returning to this restaurant in the future.

    Service was outstanding as always, however, was disappointed with the food. Hush puppies were so over cooked and hard a rock. Wings came out the same way very over cooked.

    Went to celebrate a friend’s birthday. The establishment opened at 11am and that was also our reservation time. The reservation was booked a couple of weeks in advance. Upon entry, the workers were cleaning up the dining area as if they closed the night before and didn’t finish. That wasn’t a good look or first impression because it was our first experience. I will return to try it again because my hope is that the lack of cleanliness at opening was an anomaly.

    Used open table to make reservations. When arrived at restaurant was informed by staff that they do not take reservations. I then showed the manager the OpenTable app and how I was able to book reservation. She was shocked I was able to do that and. Had no idea that people could make reservations at her restaurant. She advised me that she would inform her owners.
